Good value and the room was quiet so I got a good sleep.

Eventhough, the hotel room is small but it has almost everything and the service was very good. Want to go back again.

very good choice for the many include breafast the rooms are small but if you only need a place to put your head and get some sleep its O.K

You might think a two star hotel is going to be cheap mattresses and cheap towels, but I was pleasantly surprised! Firstly, one must acknowledge that in general, hotel rooms in NYC are small. There's no getting around that. That being said, the bathroom was still larger than ones in London! I stayed in a very small room with a twin bed (who knew?) but the bed was very comfortable, the sheets decent, and the blankets comfortable. The rug was a little unfinished (unfinished at the baseboards) but it was clean. There was a window unit for a/c and yes it's noisy but it was fine for the unusually warm weather. Water pressure throughout Manhattan is usually down in the morning I'm guessing, so if you can, shower at night when the water pressure was just fine. The location can't be beat: walking distance to so many great restaurants and attractions and the subway is one block south of the hotel. There is a great gourmet bodega half a block down (if you decide not to take advantage of the continental breakfast in the hotel.) All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the quality. I would stay there again if I take another trip to NYC.

very small rooms... much smaller than advertised in pictures and everything else. had we known that the rooms would be half the size of what they appeared to be, we wouldnt have stayed there most likely. that said, it served its purpose and the location couldnt have been better

The room was tiny. When we entered the room, the door couldn't open all the way because it hit the dresser. We had the double bed room. However, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower, sink, and toilet worked. They also provided a complimentary breakfast which included pastries, cereal, juice, and tea/coffee. It was 5-6 blocks away from Penn Station and 2 blocks away from the nearest subway station (28th street). Despite it being a small room, we hardly stayed at the hotel and was accessible to many of NYC attractions. The price was affordable, given the fact that many hotels in Manhattan are quite expensive.

The room was typically small but good enough for one person. The bed was very comfortable, the shower head sprayed water everywhere and I couldn't get any cold water only hot!!!! Over all my experience was just OK.

The Clarion was a good inexpensive place to stay. The only issue was with the pressure of the water in the shower it was just barely over a trickle so it made for a longer shower.

I know that all manhattan hotel is small and expensive. I enjoyed stay hotel with kids over the thanks giving holidays. There are nice staffs and very convenience with breakfast. Also location is good to access for shopping or empire building and subway station.

Good location, 2 blocks from Empire State Building midtown Manhattan, walk to anywhere, 10 minutes from downtown, Subway couples blocks away, very good location, friendly staff very polite and helpful, the best hotel rate in the city.

Clarion Park Avenue is in a great location, right near the restaurants of "Curry Hill" and easy walking distance to a lot of Midtown sights. The staff was very friendly & helpful, and the rooms (while small to the point of comical) were very clean and serviceable. Free wireless & very reasonable valet parking rates are also big pluses.

The hotel room was clean but, way too small. The breakfast was pretty good. Again, the rooms and the bathroom was way too small. I am petite and I still stump my toe on the bed post because of the rooms size and the carpet and floor board was coming up and tatered and torn.

Friendly staff but the room was tiny, the shower was cold and the view was of a black-painted wall! Very claustrophobic experience.

the bed was much more comfortable than i thought it would be. the room was small but that was fine. the only problem was that they crammed a dresser in the room which made it almost impossible to access one side of the bed. my only real complaint is that they would not allow me to bring the free continental breakfast to my room, the staff pointed to a sign that said "no food or drink in the rooms." it's kind of absurd because they have coffee makers in the room!

My room was about the size of a closet. The toilet was broken. Location on Park Ave was great, but wouldn't stay there again.

The room was really small but very clean and comfortable. It was like a larger more pricey hotel that just shrunk the size of everything to fit the price. Bathroom was decent size, service was friendly. The location is prime for such a cheap rate in the city.

I booked a standard double, which is tiny. The bathroom is so small that the tiny sink is almost not usable. The window a/c was loud and hard to adjust the temperature. If all you want is a place to sleep in a safe area, you should consider this hotel. The staff are friendly and the check-in and out was fast and efficient. The public areas are well kept, though not fancy, and the continental breakfast is pretty basic, but not bad.

The room was so small when I opened the door to get in it hit the bed...had to squeeze my suitcase in sideways. Couldn't fit an ironing Board anywhere in the room ( no floor space). Worst water pressure I've ever had.

Учитывая, что до всех достопримечательностей и магазинов нужно долго (сравнительно) идти пешком, этот отель находится в неудобной зоне. И сравнительного дорого, для отеля такого качества.

Das Hotel ist klein aber fein! Die Lage war super um Manhattan zu entdecken. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Hotel très bien situé, Empire State Building juste à coté, calme, chambre propre petit déjeuner correct, si nous retournons à NEW YORK nous y séjournerons à nouveau

Příjemný hotel s perfektní polohou! Překvapí poněkud menší pokoje, ale na přespání po celodenním šlapání po New Yorku absolutně dostačující! Ocenili jsme Wi-fi připojení k internetu v ceně ubytování.

Por estar inserido numa cidade com uma demanda enorme por hotéis, o preço até que é bom, mas de qualquer maneira é elevado para nós pobres brasileiros. Em questão custo-qualidade, vale a pena para quem não quer ter que dividir banheiro com outros hóspedes. O single bed é semi-claustrofóbico, mas a partir do momento que não se deve viajar para ficar em quarto de hotel, acaba sendo funcional. A localização é boa para quem quer ficar na parte sul de Manhattan. Fica perto de uma Estação de Metrô também, o que é interessante para quem quiser economizar no taxi. O serviço (café da manhã, levar e trazer malas, etc) é bom, mas simples. Nas 5 noites que fiquei o quarto não foi arrumado nas duas últimas diárias, mas sou muquirana e não deixava gorjeta - deve ter sido por isso. Via de regra era limpo o lugar. Tem um Pub legal logo ao lado do bar. Isso é um plus a mais, porque vc pode encher a cara até passar mal e se arrastar sem medo de se perder na volta pro hotel. Caso o pub fechar, tem outros pubs, liquor stores e delicatessens na cercania, então de álcool você estará bem servido. Comida também, porque tem farmácia e hamburguerias perto tb.

É um hotel bem localizado. Perto dele há uma estação do metrô. No café da manhã você tem várias opções de alimentos. Os funcionários foram atenciosos. Tudo saiu de acordo com o esperado.

Ett bra hotell nära till mycket i centrala New York. Små men fräscha rum med allt som behövs, trots att det var på en liten yta. Frukosten var ingen höjdare men klart ätbar ochingick vilket är bättre än på många andra hotell. Fanns mjölk och flingor, rostat bröd, juice, te, kaffe, marmelad, frukt och pannkakor.

It is like stepping into the Country of Lilliput when entering the hotel. My room was very small but suited my needs perfectly. It was arranged well and had all necessecities including a well-functioning bathroom. Everything was new/well maintained, cleaning was first class and breakfast was better than expected. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is in my opinion safe and good - if you get tired of walking the metro is near by. Both Grand Central Terminal and Penn Station is in a walking distance from the hotel.
