Days Inn - Pinole - بينول

Around the corner from a "strip-mall street" so shopping is very convenient, and the freeway is close as well.

The male manager of Days Inn was rude and refused to hear my concerns. Days Inn has falsified information regarding their check in time. My itinerary time was 12 pm but their check in time is 2pm. I had to call hotels.com, from my cell phone in order for the male manager to comply with the hotels.com scheduled time. When I checked in, I was rushed to fill out the paper work. They took a $55 deposit fee which is not posted anywhere; furthermore, they never printed out my confirmed reservation with hotels.com. I mentioned both these concerns but the manager insisted to speak while I tried to convey my concerns. It's obvious that manager lacks the ability to respect and hear out the concerns of women due to his choice of being more comfortable with specific cultural norms that are male chauvinist based.

Front desk staff was friendly and check in quick. This area also was adjacent to morning breakfast service and was neat and clean. Was not able to enjoy as left to early in morning. Free newspaper everyday. Room was very clean and well maintained with everything working that I used. Needs a few more TV channels to choose from. ALSO BEWARE! Make sure to ask if the room they are giving you is not underneath the workout/sauna room. When someone is using treadmill above you it sounds like floor is going to cave in ! Thankfully their workout didn't last long. Other than that no other complaints. Close to shopping and public transportation. Good value for your dollar. Would stay there again.

We found this motel to be fine for our needs - a couple of nights in the East Bay. Located up the hill from the freeway, yet quiet. Coffee in room, hair dryer, large refrigerator, clean bathroom, continental breakfast with juice and cereal. The towels were rough, but that's how I like them -- great for exfoliating the skin! Management was very helpful with all our requests.

The room looked good until the roaches started coming out stayed here a few times before but after this las stay I will never go back

We stayed at this hotel from Sept 4th to Sept 6th 2011, the room appeared to be clean enough, but the linen and towels were worn. After the 1st night there My wife woke up saying she felt like something bite her and was scratching here ankle, we noticed a bite on her ankle and arm, which was red and swelling but not alarmed just yet, thought it was a mosquitoes bite. the next day I had some bite marks and notified the cleaning crew who didn't speak English, however when we came back to the room, the linen was changed. The next morning when we woke up the bites were all over my wife legs and arms and some on here face, we notified management that that there was a problem. it has now been 4 days later and the bite marks are all over my and my wife's arms and back. Don't know if all rooms have a problem but room 119 sure did.

The location is close to shopping centers and restaurants along Fitzgerald Rd. The hotel is also located in a quiet area on Appian Rd. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I booked this under the "pet friendly" amenities but there's no pet's allowed. You need to change this misnomer.

The person checking you in was not friendly, in fact rude. Reservation included continental breakfast, but I went down at 7:05 am the office was not even open yet and no continental breakfast. As I had an appointment at UCSF I could not stay and wait. While the location was good and room clean, I don't think I will stay there again.

My room smelled like an Indian restaurant. The towels were clean but stained. There were no liners in the trash cans. The room was very loud from traffic and other guests. The hotel is convenient from the freeway but the neighborhood is not safe. No microwave in the room. Continental breakfast was cheerios, banannas and wonder bread. I saw a previous review said waffles?! This bare bones budget accomodations. I did not stay the second night of my reservation and slept on a futon at my cousin's house.

the man that checked me in was very rude. it made me not feel comfortable my entire stay. remote didnt work. windows didnt open. shower was clogged. i paid too much for such bad service.

Pinole is about 10 min. on the freeway north of Berkeley. The drive to San Francisco is quick except you have to wait and pay a toll to get into the city. Would be nice to stay in Berkeley which is a beautiful city with lots of eateries and shops to check out. You can take BART into San Francisco but its about 40 min. from Pinole. Drive is good but parking can be tough in the city. So: pay to cross bridge+parking meters (7days fyi). So the Motel is way up in this little town, looks fine when you pull in. Office is full of awards. The room was pretty bad. I guess it was clean enough but fairly old, run down, stinky and really small. The 2 beds barley fit with the little old tv and the low dresser/counter thing they all have. Bathroom is old but the actual shower and toilet were clean. Clean towels felt like sand paper. Nice large fridge. No microwave. Had wi-fi. I bought this last minute, wanting free parking, near the city, cheap. So, I can't complain; but to help others, this is the bottom rung of just-a-room-to-sleep-in. I really think you could find something nearby in Berkeley with parking, at least as good, for cheap. Then at least you could walk, or drive less, to do stuff when your not in the city.

