Days Inn - Victoria On The Harbour - فيكتوريا

The housekeeping staff needs to pay special attention to the countertops (corners and backsplash,in bathrooms, vacuuming the carpets around and beside the bed, and beside and behind night tables. Not to mention the base of the toilet and behind it and bathroom floors. I used to do Housekeeping at Days Inn in Steinbach MB and this would never fly there!!

The hotel is conviently located directly across the street from the MV Coho terminal (ferry from Pt. Angeles, WA). The staff are courteous and efficient. Drawbacks: the bed is just a bit hard, and the plumbing is a bit noisy when used in adjacent rooms. Otherwise, a good place to stay.

Great value! Room was comfortable, clean, hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Excellent location, close to many attractions and free parking! Bathroom is a bit small but serves its purpose. Room was a bit too warm, even with the heat turned off which we found a bit odd. We had a great view of the inner harbour though. Overall we were very satisfied and would stay there again. If you're looking for an economical hotel, this one is worth checking out.

Our stay at the Days Inn -Victoria on the Harbour was great. The staff were really friendly and helpful The location is great The room felt a little crowded but other wise no complaints

Would recommend to others on the basis of being a very convenient location and not bad price (offseason rate in March)

We came in from Belleville St--smelled of beer, poor start. Hall carpets not clean or vaccuumed. Room spotless! :) Fridge and micro would be appreciated. Bed: firm but comforatble. Nice linens. :) Bathroom: clean, adequate for 1 person. Second morning: no hot water for shower; some/any compensation would have made that easier to take. Hot tub: great the first night, barely warm the next two, not good. Breakfast (included): good. Service at desk: good. Good room amenities: robes, iron and board Reasonable rates made is an OK deal overall.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful. I wouldn't want to stay there in summer though as there is no air conditioning.

Finding the hotel was a bit of a challenge, since the address on Belleville Street is fronted with a pub and restaurant, with the hotel entrance hidden between. No signage inside to lead one to the front desk. The more appropriate address would be on the street behind where the parking lot and prominent "Days Inn" sign and entry canopy are located. Check-in was easy. The coffin-sized elevator gave an unsettling lurge as it stopped at each floor. Room was neat, but had a musty odor. Too much furniture for the samll room. Few amenities in the bath. Bed, however, was comfortable. Free wi-fi internet service, but I never had more than 2 bars, so I gave it up as it took 30 minutes to do a five minute job. I wouldn't recommend.

Excellent value, great location right on the Harbour in Victoria. Bkst voucher provided for a Continental Breakfast with good coffee! Free parking another bonus. The room was quiet, the shower powerful and the bed quite comfortable. All in all a good experience and again, great value. 1 Block walk to the Legislative Assembly complex. The Dinner offerings in the Lounge were very tasty and once again well priced. 9 out 10 rating is not an exaggeration!

EXCEPT FOR THE ONE DAY THAT THE BED WAS NOT MADE AND ONE DAY THAT WE DID NOT GER FRESH GLASSES TO USE IT WAS A PERFECT STAY

enjoyed everything about my stay at this hotel...restraunt and lounge were great!!! Would stay here again!!!

The staff were gracious and gave us an upgrade to a room on the waterfront side, which accepted with hesitation because we thought the traffic noise would be louder there at night. The room was nice and had a wonderful view of the harbour, but the next time we will try a room at the back, as we had to shut our window in order to sleep, due to the traffic (we are admittedly light sleepers). Our rate included a continental breakfast coupon which we could also apply as a credit to a regular menu item. The food was delicious and very ample. The outdoor pool was closed for the winter but we did see several guests using the hot tub. The Victoria Athletic Club is next door - it has great facilities and is open to the public. We will stay here again.

It was a hop skip and a jump to the main drag. I loved my bay view and got to watch the ferry operation. The restaurant was ok. I was supposed to get credit for 2 continental breakfasts. Since it was only me the guy only gave me one credit so I had to pay for the balance. That's not what was explained to me upon check in. That was the only hiccup. No big deal I guess. I would stay there again.

Very convienient off the ferry. Front desk very pleasant, smiley and helpful. Sink in bathroom backed up first time we used it, but they moved us to an upgraded room/kitchenette which was nice of them. Bathrooms are very small, can hardly sit on the toilet without the door hitting your knees. Nice view of the harbour, sometimes a little noisey with the water/planes taking off, but could put up with that for the view. Nice and close, could walk to most places. Right beside the parliment building, and opposite the Empress hotel, pretty lit up at night.. Didn't eat in very much, but the one cooked breakfast we did eat was good and the continental breakfast good to get us off to a start in the mornings. Good value for money. Nice and clean. Free parking Would def recommend,.

Hotel is older and needs updating. No bath, only a very tiny shower. Luckily, I am not overweight. TV reception poor, as they have not updated to digital(at least that's what I was told when I complained) No fridge!!!!! All the other hotels I was in on Vancouver Island had a small fridge. Otherwise, it was central and clean. Free parking a definite plus.

