Travelodge Portland Airport - بورتلاند

The hotel was close to the airport. It was clean but the rooms were run down. The hallways dirty and dingy. Noisy doors. Very hard to rest at night.

Cons: Five strip clubs within a 5 block radius...toothless front desk staff (though friendly-they tried to convince me we were *not* in the ghetto?), raging domestic violence arguments heard through the walls, shady activity in the parking lot. Pros: clean towels and sheets, A/C, beds are ok. Don't count on the breakfast (stale bread or cereal) or the pool (tiny and full of moss).

We were pleasantly surprised by how nice this place was for the price. The staff was nice, rooms well kept. Beds were super comfy. I'd stay again.

I didn't like the service in the morn. Very poor

I would never stay here again.. Found hair on the sheets and was given an attitude when I asked for new sheets.. Bathroom towels had hairs...eeeewwww. Breakfast was old and expired.

Only good thing about this place was the location. Room was dirty missing amenities (both rooms we transferred). I know it was cheap but there's no pride taken in the maintenence of this facility. If they focused more on a few things I'm sure it would be nice little place.

First off, this hotel is not at the airport, it just happens to be on the same street as the airport, 82nd, known as being extremely seedy for good reason. This place is inhabited by meth addicts, and a lady of the evening approached our car in the parking lot to make sure we weren't in need of company. The proprietor, undoubtably a decent and hardworking man at the mercy of his terrible location, was insultingly incredulous that our I.D.'s were really ours and treated us with a general air of suspicion. The entrance to the hall of rooms was at the very end of the parking lot, around the side of the building, in a corner that would be just perfect for robbing someone. The whole building reeked of cigarette smoke and old food, and our room was visibly dirty, with cigarette burns in the comforter, a toilet that barely flushed, and a bathroom light that buzzed and flickered. Do yourself a favor and spend ten extra bucks to stay in a decent place.

Comntinental breakfast was extremely weak.

Go location, by the bus. got to the airport in 15 mins.

It was the perfect location for me. Hotel really needs to remodel but since I only used it for sleeping it was ok.

I thought it had all the things I needed...It was clean, had a refrigerator which I was not expecting. I would definitely recommend it to all...I just needed a bed and I got a great TV and it was perfect for the location of my class.

Granted, I booked the room because it was cheep, but I wasn't expecting it to be as bad as it was. The hotel is filthy and stinks. Everything is covered in decades worth of grime and dust which has never been properly cleaned. The wallpaper was pealing, even the baseboards were falling off the wall. The parking lot was strewn with junky furniture, presumably from the rooms they are renovating, but from the look of the place, the same furniture is likely to end up back in the room. In fact, I think next to a dumpster is where they found the furniture that was in my room. It's also VERY far from, well, anything. Downtown is at least 15 minutes away driving (that's if there's no traffic, which there always is), didn't even seem close to the airport. I would recommend finding another place, the few bucks you'll save booking a room here will not be worth your headaches.

owner was extremely helpful and friendly. breakfast was not impressive but this staff made up for it

IT WAS OK OVERALL. NEXT TIME I BOOK A HOTEL NEAR THE PDX AIRPORT I WOULD NOT BOOK HERE. THE PLACE IS KIND OF RUN DOWN.

The front desk person was not very friendly. He was actually rude, did not like him at all. We asked for a non-smoking room, because of my little brother's allergy problem and the room smelled like cigarettes and there was a lighter on the sofa that someone had forgotten from before. The pool was dirty ( it had toilet paper floating around). We have stayed before at a travelodge before and never had been so unsatisfied with the service they provide. We were really disappointed this time.

I am not usually one to care about how nice a hotel is, matter of fact as long as it has a bed, roof, and 4 walls I am good. This however was gross, I didn't even want to pull back the covers and slept in my cloths on top of the sheets and comforter out of fear of catching some kind of disease. From the moment you enter the premises you get the sense that you could rent a room by the hour if you know what I mean and can hear everything happening around you since the walls are as thin as toilet paper. I would never in my life stay here again and if I knew better I would have slept in my car instead.

In the bathroom the washwater flows on to the floor, in first used room! I have been overnighted 4 nights and possible only 2 breakfests! Needed more flexibility in breakfest system and conditions of foodproducts - very old mandarins!

My mom and I travel to Portland with Mr sick kids frequently. I will pay more next time so as to not be it such a scary neighborhood. It was cheap though. The breakfast was cereal and bread, and there was a sign on the juice maker that said please don't fill personal containers so everyone can have a little juice.