We stayed one night and checked out three days early. The parking spaces for this inn are located on a very steep hill. Do to this, we were unable to safely unhook our motorcycle trailer and see the sites in the State of California. We were forced to cut our trip short and head back home. The carpet in the room felt oily and so did the standing surface in the shower. Shower curtain was moldy. Unsure if there were other issues as we arrived late in the evening and left the very next morning.

Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. Building is old, as were the towels, but room was clean and everything worked. I feel that i got my money's worth. The price was right plus free Internet (though slow) and continental breakfast. What's not to like?!

I stayed in Days Inns all up and down East coast,from Fl.to Maine last year for a 46 day vacation.All of the days in i stayed were fine.This one in Pinole was not room terrible.coffee cold in office in morning,very little to eat at 7 am when they open. Spoke to Manj.,he could care less went into back room.

This hotel was very clean and just right for a 4-night stay. It was also very quiet, too, and close to restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay.

EXCELLENT SERVICE, CLEAN ROOMS, COMFY BEDS AND BEDDING, WONDERFUL BREAKFAST WITH FRUIT AND WAFFLES EVEN...GREAT VALUE FOR THE AREA...OWNERS ARE KIND AND SOLICITOUS AND EVER PRESENT.

The staff were very nice. early check in went well. No elevator. Up to the 3rd floor. Still, when the fog lifted,we had a view of the bay. Which is what the clerk assured me, since I couldn't get a ground floor room. (they were still being cleaned) Only 1 towel,wash cloth,hand towel per person.They were pretty thin...Our floor needed vacuuming. The breakfast area was in front of the check in desk, but offered waffles,fruit,cereal etc. All in all, for the price,it was fine.

It was easy access from the highway and within 30 min drive of San Fransisco and Berkley. It was an affordable choice for a quick football weekend. The room was clean and what you would expect for the price. It is a little dated but things are in good repair. It is within walking distance of several eating places. It was a great place to crash after a long drive and then after a football game. Close enough to be convenient, and yet far enough to be away from the craziness of a larger city. It would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

WE HAVE BEEN STAYING AT THIS HOTEL SINCE OUR KIDS MOVED UP NORTH...THE LOCATION IS PERFECT. THE ROOMS ARE NO NONSENSE, CLEAN, COMFORTABLE. THE MANAGEMENT IS ALWAYS PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. BREAKFAST IS A BONUS. THANKS WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN.

The room was clean. The hotel manager was very nice. Locked my key in the room and manager made me a new one right away. Overall good experience for a low budget hotel.

Reasonable price for the room and service. Good location. Place for the whole family.

The man who manages this hotel knows the surrounding area well and was very helpful when the room phone would not connect to local cell prefixes (he let us dial from his fax machine in the lobby). This hotel location was chosen for its central location to the east side of SF Bay, great for a stopover like we did or for a bedroom while exploring Berkeley for a couple of days.

Stayed for one night. Arrived after 11:00 pm and check in was easy. Room was clean and comfortable. A small coffee maker and a small refrig were in the room. Basic soaps, shampoos and lotion were also provided in the room. I forgot my toothbrush, but the manager provided one at no charge. A good place to crash for the night, but not much else around the area. The Lobby breakfast in the morning was simple: make your own waffle, and muffins or bagels, some fruit and 2 choices of dry cereal and milk were available. This hotel took care of our basic needs (sleeping and eating).

The stay was nice enough, but I'm glad I keep up on my bank account. The hotel charged me when I checked in even though I had already payed through Hotels.com. Luckily the manager was able to credit my account, but I'll definitely be more wary the next time I pre-book.

This was an overall decent/good motel experience. It was well-priced, reasonably comfortable, and fairly close to our destinations (San Francisco and Napa Valley). The manager was friendly and helpful, and they had a nice little breakfast in the morning (coffee, tea, some fruit, cereal, and pound cake). Only negative was that the towels seemed a little old (with some small stains).

If pricing is important to you, then this is a nice choice. It is a very convenient location for all types of restaurants, some large retail stores, a grocery store and a gas/convenience store. Comfortable enough to come back to for a night's rest. Very near the highway but far enough away to eliminate traffic noise.

At first I was hesitant about staying at the hotel because of the bad reviews, however, after reading the management's responses I decided to give it a chance. It was an excellent pick for the price and location, close enough to attend UC Berkeley's graduation. The breakfast was also very good and a nice variety.

un servicio recomendable

Nous y sommes allés pour une nuit entre deux destinations. Cet hotel est très propre, confortable. Il était tout à fait adéquat pour un entre deux. Je n'ai vraiment rien à reprocher compte tenu du prix qui était , lors de notre visite, très très abordable. Le petit déjeuner compris était très basique....,mais je le recommande. très bon qualité-prix.
