I was there for one night. The room was very small but perfect for me since it was only for sleep. It is very close to the tube and to a seightseeing Big Bus stop! Lots of good restaurants near as well.

Very comfortable hotel. Rooms are small which is consistent with London hotels but very clean and comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful. Location is very close to The Tube, excellent for getting around London and on the Piccadilly Line so direct access to Heathrow as well. I would recommend the hotel and I would stay here again.

The hotel was great. We loved the rooms. No complaints in that regard. This was my third time staying at the Cromwell. The only problem I had this time was with the Internet. Wi-fi would not work in rooms as advertised. This was a problem for me as that I need a WiFi connection for work. I had to go to the hotel lobby to try to get a connection and the service was still rather spotty. Staff stated that it was a known problem. Hopefully this issue will soon be resolved or I might have to book somewhere else on my next stay in London.

Very clean rooms, Great location, but the beds were old and sagged in the middle

The Best Western Cromwell was clean, quiet, comfortable, and very convenient. I have stayed in Knightsbridge a few times & this is my favorite hotel. It is directly accross the street from the Gloucester Road tube station. The gym is small, but clean and modern. The room I had was small and in the basement, but it has been well updated and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this hotel

For an overnight business stay it was good. The room was small, but I will take a nice comfy bed over a big room any day for one night. Staff very friendly, will stay here again if I need to be in the area

Good location for tube, etc. well appointed but no Wi-Fi reception in our room, it only worked in the reaction area. Rooms very small and dark.

Not unusual for London but the rooms are tiny. Everything is clean and the staff is very helpful and polite. the Breakfast was very good and it's in a great location.

Good hotel close to museums, tube and Albert Hall. Small room but clean and perfectly adequate for our two night stay. Good breakfast. Would return.

Great location, clean room.... I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Europe, and this hotel room was SMALL even by European standards. The room was freezing cold when we arrived and didn't actually feel warm until the next morning even though the heater ran all night. We stayed two nights, and we asked for more towels on the second day and were met with reluctance, but other than that the staff was very helpful. Probably wouldn't stay again, as there are better, more inexpensive hotels in the same neighborhood (they were all unavailable on our travel days).

I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The standard room are v small and there are no baths (I requested one but I think there are v few rooms with baths and this makes sense because of the tiny bathrooms). On this occassion my room was very cold, the heating did not work and even with an extra blanket on the bed I was chilly through the night. This is shame as the hotel is in a great location for my work, but I would not stay here again. In addition, there is only one lift which takes forever each morning when everyone is using it. On the plus side this hotel has free WiFi which is handy.

The hotel is ideally situated very near a tube station with all the local amenities you could wish for. The hotel room was clean, tidy and very well presented, a pleasure in all respects.

Generally very good hotel, great location. Only disappointment was the advertised Wifi capability in the rooms. I was on the top floor and the signal was so bad could not make a connection. Only place for a really good connection was downstairs in the bar.

Great locale but hotel rooms now look dated, small and needs done up.

Right next to Gloucester tube station made getting around very convenient! Wifi was weak in the room so required a cable (provided by the front desk). Room service made the bed and changed towels only, which was fine. Really all you need but was frustrating to not get fresh mugs each day. Friendly staff, would stay again!

Fairly shocked to find I'd been assigned a basement room, but kept an open mind. The room never got warm, as there was a continuous damp draft, the carpet had large bumps underneath, which you trip over when walking on the floor, and several light bulbs were burned out. The room featured curtains over a fake window- basically white-spray-painted glass installed into a picture frame, to make one 'feel' as if there was a window. The rest of the hotel is fine, service was friendly, and the location is fantastic as it's right near the Glouster Road tube station.

Hotel room was small,but clever use of the space made it perfectly ok for one person overnight. Great location near to museums, shops, cafes and bars. Perfect position for transport links as 2 minutes from Gloucester Road tube station. Quiet as didnt hear any other guests. Staff friendly and hotel really clean. Would have been perfect except my room was ground floor and really cold. It was snowing but the heating just wasn't great and really noisey. Struggled to sleep with it on.The plumbing also meant that I could hear toilets being flushed and people showering in other rooms.

I have been to London many times and this was by far THE WORST experience ever. I was initially shown to a room with hair on the sheets, dried blood on a bathroom towel, fingerprints everywhere, and dirty walls. When I complained, I was shown to a new room with little apology; the staff seemed to think I was just being picky. Upon returning the next evening, when the outside air was -1 Celsius, I entered my room to find it at 8 degrees! When I reported the problem, I was asked if while I was away, I had left my extra room key in the slot just inside the door. I had not. I was told that someone should have informed me when I checked in to do so in order to have constant heat. When I pointed out that a system which requires a room key for lights (and in this case ALSO heat) in intended to conserve energy, and like most hotels guests take their key with them. I was met with a blank stare. So, at 2:00am, with no maintenance staff on call, I had to wait almost an hour to get the heat back on -- which is why they leave it on all the time. I asked the desk for a an herbal tea to warm me up; I was brought an unwrapped teabag in a bare hand and told to heat some water in my room. This hotel is poorly managed and, as an American, I assure you that it does NOT live up to the standard this U.S. franchise is known for. I urge anyone to consider other options... especially in winter.

