Hotel Enterprize - ملبورن

I have always stayed here since about 15 years ago. It is very reasonable and location is so good, being a short walk to Crown Casino, Etihad Stadium and so much more.The accomodation is comfortable and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Rooms clean but are getting old, the foyer needs a good clean and improve the appearance of the foyer.

Great position as l used the train to get to the city hence, no worries about car parking.The staff are very friendly and enjoyed the fact that 11am is checkout time.

The hotel is overall pretty nice, it takes about 10min to walk to the city center and a free city tram stops just about 3min away. The room was clean and the staff very helpful. The only thing that we could complain about is the shower... It is hard to find the right heat and finally when you find it it only stays like it for a short period of time! Everything else was very nice.

The Hotel Enterprize was a very comfortable hotel in a great position. We were within walking distance of most things and the train/bus station is almost at the front door.

We stayed at the enterprise on the night of the 19th march in one of their courtyard rooms that had not been renovated and We were not very happy with the condition. It was shaby dirty and smelly. On our return we stayed in a superior courtyard room which was much better and were happy with the standard of the room. The Hotel could be better presented. I think the main entrance could do with a makeover. However the staff were pleasant and it served our needs.

A perfect little business or short shopping trip hotel, minutes from Southern Cross train station. If taking the airport bus in or out of town, the hotel is conveniently located to the airport bus service and also close enough to walk around the immediate shopping and business district. Affordable and perfectly fine amenities as well.

The best thing about my budget room at the Enterprize was having a comfortable chair in my room rather than a stool or a fold up hard thing. Otherwise it's perfectly adequate, has seen better days as they say and ,the public areas seem to usually need a clean. Very convenient for the sky bus run to Tullamarine & Southern Cross Station trams etc.

Carpets are very old and dirty. Window blinds do not close properly which makes one very uncomfortable. I could not step into the shower as it was unclean. Bed was unsteady and old. The whole feeling was 'awful'.

Conveniently located within easy walking of Southern Cross Station. Booking in/out was efficient and staff quite courteous- especially late at night. The room represents good value for money. The bed was comfortable and all other facilities up to expectations.

The room was perfectly clean , however, the room and its furnishings were very old. A good convenient place to stay however don't expect too much from the room.

The room was very comfortable with an excellent bed, modern TV, stylish bathroom. Very quiet throughout the night, which surprised me given the location. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Excellent value for the money.

Our room looked nothing like the room shown on line, still pople in travel tell me they never are.As soon as i got into room (in daylight i had to switch on 60watt light. We stepped back into the 70's,bathroom towels were clean.the lift we uesed was the type that you made sure you had mobile phone ,food,and water, to make sure you got to other end.

Good service! Was able to store my luggage for 8 days - for free - while hiking in the bush!! 2 min from Southern Cross Station and close to CBD and shops!!

The hotel is located a short walk along Spencer St from the Southern Cross Railway Station,which is where the excellent Skybus airport to city bus service arrives. Just a short walk further down Spencer St takes you to the Crowne entertainment centre along the riverside,where a good variety of Restaraunts are located. The delux room option is worth taking when booking this Hotel as the budget rooms are located at the rear of the hotel around an atrium making them a very noisy location,banging doors etc,echoing around.

We live in an outer Melbourne suburb and stayed in this hotel for one night only as we had a function to attend in the city. Very conveniently located.

Not bad for the price, very small rooms however. Staff were generally friendly and helpful.

Just prior to our arrival at hotel my wife fell and cut her head badly, on explaining this to reception staff there was no offer of assistance and I was left to struggle with luggage while my wife was left unattended in the reception area with blood streaming down her face in full view of all and still no assistance. On requesting receptionist to phone a taxi to take us to hospital, we were told there was a taxi rank nearby and once more left us to our own devices.(we were four hours in the emergency department of the hospital and my wife had six stitches put in her head wound.) Tht online advert said the hotel was newly refurbished, not the area I was in it was very tired with threadbare carpets throught and the room walls and bathroom tiles would benefit from a good wash down with hot soapy water the spars on the table and chairs need dusting and the carpet at the side of the fridge could do with vacuuming. Sorry not up to expectations.

