My stay at Zleep Hotel Astoria was very underwhelming. The reception staff at the front desk were very unfriendly and made it seem like they were doing me a favor if I asked a question, including checking in. The carpet in the room was disgusting and still had cigarette burn marks in it from what seemed like ages ago. The hotel is located just opposite the rail station which is convenient, however, the noise of the incoming and outgoing trains was quite distracting. There aren't any amenities in the hotel and the shower gel dispenser was not working. The only positive aspect of my stay was the comfortable and clean bed.

The only positive about this hotel is the location and that all places of interest are quite close to the hotel. The conveniences in the room are very low.It`s good for staying for max. 2 nights.

Ideal location for anymore who like to be near the railways station for a quick get away.Naturally this comes at a price, the noise levels are quite high at night, although thats nothing that a good pair of ear plugs can't solve. A dissapointed element is that lack of breakfast and wifi already included in the tarriff - it can get quite expensive. Overall, really quite useful for a short stay.

The hotel was ok, but nothing special, and the rooms were more like 2 star rooms. The staff in the lobby were friendly and helpful.

I cannot complain too much about this hotel but I did only use it for sleeping in since this was a business booking. The condition of the room and facilities I would say were average to good and met my requirements. The one thing I will say is that the bed, oh my gosh, awful! Terrible bed. After one night of sleeping in it I woke up with a slight back ache in the morning. After the second night, I was only able to sleep for 4 hours before the pain in my back would start to wake up involuntarily. By the fourth and last night, the damage was complete and I slipped a disc. I have moved to the Hotel Zleep Centrum and I can tell you that the bed there is exactly the same!!!! Not recommended for people with back troubles!!!

I was not given a room as described on the hotels.com web site during the reservation. The room did not have city view nor phone in room, which were specified on the reservation. The hotel asked for more money to give me a room as described on the hotel.com reservation.

clean and tidy room, silent, great for a single night where you only need a good nights sleep and then moving on.

Old fashioned property that felt in real need of a refit. The small room I was in was shoehorned around the stairwell, it felt like a converted cupboard. PS I'm fine with small European rooms, but this one was tiny. Breakfast was OK but disappointing when compared to the numerous other Scandinavian brekkies I've had - which were often highlights of the trip. The railway station was outside and was quite noisy in the evening, but this didn't disturb my sleep. The location is excellent, but I'd recommend others stay elsewhere to have a happier stay. Staying in much more reasonable Malmo might be an idea.

noisy, useless staff, unsafe neighbours... This hotel is really very bad...

There was no internet available, no amenities in the room, no telephone, no air conditioning, and the window would not open. It was 81 F inside the room. A fan was provided but it was noisy and inadequate. There was very little space. Tivoli Park and the train station are nearby, so the location was good; however, the neighborhood did not feel particularly safe outside the hotel in the evening, where we attempted to escape the heat.

The first hotel we stayed w/ no landphone in the room! It made us insecure if there maybe an emergency. The receptionist told us to go down to the lobby if we need anything! No wake up calls.

The room was fine and some members of the staff were much friendlier than others. The noise from the train station made it tough to sleep one night since we had to have our window open (no A/C). If convenience and budget are your main concerns it's a good place to stay but ask for a room that is on the opposite side of from the train tracks!

Just a few steps from the train station and downtown Copenhagen. Room was small but very clean. It was very warm during the night and did not realize that there was a fan in the closet until morning.

The hotel astoria is located near the central train station in Copenhagen. The facade appears fairly old and the people at the front desk appeared to have limited comprehension of English language. There is a very small elevator to go up to rooms. Once in the rooms, they are very small and tend to look a little old. The bathtub has a very short shower which is hard for tall people and the tub itself appears as a seat making it challenging to stand up in the shower and keep your balance. On a positive note, the location is great next to the train station however this does cause some increased noise. The breakfast buffet is beautiful and nice addition to this mediocre hotel. Stay here to sleep but don't look for many amenities or overly helpful staff.

