Hotel Jules - باريس

The staffs were helpful, friendly, and room was kept clean, but our room (superior) was way too small. Bathroom was just enough to fit myself in, shower booth was only covered half with glass wall, so water splash wet the floor unless I am extremely careful. My normal size baggage didn't go thourgh the space between the bed and desk, and had to be lifted to set window side, where they have very narrow closet. It was located on the attic, so I had to bend to access to the closet door not to hit my head. I wish I could get room size when I was booking. Pictures don't tell actual size of the room.

The hotel painted the doors on the same day we arrived and did not mention it. The whole floor had paint fumes for several days. The location was very convenient and the service from the hotel staff was impeccable.

i couldn't think of a better place to stay. Wonderful little hotel. Great helpful staff, nice rooms.

Nice hotel but small rooms. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Nicely situated close to Le Opera and Galleries Lafaytte. Expensive breakfast. Better eat outside at the many nice cafes.

Not really a 4 star... The rooms are very small but clean and with an interesting design. Considering that you don't spend a lot of time in the room I would suggest this hotel! Perfect location - good price.

The good: location, room design, service The slight inconvenience: room size ( but when in Paris one doesn't spend as much time in the room) Would in fact will go back.

Great, central location and friendly staff. However, superior room no way on 4-star standard, 3 at best. Shower not working, rooms tiny,

Convenient location with some nice modern design features but felt like sleeping in a broom cupboard! Room was very dark (apart from the bathroom) and felt a little claustrophobic (mainly due to the lack of light). Friendly staff.

Young Irish Couple. We stayed here for 3 nights in August 2011. In brief: service-best i've experienced, went out their way to help us. Hotel - extremely clean, looks great, very modern and confortable. Bathroom was big for Paris, great power shower and instant hot water. The Bed could have been better but still only a minor detail. Overall i would happily recommend this hotel, location is good with metro stops a stones throw away. In conclusion when i return to Paris i will be staying there again.

The reason we choose Hotel Jules was its location. We wanted to be near the Opera and the Louvre. It was a little bit farther away than we thought. The hotel was charming, well kept, the staff was friendly and very helpful. I would rate the hotel 3 and half stars not four!

perfectly placed for easy walk from Gare du Nord, and for equally easy access to Boulevard Haussmann, the department stores and Opera. The hotel was small, clean, and well appointed. The staff were friendly and patient in allowing us to communicate in poor French! There are several good restaurants nearby, including the one across the road. Our room was spacious and v.comfortable and bright; the air conditioning was most efficient, but it was also lovely being able to open the french door and window, overlooking the street.

Great Location in Opera district. Easy to to walk to many sites such as rhe Louvre and D'Orsay museums. Great reastaraunts and shopping are also very close. Easy access from the Charles de Gaulle Airport using the Roissybus. Would definately stay here again next time we visit Paris

While visiting family in the UK, I decided to take a short trip to Paris. I arrived to the Hotel on Tuesday afternoon exhausted from my long journey. Prior to coming I had made sure to learn some French. However, I completely forgot every bit of French I had learned. Luckily, the staff members at the Hotel Jules were friendly and accommodating, I was greeted with smiles which was very reassuring. I had read that the hotels in Europe are small in comparison to the US. However, the room was a nice size for just one person, maybe even two. I was extremely happy with the beautiful views from my window. The location of the hotel is in a nice neighborhood, close to the Les Peletier station, and many shops. I spent that afternoon, walking around the neighborhood and experiencing Paris for the evening, the next day I spent sightseeing and travel around the city. I left the hotel mid-day on Thursday. Although I was only in Paris for a day, I thoroughly enjoy my stay at the Hotel Jules and would definitely stay there again.

Good hotel and location but had noise issues the first 2 nights

Great little hotel in the 9th. Funky neighbourhood with lots to do and see. Half way between Gare du Nord and L'Opera and close to two metro stations. Curtious staff and great breakfast buffet. I'll be going back again.

Our recent stay at the Hotel Jules was fantastic. We arrived rather early, and although our room wasn't ready the staff checked us in, took our bags and recommended a lovely restaurant for lunch which was close by until we could use our room. The room was a good size, nice and bright with french windows and a balcony. The ensuite included a bath and had a good power shower over one end. The hair dryer was actually powerful too! Location wise, we were really pleased with how central the hotel was (it was also within walking distance of the Eurostar terminal). It was close enough to be able to walk to most of the sights and to some nice disctricts such as Canal St Martin and Montmartre for some leisurely breakfasts. The room was cleaned daily and the staff were superb and very friendly and really topped off what was an excellent stay.

The Hotel Jules was conveniently located almost next to a metro stop which made getting around the city super easy. The hotel also wasn't very far from the Gallerie Lafayette and the Opera. There was a pretty good cafe across the street but no boulangeries nearby. The hotel itself was super nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and, of course, spoke English. Our room was small but sufficient and the added bonus of a small terrace really made it great (we were on the 3rd floor...there were no balconies above us)! There was also a bar downstairs that looked nice although I never actually had time to utilize it.