Hotel is fine, location great although a little old. My room backed onto the courtyard and was not impressed when other guests decided to gather there. The noise generated was disturbing, and the service desk did speak to them. Not good when you need to get up early. The air con was not effective, and after a couple of warm days, just couldn't seem to cope. The adjacent restuarant, although not part of the hotel was very poor on service and I would not recommend it. Overall the location is good, I would not chooose to stay here unless I had a room away from the courtyard.

Excellent location for all activities, transport and shopping. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend to people visiting Melb

Dear future visitors to the Enterprize on Spencer, Melbourne. Just letting you know I found the room, staff and locality very suitable. My stay was comfortable and convenient to all transport and city amenities.

I will never stay at this hotel again. The staff decided to vacuum the corridors from 7am in the morning until check out. Not worth the money. Service is appalling.

Hotel is fairly old and looks a bit tired on arrival. However, our room on the fourth floor was in a new section and very good value for money. Strangely, no soap was provided but on enquiry at Reception we were given supplies of soap and champoo from stock they had at their disposal. Hotel suited us well for one night stay as we had a dinner engagement in top end of Collins street and it was easily reached by tram.

This is a great spot to stay if you want to do anything at the Casino, Southbank, Docklands, Southern cross station DFO, Convention Centre or the Tram car restuarant becase all those places are walking distance from here. It is clean comfortable and has a chinese restuarant opposite the checkin desk which is also open for breakke and very reasonably priced. Ive come up from Geelong a couple of times on the train and found it very convieniant and good value for miney :)

The room was covered with layer of dust as if no one stay for some time and room. wasn't clean before we checked in. Elevator has a stench, carpet is old and stained. the room smell of food as there is a restaurant below. and floor squeak.

Hotel is well appointed with large rooms. a large queen size bed each! A bit old fashioned as furnishings large dark wood but very adequate and exc. value

The service was really good, though the smell of the room was quite dissapointing. Yet, the hotel needs to be renovated a little bit. The location is really nice since it is opposite southern cross station.

Great location for downtown,and Southern Cross rail/bus station. Basic hotel nothing fancy

This hotel is in serious need of an upgrade and the prices charged dont match the quality. We used the carp park for one night and paid upfront however was charged for the second night and spent 30 minutes trying to argue it even though we had no car parked in the car park on the second night. Had to then provide proof of the oevercharging because they couldnt find a record of it. Not worth the effort and wont be staying here ever again regardless of what deal they have.

Location is perfect, across the road from southern cross station and walking distance to the crown. Hotel is a bit old, rooms arent all that modern and tv is a bit small but overall the beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious so thats a bonus.

friendly location to the City Centre with reasonable price.

I had a pleasant stay recently in the Hotel. The entry is substandard - but staff pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean and everything functioned well. The price reflects the premises and I would happily recommend the hotel to friends to stay on a budget in Melbourne. The parking was a bit steep at $25 - but comparable.

This hotel looks completely different in real life than it does online. The hotel is extremely dated and dirty......filthy. I asked to not stay there after looking at the room. The courtyard room I obtained was noisy as anyone speaking in courtyard you could hear. Spend a few extra dollars to get a comfortable room that might have been built in this era. Again, beware of this hotel if you are used to anything other than a hostel or homeless shelter!

I booked a discount rate for this hotel, not knowing I would end up in a courtyard room. Rooms that are attached to the normal hotel on the back side and give a Motel feeling. The furniture was worn down and worth to throw away. The tiles in the bathroom were partially broken, the shower hardly gave any water. When I entered the room the first time, the bathroom still had the utensils and waste from the previous guest in it! Walls were really thin, so I could here every single sound from the neighbors. Not only was the room really terrible to stay in, also the lobby and the entire hotel call for an overall make over. The rugs are pretty thin already, the ceiling needs a new layer of paint, etc. My recommendation: for the same amount of money, you can find much better places in that area of Melbourne.

this hotel is tiny the staff are rude and dnt speak very well english ur not allowed guest and the tv reception is just crap i would only recomend this hotel if u only wanna sleep if u wanna go out on the town do not stay here