My room was the smallest I ever stayed in. I small single bed in the corner of the room. No hairdryer which is a big must for me. I had to ask at reception for one. That was after I was ready to go out, so it was too late. Breakfast was nice

wey friendly and helpful staff when arriving. practical that the breakfast is included, and it was also very good, except from the juice and the coffee, those were really bad. I do not think that the price we paid to stay three nights at this hotel reflects the standard we got. Honestly we were quite disappointed over this hotel because it was old and had quite a low standard. the room was cold and the bed unpractical and hard. But it was clean. We were especially disappionted and a bit mad about all the noise outside the hotelwindow and also outside our room-door. this led us to stay awake at night.(think there were some constructionwork in the street which started at 06.30 a.m). this hotel does not offer anything extra, and is unsuitable if you are planning a romantic or relaxing week-end.

The hotel Astoria, copenhagen was a disapointment. It is relatively cheap compared to most hotels in Copenhagen, but for the price compared to the UK or Australia, it is very overpriced. I was in a superior room and the standard I found was- The room was small, and the beds are just foam matteresses, that are hard, unfresh and uncomfortable. The bathroom was old and moudly, and in severe need of an upgrade. (due to cracks and mould) The service we received was not good at all, apart from 1 reception member. For eg. We had been staying there over 6 days at this point, and a different reception staff member, jumped on us walking in, demanding to know if we were staying there, in the most rude manner, and that if we didnt show our key right then and there we would be removed from the property. Of course we did, but that was a little extreme. We werent dressed like we didnt belong, my partner was wearing a suit, and i was wearing a designer dress and heels as we had just been out for dinner. The cleaning staff were terrible too, not replacing towels, not wanting to clean the rooms. We had ducked back to the hotel to get something, and the cleaner came in, and said, that she wouldnt clean the room at all. We were just leaving, as we were only picking something up, and so we said, no we need new towels etc. so she quite annoyed said she would after she did the others. She did remove out old towels, no replacements, no bed being made. (it only had one blanket and no sheet, so a simple pick up and straigten is all that was needed) and no cleaning products were used in the bathroom. We did complain and it was done by a better, friendlier cleaner the next day. Breakfast was adequate if you are not a vegetarian/ vegan. I was stuck with eating a roll, and cheese every day as there wasnt much for me. My partner enjoyed the varieties of cold meat. It has a free swimming pool nearby, the complex its in is quite good, apart from the communal change rooms and the fact you are expect

Good for a short stay. A little noisy due to train station but very helpful staff. Close to Trivoli and easy to get to from airport!

If location and reasonable price are important to you, you will enjoy this hotel. The rooms are small but adequate, the included breakfast buffet was great, and the location was fantastic. Our first reaction when we walked in wasn't positive, but it turned out to be a nice experience. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, and our bed was very comfy. If street noise bothers you, definitely ask for a room on the side away from the train station. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much...not a glamorous hotel but it had a very European feel and everything we needed.

the breakfast was marvelous. the women at the desk were very helpful. it was quiet considering it was in a business district.

The hotel is accessible right from the Copenhagen main station without crossing any street. It is a practical hotel, everything adequate, nothing fancy. Breakfast is great and included in the room. Street noise is not a problem.

While this hotel was close to the train station (the trains seem to come through your room at night), Tivioli Gardens, and the city center, we were disappointed with the out-of-date furnishings, the sparseness of the rooms, and the general feel of a hotel way past its prime. On the good side, the staff was amazing, the breakfast was great, and it was convenient for touring the city. If you book this hotel, go with minimum expectations and spend as little time as possible in your room.

This hotel is right outside the train station. Location is perfect cause youre doorstep is close to everything. The ouside looks average but we relaxed when we got inside. The staff is really friendly and helpfull and give good advice on youre every need. Breakfast was also nice. All in all a good hotel , perfect location with friendly staff. I will stay there again.

Hotel Astoria in Copenhagen was definitely NOT 3-star worthy!!!! If we'd not been locked into the payment we would have definitely changed accommodations. I wished I'd brought along a bottle of Tilex in order to clean up the tiles and the floor in the bathroom. The bed was a box springs with a 2" foam mattress. It was inches off the floor and inches from the walls on either side. We were 4 floors up from the street but all street noises sounded as though they were just outside our window. The temperature was on the warm side but there was no air conditioner. While the 1/2 block walk from the central railway station made the location convenient the trains running every 4 minutes just out the front door was a poor trade off. The breakfast was the one redeeming bright spot in an otherwise miserable place to stay and is the only reason I would even give the Hotel Astoria one star.