The hotel was dated but OK for my needs at the time.The TV did not work in the first room that I was assigned then the toilet did not work in the second. After that all was fine. The staff was good & VERY vigilant about the comings & goings of guests. It met my needs.

The hotel's guests were extremely loud late into the night. So we had a hard time getting rest for an early flight out the next morning. Also I feel it necessary to comment that we did not feel safe outside of our room. We were put in an end room near an outside door that was hidden from public view. Made us feel uncomfortable especially as we were leaving in the dark the next morning. There were several people hanging around at 4:30 in the morning. Nothing happened but we still were nervous as we left.

The place was a bit run-down, but I've stayed in much worse! The location is convenient as it's not too far from the airport, but it is in East Portland and the neighborhood was kind of sketchy. The owner was nice, but he had rules for staying there and he wouldn't allow visitors after 10 PM and warned me as such. Luckily, I was on business and just needed a place to sleep, but the fact that he tried to tell me what to do irked me. Overall, not a bad place to sleep, but not incredibly comfortable.

My stay was not a good one. I was very tired and i just get to sleep when i was awaken by the noise of the hotel manager and the police rapping on the door across from mine. It was crazy, he kept banging and banging! It was obvious tgey were gone or not answering. So i check out early to get to the airport on time. When i get to security i notice tge hotel manager didnt give me my ID back. Great! I called them and all they say is "we can mail it top you". No accomidations offered. Wow, i should of charged them to stay there.

its horrible. i didnt have toilet paper in my room. also just 2 towels and we were four in the room. when i went to ask for more towels the manager ask me how many people in the room when we just check in 2 hours ago and he saw my husband and my 2 kids. dont stay here UGLY SERVICE

This hotel is not family friendly, I highly recommend you do not stay here. It was definitely a cheap price, and I can see why. I am usually not very picky and I have never left a bad review, but people really need to be warned about this place. Although the front desk lady was nice, we did not feel safe for one minute. This was by far my worst experience choosing a hotel from hotels.com...

It was awful, police, fire and medical were there for about an hour and then left after dealing with tenats in the what seemed to be apartments on the pool side of the complex. The room was very basic and the table and chairs needed to be replaced, or should i say hold a drink on top of the table, the chairs were stainded and tattered, and the bathroom was ...well lets just say not good looking and in good shape. This motel is located off of 82nd and the hood area, so stay at your own risk, at least the doors lock some what. Oh and after all the emergency personal left a dective in a un-marked car sat in the parking lot for 20-30 min looking for the rest of the scum from the call to this property earlier. Personaly whitnessed several shady people and hookers doing business all night long on the property. So stay if thats your thing, but i will never be back, Horibale area and several seedy little businesses on every corner.

Overall I was somewhat satisfied with this hotel. Its located near several restaurants and stores. It's also just a quick drive away from the airport. The room was maintained, although not as well as you would like. Granted I stayed in a smoking room, the blankets and pillows were full of cigarette burns. They did offer breakfast before I got on a shuttle to the airport, which was decent. I was, however, woken up by what I thought were gunshots. It turns out the people in the adjacent apartment complex were shooting off fireworks at 3 am.

Other than carpet condition, everything was great, especially the staff. Very accomodated to my needs. Second time staying there. Will stay there again.

The only redeeming qualities I can think of are: The price was good, the beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the place smelled old and musty. The water in the faucet and the showers had to be run for at least a couple of minutes before the rust-color disappeared. The swimming pool was nothing more than a hole in the ground at the end of parking lot. Cigarette butts ALL over the place. Just a very old, poorly maintained hotel in a seedy part of town. For this particular trip, the price was right, but I will NOT be staying here again.

It was easy to find, curious staff, and clean. That is all I needed.

Don't bother. Run down, cheap unprofessional attempt at renovation of tired property. A bad paint job does not fix holes in the walls and grunge in the tiles. There are much better choices in the neighborhood for the same price. Took 45 minutes to get checked in and it was all my fault that the reservation was botched.

Very dated but newly remodeled. First room tv did not work. Breakfast was meager at best. Cannot complain about the rates.

This Travelodge had friendly staff. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

It isn't the Hilton but an awesome hotel for the cheap rate it offers! The owner/manager was friendly and the room was clean.

The Travelodge is conveniently located on Sandy Blvd and it's price will sure make us come back! Perfectly fine for what you pay. Even breakfast is included. The hallway smells a like smoke but the room was totally fine, even included a microwave. There was a coffee machine but no coffee in the room. Nothing to complain about! Great hut in the awesome city of Portland!
