The carpet was wet from a leaking mini fridge and the beds were hard as a rock!! Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to just about everything.

Beautiful pool area (very large kidney shaped pool, kids pool, hot tub)! Adequate family sized rooms. Very close to Animal Kingdom

There were bugs in the bathroom. Was not happy with that.

Hotel was close to ESPN, which was a plus for our visit, and there were a couple of convenient restaurants right nearby. The breakfast was pretty good and the wi-fi was adequate. However the room was accessed from the outside, something I am not comfortable with and it had a strong, musty smell combined with the smell of rug shampoo or cleaner that was very bothersome. Good location and lovely pool area, but I would not stay again.

Hotel had a great location near Disney theme parks (closest to Animal Kingdom), good-sized rooms (2 dbl beds + sofa), and a very good breakfast -- including waffles, eggs, bacon, etc. -- included. Good value for the money. I would not recommend the theme park shuttle as times weren't convenient and shuttle was overcrowded and slow. We drove ourselves to the parks. Our only complaints were that the sofa bed was old and broken (rest of the furniture was newer/nicer) - our family in a different room had a working sofabed -- and that the heating element on the hot tub broke our 2nd night there. No hot tub was a bummer but not a deal breaker since the rest of the stay was good.

For all intents and purposes the hotel provided everything we needed. It provided a shuttle to Disney, had free breakfast (which was satisfactory), and the bed was comfortable (although I think I may have been allergic to something in the pillow), What I did not like about the hotel was the value, the maintenance, and the overall attitude of the hotel staff. The price that I paid for the hotel was not worth the broken AC, the stains in the bathroom, the smelly towels and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. If I had paid less for the room, I would have been satisfied that I got what I paid for.

Recently my husband, my sisters and a friend stayed at this hotel for 1 night. We were heading to the Magic Kingdom. The location was perfect. Only about 4 miles from Disney. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. It was also reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking to stay 1-2 nights in the Disney area. We will be returning.

This is a super clean, very comfortable place to stay while visiting Disney. We all can't stay at Disney, this is the next best place. Great room, clean as as can be. Great breakfast, super staff. 1o min from the park. Shuttle if needed. A+. I'll go back.

The staff were friendly, the location was great, the pool was fantastic and the breakfast was good. A great stay.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn Suites Maingate in September and was pleased overall with our stay. Pros - Size of bathroom, size of room, politeness of staff and maintenance crew, hot breakfast and great pool area. We had one small issue with our tub stopper not staying up when showering therefore never draining. Upon calling the front desk, they immediately sent someone up to repair it. The only main issue that we had were some rather loud slamming of doors during the night jarring me awake. Not the hotel's fault, just some guests with bad manners. Overall, for the price, I would recommend this hotel. Our girls loved the pool area in particular.

The tv remote didn't work and when they couldn't fix it they replaced the whole tv. Very nice and friendly.

The T.V. kept flashing on and off without notice. Then when it finally came on for good it had a lot of static on every channel. Other than that the hotel was nice and clean. The rooms were big and they have a wonderful free breakfast

I visited in January 2011, three years after first visiting in 2008. The hotel has declined in quality. 2.5 stars is fair for this hotel. Good points: Good breakfast, nice pool, clean pillows, clean towels, fair price, friendly breakfast & front desk staff. Bad points: Substandard ventilation in bathroom, leading to mold on door (the presence of which shows poor cleaning as well). Stains on carpet. Poor job cleaning bathroom prior to check-in & afterwards; particularly poor job making beds (sloppy/lumpy/rushed). More attention to cleaning and maintenance would be helpful. In 2008, I would have given this hotel 3.5 stars easy. Now its a weak 2.5, but tolerable. One must walk outside to access the breakfast area and front desk, which can be a pain when the weather is bad.

Staff and hotel location was fantastic. Everyone very friendly and close to attractions, shopping and food. Shuttle service friendly and prompt. Only complaint was noise from surrounding rooms - particularly when showers or toilets flushed. Small item as we were dead tired at end of day and used this as wake up call - LOL - Would stay again.

This hotel was very comfortable. Room was very clean, did not cause me to break out in a rash like the hotel from the night before. You will have a nice supply of clean towels, plenty of hot water. Room had microwave and mini fridge. Also have a safe so you can lock your most valuable items. Very quiet at night. Just becareful when they serve their free breakfast. Get there early before it becomes a mad house. Did not like the fact that they charge for faxing.

It's located close to the Animal Kingdom and other parks...it's a good place to stay a couple of days with a nice structure, but don't expect a good breakfest at all...it's worth your money...

While this hotel is beautifully located and the pool and grounds are lovely, our room was not acceptable. The toilet did not work when we arrived. Instead of relocating us to another room, they insisted on "fixing" it. The maintenance person got it flushing again, but the told us the "trick" to keeping it working. Additionally, the room smelled very musty and was very damp -- the carpeting even felt wet when walking on it. I would not recommend using this hotel.

Very close to attractions!!! Was middle ground for family. Loved the pool and especially the hot tub!!! Friendly staff made it even better.

This has been our favorite hotel and we have stayed there 3 of the last 4 years we have traveled to Orlando. They have a great Breakfast and a wide selection of food. However, out of all the time we have stayed there this time was the worse. Our bathroom was dirty when we checked in, and our air conditioner unit was leaking water on the carpet which made it obviously west and musky smell. We will probably stay there again, but I will definately speak up about the problems with the room.

Great price and super close to attractions. What a Deal!!!

The hotel was set a little bit back from 192 which made it a little more quiet. The rooms were clean. However, the AC had to run all night (below the window) and it was something I was not used to and it kept me up. The breakfast that was included was average. The hotel staff were very nice. Compared to the first hotel that we booked and had to leave because of bad location - this hotel was a big step up. Pool looked nice. Hotel is a little pricey.