Staff was great, breakfast was good, hotel was generally clean and well kept. The room was uncomfortably small, however. The bathroom and shower were small, poor shelf for holding glass and toothbrush, etc., and strange shower tub. The two-way Euro style window would not open from the top, only the side, so it was difficult to ventilate the room without the window swinging across the very small desk. There was a noisy bar across the street with loud patrons making noise well into the night. They do the best they can with an old building and noisy neighbors, but I wouldn't go back.

Next to rail station and within walking distence of just about everything in Copenhagan. Rates are reasonable for this city. Staff friendly and helpful.

We spent two nights in early September. We chose the smallest room and would not do that again. The bath tub was short which was ok but half of the bottom was elevated, I suppose so you could sit on the elevated part. This didn't leave much room to stand under the shower at the other end. There was no A/C but the window opened. However, then you could hear the trains leaving the station and street noise. Otherwise, it looked clean and the young ladies at the desk looked professional, spoke English, and were happy to answer questions. The breakfast which was included was very good with plenty of the usual European choices. I would stay there again but would would book a larger room. It was just a few steps from the train station so the convenience was outstanding.

this hotel is right at the railway station and is VRY noisy with trains running by the window all night long.

The Astoria is in the right location being so close to the train station and some of the sights and is a definite three star hotel. We found the price high when compared to North America hotels / motels. The staff were pleasant, helpful and strict on the price per room. No freebies here ... All in all a decent place to stay for a night or two.

Extremly noisy night and day, even with earplugs. Bad bathrooms. Good breakfast. Great location.

Extremely small and super noisy room (facing South,it is probably much better facing North or Railway station)

Billig og helt greit hotell i umiddelbar nærhet til tog stasjonen i København, vil anbefale dette om du har tenkt å oppleve byen ikke hotell rommet iløpet av ditt opphold. Jeg sov godt uten for mye bråk fra omgivelsene til tross for den sentrale beliggenheten. Hyggelig personale i resepsjonen var det også!

Hotellet visstnok fra ca 1933 og bærer preg av det.Endel nedslitt,spes.på lister osv på badet.Måtte ha gjentatt hjelp med nøkkel for å komme inn på rommet.Rommet ok,ut mot Vesterbrogade.Ok rengjort.Bad fungerte ok.Ok senger.Hjelpsom resepsjonsdame,meget vennlig.

Mit ophold levede til fulde op til mine forventninger.

Bra läge nära centralstationen och centrum av staden. Mindre bra med hårda sängar och delvis störande tågtrafik.

Helt OK rum, enkelt men tillräckligt. Otroligt centralt. Städningen uteblev en dag. Ganska störande ljud från järnvägsstationen om nätterna. Inget hotell för barnfamiljer, men helt ok för en helgresa. Kan tänka mig att boka igen.

Ligt naast het centraalstation. Sommige kamers kunnen last hebben van de treinen. De centrale ligging vlakbij Tivoli, winkels, openbaar vervoer en musea maakt een hoop goed. Als uitvalsbasis om Kopenhagen te ontdekken erg geschikt.

Første morgen kan jeg ikke komme i bad fordi vandet kun er lunket grænsende til det kolde. Samme oplevelse næste dag. Ikke et sted jeg vil anbefale man overnatter. Jeg skal i hvert fald ikke overnatte der mere.

Hotelli on vaatimaton mutta siisti. Sijainti on paras puoli. Hotellissa ei ole ilmastointia ja ikkunoita ei voi pitää auki melun takia, joten jos sattuisi tulemaan helteitä, niin voisi tulla kuuma. Kaapissa näytti kyllä olevan tuuletin. Kadun ja junien äänet eivät haitanneet, kun ikkuna oli kiinni. Aamiainen oli jo suorastaan liian vaatimaton, mitään tuoretta ei ollut tarjolla. Päädyimme Nyhaveniin terassille brunssille, joka oli todella herkullinen (ja kallis).