Excellent hotel in great location

The hotel was conveniently located near all the main downtown attractions. Plus it was pet friendly (limits your choices in the area) and next to a grassy area to let you pet out and near Laurel Point Park for walking. Pull in free parking a bonus. However, the interior of the hotel is run down filthy carpets and mold in the shower. A little cleaning and it would have been a much more enjoyable stay.

Great location 2 doors down from the Parliament buildings and everything in walking distance. Rooms were not fancy but a good size and very clean. This hotel is a great value for the location.

When we arrived at 1:30 pm we could not check in as our room was not ready. Had to wait until 4pm. Its a Non-smoking hotel, but their smoking area was an ashtray at the back door, but there was no where to sit, no benches, nothing. The pillows were a very soft feather which went flat during the night. The room was very clean and they gave us two bottles of water every day, and one coffee pouch. extra coffee could be purchased at the front desk for $1.00 each. They did not replace the tea bags until asked. All in all it was a good hotel, but as a smoker I would choose a hotel with a smoking area next time.

horrible hotel for the price, bathroom wasn't cleaned and the maid wasn't there so the nice lady with a dress had to clean it! it just isn't acceptable.

This is a nice affordable hotel with a great location. It was a block from the ferry that we took from Seattle, and within a few blocks to downtown Victoria. They have a nice indoor/outdoor bar area and separate restaurant overlooking the harbour. Very clean and friendly staff! The bathroom was a bit small, but we weren't in the room all that much.

it was clean and confortable,but no air conditioning.was close to everything,no need to ride your car,staff were nice and restaurant was had great food.yes we would stay again!!

Great Location Need air conditioning, new beds, tv's etc. Major renovation needed, before I would stay there again.

Superb location right on the harbor next to all the attractions. Quiet. VERY nice bar and patio lounge overlooking the water. Parking is free but first come first served so don't leave in the evening. You wouldn't anyway.

no room for the 12 year old to sleep and we booked for the third person disapointed

The hotel was a great value. The location was perfect and all of the staff could not have been nicer. We would stay again and for sure recommend this hotel to others. The hotel next door was very nice too but cost three times as much.

Staff were very helpful and it is ideally situated

The best feature of the hotel is its location. Close to everything touristy. The room was clean and quiet. Swimming pool was refreshing on a hot day and the hot tub was bubbly. Nothing fancy, nothing special, room of a regular size, but it was handy, clean and everything worked. Also had a very nice bar downstairs.

Hotel staff were very friendly however there was no way to turn off the heat in the room. (July 2011)When I raised the issue with the front desk the house keeping staff member confirmed that the problem had been there for quite a long time. We were advised to run the fan provided however with the window open street noise was to much. Spend more money on a different hotel the bathroom was very small.

Got more than what I paid for. Room was clean with a nice big comfortable bed. The best thing however was the view of the harbour. Great weekend

From my room I was able to see the ships and the float planes arrive and depart which was indeed a beautiful sight. I took a walk along the harbour and took in the beautiful scenery plus we went shopping for soveneirs. Everything was right there.

Great location

This was the only hotel we stayed at during our vacation that we really disliked. It's old, badly maintained and the shower was moldy. The heating system was in disrepair and a haven for dust and dirt. The front reception staff were fairly helpful and the location was great (walking distance from most things including Victoria Clipper terminal) but that was all it had going for it. The bathroom was so small you could barely turn around in it and was up a (dangerous) step from the rest of the room. I'd recommend totally gutting this building and starting again. I've never stayed in a Days Inn hotel before and I will never stay in another one.

The Days Inn-Harbourside Victoria Terrific location,just park the car and walk to all attractions and shops. Hotel staff were very helpfull and courtous at all times. Full value for money.

Very good location with fisherman's wharf and the harbor within walking distance. Only problem is room is small, especially the bathroom. No air conditioning but unsure of what the high temperatures might get up to. Restaurant and bar , indoor swimming and liquor store all on the ground floor. Friendly front desk staff.

The room Was small and lacked air conditoning, on the second floor we looked out on a gravel roof instead of the ocean which we had requested,very disappointing

Conveniently located, helpful staff, bathroom cramped, toilet stuck and heater board was ripped off so you could see the piping. Otherwise fine.

The bathroom in our room was totally inadequate. We have never seen such a small and inconvenient bathroom in any hotel.

Reserved two rooms & requested adjourning rooms through hotels.com as well as by phone direct to the Day's Inn but told that may not be possible. Ended up with rooms on separate floors and the entire hallway length apart. To add insult to injury, one of the rooms had a door to the next room (obviously adjoining) and the guests in the ajoining room had not yet checked in. Otherwise this hotel has a fabulous location and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great location on the harbour and 2 doors along from BC legislature. Easy walking to downtown places of interest & restaurants. Service was OK, they forgot our coffee for the second night. Also there was a10k run the day we were leaving going right past the hotel & we were inside the perimeter which the press said could be a problem. The desk staff had no Idea and couldn't seem to find any information. One ice machine on the ground floor.