Softest bed that we've had in Europe over several countries. Room was a little small, but it's Paris, everything is cramped here, right?

Great hotel in Paris, was relatively easy to find considering we were travelling by the tube. There's a great restaurant just across the road which was open till late. We had a triple room which meant 2 single beds and a sofa bed but was all really comfy. A great hotel, would definately stay again if we are ever in Paris again.

This was a very nice small hotel in the 9th District. It was extremely close to two metro stops, which made getting around very easy. I was not as much a fan of this area as I was of the 6th District, where I stayed last year. The hotel staff were very nice, but some could have been more knowledgeable. My room was small, but had a fabulous balcony that overlooked the street.

Very happy with Hotel Jules, perfect location for us to explore Paris on foot. Probably a bit luxurious for our needs but we got a good deal by booking early. Very happy with our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Jules. We had a great corner room that slept 3 adults. The hotel staff helped us choose great restaurants and treated up like VIPs. The hotel is located very close to two metro stops. I prefer to be a little closer to Tour Eiffel and/or Notre Dame, but it is easy to enough to get around with the metro. I will definitely stay there again!

It is really difficult to find a nice hotel for an ok price in Paris so I think this is the place to go. The rooms are small but nicely decorated and its all charming.

within easy walking distance of gard du nord, comfy room though bathroom a bit cramped, very helpful and willing staff. Nothing too much for them

Lovely Hotel, clean, neat, nice staff, great location. Would definately recommend this hotel. The bed was the best part, so comfortable and the bedding was as soft and very high quality

We chose this hotel mainly due to its location. It is within walking distance of the Gard du Nord and the Metro is literally 200m from the Hotel making it easy to travel around the City. The rooms are small (aren't they all in France) but well appointed and clean. The breakfast was a bit mundane but there was plenty and the wait staff were excellent. I made the mistake of getting a beer (300ml) at the bar which cost me about 5 euro. There is a Carrefours about 20 metres away where you can buy 6 (500ml) cans for about the same price and have a beer in your room. I would definitely recommend this hotel, it ticks all the boxes without costing an arm and a leg (apart from the beer that is).

To start off with, the Hotel Jules is very conveniently located to 2 metro stations. (Le Peletier and Notre-Dame De-Lorette, which allows you to access 2 of the main metro lines for easy switching and getting around Paris.) Getting to Gare du Nord, the main train station at which the Eurostar from London arrives at, only takes 10 minutes by Metro from Le Peletier, and involves just one train change. There are lots of eating places along the street on which Hotel Jules is located, and there's a good place for crepes just about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel. (Exit hotel and turn right and keep walking, which is also how to get to Galleries LaFayette by foot) Galleries LaFayette is just a 10-15 minute walk away from the hotel, and that is where Opera is as well, and the Mac store, and a lot of other shopping and eating spots. The front-desk staff at the Hotel Jules are very helpful and knowledgeable of the good spots in Paris for various things. So if a club, or a nightspot, or a cabaret is your thing, they can make the recommendations from a local perspective and even help you to make the bookings to get there. Highly recommended and would stay there again when I visit Paris again in the future!

Hotel Jules was a very clean hotel. Not a bad walk from the train station. Close to many of the attractions. I would go back. Very friendly workers. Breakfast was not bad! Room was very clean, small but clean.

While the room was typically small, the service and location easily compensate. Great for a 3-day getaway. Although we didn't expect the slightly contrived hospitality one finds in America, especially in France, this hotel does go out of the way to be very friendly. Indeed, all of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It is also nearby many excellent bistros and cafes.

Jules is a bit hard to find at first. It is quite close to the La Primiere or something like that station on the #7 line. We came in on the TGV from Brussels and it is only a 8 Euro taxi ride which is the way we chose to go, to get there. As others have said, the hotel is almost completed with its renovation. It is trying for a modern art type approach. Nice looking with a touch of funky. The service was fine, maybe even good for Paris. The subway being about 50 meters away was quite nice. Opera was about 5 min walk. There are heaps of bars and restaurants across the street and through the back streets so a nice place to get a drink. There is a Carefour City Express store about 5 min walk away. We took full use and got our groceries and skipped the expensive breakfast at the hotel.

The rooms are pretty much tiny, but tidy service and modern design are rare find in Paris. Great location with at least 3 surrounding Metro stations.

Good value for money. Clean room, new facilities, nice window view, quiet, good location, helpful staff (most of them).

This little hotel has a great location! Close to a lot of tourist attractions and metro stations. The neighborhood seemed safe and it had plenty of good restaurants. All the staff members we interacted with were very nice and professional. Room & bathroom were pretty small, but clean, and offered the basic amenities. Would recommend to friends for a few nights in Paris.

Loved it here, small rooms, but very well appointed, nice staff great breakfast, and the Wifi is free even though on this site it says there is a fee. If you can get a good price it is a wonderful place to stay. I was traveling alone so the size of the room wasn't an issue but for two people it would be cozy ;-)
