I love staying at this hotel. For sure anytime I stay in Mexico City this is where I will be staying. The staff is so friendly & helpful. This last time we had the pleasure of meeting Gonzalo who is a bell boy. I wanted to make sure he got some type of recognition for his efforts. He spoke great English, he was kind & helpful. My Favorite part about the hotel is the friendly staff then the warm pool. I love that warm pool! Best experience ever.

Good hotel for the money. Great location if you need to be close to Reforma and Downtown Area. Easy ride to and from the airport. Good business hotel.

Room was ok, breakfast was not the best. I stayed here some years back and it was better. The Niko was better last time I was in Mexico City a few months back.

Hotel is very nice but i did not appreciate them trying to charge me for Internet and Breakfast even though I had paid for that in my booking.

Not the cleanest hotel by North American standards... but good value and well located.

I travel to Mexico City frequently and I stay normally in Polanco. This time I wanted to see the colonial section of the city and thought the Melia would be a perfect location which indeed it was. My frustrations were as follows, in sequential order: - Room key did not work - The safe box did not work and could not send anyone to help - The bed was so hard it was next to impossible to get a good night sleep - The A/C could not cool the room to a comfortable level - The pillows were ultra thing and only 3 were provided.

Beautiful Safe Hotel in Downtown. Only negative thing I can think of is that they charge way too much for internet access.

The hotel has a great location and is nice, decoration is nice but not modern, can be of the 80's -90's however is clean, not damaged and looks good. Great service, great location... the taxi in the outside area is very expensive, the airport taxi is safe and less expensive. If you are a tourist take the turibus and you will met the city.. take your hat, sun glasses and enjoy. If you are going to the piramids do not spend in the first store the tour stop.. prices there are 1000% more expensive than teotihuacan.. in the piramids you can purchase a piece of "obsidiana" for $100 and in the store the same piece is about $2400 pesos..

This hotel has BED BUGS in the rooms and the rooms are so small that it makes you feel in a jail. The water was coming out yellow and they have many other negative things that there is not enought space to write them all. So I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

Found a reasonable last minute deal on hotels.com. Room a bit old and worn but facilities good, including a decent gym (for a hotel) which is what I require. Walking distance to Zocalo and new walking st. Nice lobby and helpful staff. Internet ought to be free of charge as other hotels in DF includes this free of charge.

No matter how hard we tried to adjust the thermostat, it was very difficult at night to get the temperature to rise above 14 degrees C. My partner slept in his clothes, because it was so cold. The breakfasts were wonderful but pricey. The evening restraurant meals were rather timid. We were looking for something more exciting and eventually found it in a street stand.

We stayed 3 nights as part of our vaction to explore Mexico City. The hotel standard was very good, though the paintwork in the bathroom needed attention. We only had Breakfast at the hotel, which was up to standard food wise, thoiugh the service was not as slick as we would have expected. The reception staff were very helpful over every thing we asked of them.

be aware the private taxis engaged by the hotel, which are rather expensive compared to other radioed taxis (supposedly safe)

I stayed at the Melia Reforma almost one week. I had a very experience in the hotel. You will find that the people working there are ALWAYS very helpful. The Bellboy; the Front Desk; the Concierge; the Taxi services. The only problem there is the noise at all times. Specially at the day that one church near by have services. The area is very safe and you will find very good restaurants. I recommend one name: SPUNTINO. The food is delicious and the owner always there.

To me I liked this hotel very much, and my stay was great. Would have rated a 5 in all catagories, until my checkout. Everyone, please be aware of extra charges to your room at checkout. My experience was excellent at the Melia until my checkout and on my bill were charges for snacks, beer, from the mini bar (the seal had never been broken for my total stay). It took an extended amount of time to explain and clarify this to the staff at the front desk. I explained to them that my stay was great but for this mistake (and really how can this happen?) I'm not sure I will select this hotel again. I'm wondering if they make these charges to all clients and and expect they don't notice on thier bill??? For me, not gonna happen!!

The hotel location was great fro my business meetings. The personnel were Great!! The room was too small for being a 5 Star Hotel. The food in the Restaurant was less than desirable. The cost for this food was far beyond the quality of the food. I would not stay here again.

Excellent service and hotel staff. We had a conference there, and everything went off beautifully. The rooms are beautiful, but a little steep. Did appreciate the chocolates on the bed every morning though!

ROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN AND NICE PERSONNEL VERY HELPFUL BAR WAS GREAT CAFETERIA HAS GOOD FOOD AND SERVICE LOCATION FOR OUR TRIP WAS EXCELLENT IN GERNERAL, VERY SATISFIED

Overall our experience at the Melia Reforma was very enjoyable. Only two complaints: at times the front desk was not well-staffed. Unfortunately for us, when we checked-in and when we checked-out, there was only one person working the front desk, which slowed things down. The other negative was the tour agency that the hotel uses; the concierge provided misleading information regarding what would be included in the tour fee. And the tour agency was a complete rip-off -- do not use Monopolis Tours!

Hotel Melia was comfortable, very good location, 15 blocks from El Zocalo. Very kind attention. We had a big room, with a very big bathroom. I will recomend it, we would like to came back.

Very nice staff but hotel needs a renovation. Too old for the price they charge. Location is really not that great. The view from the room is not nice. I thought it was going to be better.

The only disappointments were that the indoor pool is very small and the water was too warm, and I had paid extra to be on a special floor with its own lounge and beverages, but the lounge turned out to be closed.

excelente ubicacion para disfrutar del centro de la ciudad, excelente servicio y muy agradable hotel...el piso ejecutivo vale la pena

El hotel está muy lindo, aunque las habitaciones para mi gusto son demasiado pequeñas y la comida muy cara! La alberca de 10, padrisima! Muy limpia y el agua deliciosamente templada! No tienen videojuegos, como lo anuncian aquí, y la T.V. se veía pesimo.

Es un hotel con muy buen trato del personal y la ubicación s excelente

El hotel es muy bonito, el personal muy atento, excelente ubicación, el desayuno es muy completo y muy mexicano, tuvimos una experiencia muy agradable!

me dieron un cuarto que le urgia una remodelada, alfombra y cama en muy malas condiciones. Pedi un cambio y me mandaron a otro piso, donde todos los cuartos estaban remodelados. me pregunto por que no me mandaron desde el principio a un buen cuarto? cobran por el internet, no entiendo?

団体客が多くロビーはいつも混雑していた。荷物は自分で部屋に運びます。部屋は広く、シャワールームと浴槽が別になっていてお湯も問題なくでるところが嬉しかった。地下鉄やメルカード シウダデラに近く、パン屋やセブンイレブンも近くにあります。ホテル内カフェのパスタは絶品です。メキシコ料理に疲れたら是非 !

En principio, la ubicación del hotel es excelete pues es una zona céntrica y donde se pueden tomar bus, taxis y el Turibus. La atención de sus empleados hacia los huéspedes es especial, son muy atentos...me pareció que su objetivo fue hacernos sentir cómodos y con ganas de regresar. Para una próxima oportunidad no dudaré en regresar al Hotel Melia México Reforma.