Ideal for a weekend when you just need a bed for the night. Small room, but clean and comfotable - great shower room. Staff very helpful. We went early to leave our bags but could check into our rooms with no problem and we could leave our bags there the next day. Would stay here again if in hte area. Didn't have breakfast there so can't comment.

Our stay was only for 1 night. Had it been for longer, I would have had to request a room change. It was clean, it was just the location. Isolated down a corridor and around a corner, I thought it would be perfect (nobody walking past or slamming doors - but I was wrong. It was right next to a staff area and a cleaners cupboard. Also, as it was ground floor, there was a decked area outside the room, with a seat directly outside our window. Come morning, with staff change overs and cleaners, that tiny piece of corridor was so busy, with staff members slamming doors etc. I intended to treat myself to a lay in, but couldn't. Apart from that, the room was clean and comfortable (although a tad small), but for a one, possibly 2, night stay I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Kensington is my favorite part of London so this location was outstanding. The hotel was expensive (it is London). The room and the staff were nice. We were upgraded without request to a garden room. It would be a good room in nicer weather. It was REAL confusing to find the room. In fact we never came to our room the same way twice in two days! It involved some up 1/2 stairs, down 1/2 stairs, then up 1/2 stairs since the lift could not service this room. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay.

I was super impressed with how friendly the hotel staff was especially guest registration. As an ignorant American I booked a Double Room expecting it to be 2 beds but in UK Double means double bed not two beds. Fortunately the nice staff changed it. Thank you

The hotel was in a great location. In keeping with European standards, the room was small but comfortable. The halls and elevator were narrow but again very typical for Europe. The place was very clean and tidy. Our only complaint was the wifi. They advertised free wifi but the signal was terrible. It only worked in the reception/lounge area but not in the room. Even in the reception area, it worked spottily because their service under-served the demand.

We stayed at the Best Western for 3 nights when visiting London. Good location, very close to the London Underground. Room was small, but clean. TV blurry, but did not care because we were there to sight see. Elevator slow at times, but again just a minor detail. Would stay here again if rate was less expensive.

Very dissapointing. Will never stay at a Best Western again. This quality of a hotel I would expect at half the price. AP.

Single room.. up in 'attic' on 5th floor. Elevator only went to 4th! Room Very tiny. Sloped ceiling. High small window. Claustraphobic. Bathroom very nice...remodelled well. Wifi problems in room...to lobby. Very convenient but will not stay here in single again!!

The rooms are tiny!!! Yes, I agree, the staff are lovely, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable but this should not merit comment as it is what you should expect. Two people cannot negotiate round the room without one of you sitting on the bed (legs off the floor). You can't move at all if one of you sits on the chair at the desk. We took the coverlet off the bed and had to put it in the shower to get it out of the way as there was no where else to put it. The spare blanket, which was taking up valuable space, was put out on the landing!!! We reckon the room was about 10' x 9' (plus shower room). We were thankful that we were only staying one night.

Comfortable and well kept room. Hotel location ideal, by the Gloucester Road tube (line from Heathrow) in a vibrant neighbourhood. The only issue was the weak wi-fi reception both in the room and the public areas.

The room was small, but was very nice. We liked the small balcony off our room that looked out on the garden. It was really close to a tube station on the Piccadilly line, which is what we were aiming for.

The location was fantastic, the room extremely small (to be somewhat expected in Europe, but still small by European standards). The worst thing was their wifi which practically did not work most of the time. Also, VERY limited tv channels and no fridge in room... All in all an ok hotel.

The room we were given was extremely tiny. The bed was barely 4 foot wide - a double! The staff were polite but said they could move us if we were staying a second night - they knew we were not. The chair to the desk had to be moved out completely before you could sit down and then you had to shuffle back to the desk. We had to bend to avoid banging ourselves on the TV so little room to move. We left early the following morning spent a lot of money on an early train home and spoilt an otherwise good evening out at the Royal Albert Hall. We vow never to book a Best Western again.

Room was small but adequate - clean and functional but small and some shortcomings. We were unable to use the safe - all the furniture was jammed so closely together it wasn't possible to open the door. Bathroom clean but no soap or shampoo (there was a bottle on the wall but it was empty and remained so for the 3 nights of our stay). In summary, an adequate room for the money in a very convenient location next to a well connected tube station with good local amenities for coffee / breakfast and close to the south kensington museums.

The room was quite small, but that was of no concern. It was clean and the staff was wonderful. A surprise was a deck overlooking a small park -- quite unexpected as we didn't see anything about it in the online booking. Only 4-6 rooms had the deck and yet the charge wasn't unduly spendy. We would stay there again, definitely.

The first problem was a dangerous narrow staircase to the cellar, there was not enough room to carry your luggage beside you I had to let my luggage fall to the bottom on its own. We requested a room with two beds and got a room with one bed for myself and my adult daughter. The window did not open and it had bars on it. I would have never thought that somebody would try and make a motel room that small. After calling the reception we were moved to a nicer room upstairs that had two beds and enough space for our luggage if one of us put ours on the counter with the TV. This was the smallest room I've ever stayed in. On the bright side, it was clean and very close to the tube station.

The Cromwell was perfectly situated to all the sights and sounds of London. Walking distance to the So. Kensington museums, and easy access to all of London thru the Gloucester Road tube stop, less than a block away. We had a huge family room at the front of the hotel, which was so well sound-proofed we couldn't hear a peep from the street. Would highly recommend.
