This hotel is perfect for an inexpensive one night stay. It isn't glamorous but it was quiet, reasonably priced and easy to access. The free breakfast was a nice touch. The best part was the friendly staff! Everyone was so helpful and nice.

The room was very clean, in a good location, had a nice breakfast, lovely pool and the air conditioner worked well and was relatively quiet

Beds n pillows were great. Room was clean but had a bit of a musty smell. Big pool and convenient drive distance to Sanibel or Fort Myers Beach. Breakfast could be improved with more options. Staff very friendly. Can be noisy in the morning as our room faced the carpark and the walls were thin. But in general, still a good hotel.

Was very Happy with the room and the friendliness of the staff. Especially the gentlemen the first nite. I believe his name was Gary. Kudos to the Nite guy. They had a beautiful pool but we did not use it. Nice choices on the breakfast bar. but go early i. She didnt want to refill after 8:30.WARNING: IF your going over to Ft Myers Beach this is the location you want. DO NOT STAY at the one on Center rd. Ghetto !!!!! Hotels.com had booked me there after I asked for the closes to the beach. MY Gps found this one and after 6 people later the reservation was fixed. I would recommend this hotel. Yes.

This was the perfect hotel to stay at to avoid the high prices in Sanibel.

I stay in this hotel often when I just want a home away from home breakfast is excellent the room is always clean and you can either hop to sanibel or hop to fort Myers beach. Excellent hotel and great rate

We had a good stay at this motel. Our first room smelled a little so they put us in a new room. Great customer service. There was a party in the pool area which made it a little hard to get to sleep the first night, but the second night there was no noise. The location is a great for a day trip to Sanibel island. Clean and comfortable. Good value, with breakfast included.

Last minute hotel,pleasantly surprised,huge pool with hot tub,beds and pillows very comfy:))nothing bad to say about it,waffles were good too:))),we will be looking for other la quintas for future triPS:)))

Convenient location for getting to both Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel/Captiva, good price, friendly staff. Breakfast was typical continental. Room was quiet- rarely heard other hotel patrons. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Both check in and check out were fast & pleasent. The room was very clean & neat with a small fridge, microwave, hair dryer & iron. The bed was very comfortable. A lot of towels and washclothes were in the bathroom. The only negatives were that the A/C fan was annoying and the bathtub drain was partially clogged. I brought these detailes to the attention of the main desk & the problem of the bathtub was fixed but hot the noisy fan. The free breakfast was excellent --- fresh fruit, cerales, bagels, waffles, etc. Definately if I need to work in this area again, I will stay at this hotel. The hotal has a pool, but I didn't go there.

worth the money. we will stay on the beach next time just so we dont have to have transportation//was very clean and staff was friendly most of time. the breakfast could have eggs,bacon or sausage, and donuts added and it would be really good. overall, it met our needs and was a good deal!

My husband & I spent the weekend there for our 12th anniversary. the staff was friendly, the hotel was clean & well maintained. it was situated close to everything we wanted to do. We got a great rate. The only problem was that we didn't have more time to stay!!!!!!!!!!

We totally enjoyed our stay, as this location was the closest possible to Sanibel Island, our favorite place in Florida. Almost within walking distance was a shopping center with our favorite grocery store for beverages and late night snacks. A factory outlet mall was directly across from the aforementioned shopping area on our way to Sanibel. We will stay here again on our next trip to Fort Myers Beach and sanibel Island.

It was very close to Sanibel Island. The staff was very friendly at both check-in and out. The poolside bar was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay here and will be back again. This is the cleanest and friendliest hotel I have stayed at through hotels.com.

We had a good time, the room was nice but the neighbors were a little noisy. The pool and hot tub were fantastic and the help were friendly. But the breakfast is something you might as well not even think about. The coffee is instant and bitter, the food was minimal and not very tasty. You could not even get a piece to toast that was toasted. I would think about staying except that without the breakfast, the room would be pricey.

I like the place, it was nice, I have been to much better places, but I cant complain the price was good and my granddaughter just loved the huge pool. All the hotel workers are super nice and friendly. I would return to this hotel.

We were a little worried about the great dane type dog that was held back by its owner every time someone went past as we went to our room. Had we realised it was a pet friendly place we probably wouldn't have booked (always worried about smells etc) however the rooms were lovely and the bed was great! There isn't too much around this hotel but as we were only using it as a stopover to Sanibel/Captiva we didn't mind. Would stay at another La Quinta if this is the standard bt would have to research the pet situation!

My wife and 2 teenagers stayed in early April. The location couldn't have been better with easy access to Sanibel/Captiva islands, Fort Meyers beach, and a local preserve -- just the things we wanted to experience. Beautiful sunsets at the reserve with good spring birding. The room could have used a table and at least 1 chair. We loved the pool. It's design made it a little challenging to swim laps when it was heavily used. Most people in the pool were generous and made appropriate space. the gardening was nice and made it feel all the more tropical. The room was clean although our 4 people in the room challenged the good help with our volume. The staff was accomodating, helped with the few small issues we had, and only a few times were so busy that we had to wait in a line. It would be easy to enhance the natural vegetation at the edge of the parking areas, even making spaces for sitting in the shade and watching the natural Florida life go by. We are likely to return.

The rooms were large, clean and the service was great. I will look to book La Quinta in the future

When we checked in our room smelled like smoke, the bathroom smelled like a sour dish rag. It turned out to be the shower curtain which was replaced 3 days into our stay! We didnt get maid service our first night either. The carpet was old and dirty. I don't think we would stay at this Hotel again.

Great location for our tour around the area. Staff was friendly and helpful as where to dine. Rooms were clean and comfy. We would stay there again.

Clean spacious rooms, great breakfast, perfect heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. We have enjoyed our stay. Hotel personnel very friendly. A place to return.

CONS: Room reeked of cigarette smoke, dirty air vents and carpet, stains on sofa, stains and hole in the mattress. Evening staff unable to move us or clean room. PROS: Breakfast was good. Pool area nice. Day time staff moved our room and provided a refund.

We were pleased with the location and convenience of the hotel. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was a pleasant experience and we would stay there again.

The location and room was very nice, but the room smelled terrible from cigar and/or cigarette smoke. My wife and I are both non-smokers, so the odor was terrible. Luckily the bed clothing didn't stink from the smoke, and we were able to overlook the smell after being in the room for awhile, but everytime we returned to the room the smoking odor was preesent.

Apparently 2 housekeepers quit the week we were there and hotel didn't make or clean our room until after 6 pm on 2 of the 3 days we were there. I emptied my own trash cans also. Bed had mold or some kind of stain on the actual matress! I was sitting in lobby after missing breakfast by 1 minute (didn't get to eat) listening to customer after customer complaining about one thing or another. If I paid around $50.00 a night I wouldn't be complaining but at over $100.00 a night, I feel this hotels owes me something back... as long as it's not a free night at their hotel.

Clean room great pillows Matresses need replacing please it was the only but major issue with our comfort. Best location if you plan to visit Sanibel Island.
