Royal Plaza Hotel - لايك بوينا فيستا

I stayed in the traditional room. The beds seemed like extra long twin size. The bathtub had rust stains. There was an old box tv with basic cable. I didn't know there was a $10 per day parking charge until I checked in. The room itself was clean though. Location is pretty good too.

The room was great: beds comfy, great bathroom, nice view. The staff was terrible. Tried to vallet park the car but there was no vallet to be found, so asked the front desk and they were condisending and rude. Tried the next morning to order room service. Tried calling the number but no one ever answered, tried calling the front desk but they said they probably weren't taking orders anymore. It was before 9:00am. I wouldn't go back as hotels are a dime a dozen around that area.

Only problem was 1 of the two double beds was very uncomfortable and lumpy. One of us got a great sleep. Everything else was great!

The staff at the hotel was great!!! The rooms were perfect. Dinner at the restaurant was perfect but breakfast buffet not so much. I would stay here again on all my trips to Disney.

o.k. but I expected a different room. More like the one you advertize in your website. You should work on that so that guests like me won't be dissapointed!!

This hotel was a last minute booking for an overnight stay while visiting Disney Magic Kingdom. Staff was great and room was clean and comfortable. Only downside was a small maintenance issue. The tub and sink drains were clogged and drained very slow but on a positive note, the shower had the strongest water pressure I've ever felt. This was much appreciated after the long day at Disney.

Mice in hotel

Our hotel room was on 17 floors, and lots of noise from I-4 and others road trafic. It was an experience we never had before. Nice hotel but maybe staying at the different room ?. We cannot rate our stay, because of the noise at night all night, no sleep for 3 nights.

Beds were small, service was just ok. Tiki bar by pool was not in service. Towels at pool were very small. It was a decent hotel for the price, however for me I would have rather spent a bit more and stayed at a newer, nicer hotel with a better pool area. Old tv in the room with only a few channels and no free wifi. We asked for a fridge for the room and they brought us one which I liked.

We went during spring break when all the Disney hotels were very expensive, this was a very nice clean hotel with a a nice pool, close to the walking distance of the Downtown Disney and the grocery store. We had a bit of trouble with out Shower, we advised the front desk and they moved us into a bigger nicer room due to the trouble which wasnt even that much trouble.

Excellent service, excellent place

The staff was friendly and professional. Honestly, the hotel could use some updates, bit it served my family and I well while we visited Disney and Universal theme parks. The shuttles to and from the Disney parks were convenient and perfect. The proximity of the hotel to most of the attractions as well as restaurants, shopping, etc was ideal. My only real complaint about the accommodations is the sleeper sofa in the room had a large red stain on the mattress and it did not function properly. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay if you want to visit the areas many theme parks and attractions.

The Royal Plaza was a great place to stay for our week anniversary at Disney. Only small issues were sliding door would not close tightly and made street noises quit loud, and TV needs to be updated. At Checkout I tried to use my Hotel.com coupon for $25 credit and the day staff would not accept. The staff we dealt with upon arrival late night were exceptionally friendly and accomodating, I believe the gentlemans name was Hugo and he was wonderful. Could not have been nicer. Always a great attitude. If you choose to stay here DO NOT RENT a car. The transportation to the Disney properties were perfect and saved a ton in daily parking fees. Also there is an enterprise rental car in lobby if you need one for a day or two. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Hotel.

Everything was better than I expected. My only complaint was to get to the shuttle to the hotel from downtown disney, we were told to go to Planet Hollywood. We at at the T-Rex restaurant, walked all the way through Downtown Disney to Planet Hollywood, only to have to walk far out to the parking lot. We ended up closer to the restaurant we ate at, we could have walked a short distance through the parking lot.

We went for a weekend get away and we loved it!!! Very caring loving staff

We were disappointed from the moment of check in it took a long time. The person who finally checked us in was very kind and helpful. The bathroom shower curtain was very dirty and the sheets on the beds didn't seem clean they were very old looking and not fresh at all. Very disappointed because we have stayed at other hotels at the same area and those other hotels were very satisfactory.

Wonderful stay!!!! I Would stay there again in a heartbeat

When we booked we thought we would have shuttle service included to and from the hotel and the airport. This was at a charge. The building is older, but we were not there much. It was too cold to use the pool so we cannot rate. The restaurant did well with breakfast, but after hours dinner was awful. It was not well described and it was burnt.

tv in room is very small screen and not clear to use shower must step high over jacuzzi ledge and this is not good or safe for anyone with even slightest knee or hip problem

Don't stay at the Royal Plaza Hotel. The rooms are tiny, there is no lighting, especially in the bathroom, and the beds are terrible. We woke up every morning with sore backs (yes, only 30yrs old). The food was awful and the service was less than mediocre. We stayed at the Buena Vista Palace last year (right across the street) and felt like luxury. At the Royal Plaza, felt more like the Motel 6.

Great hotel, very friendly and helpful staff members. I was on vacation visiting Disney World and the location was super for gettting to and from via a shuttle bus that ran with very convenient times. Very close to nice dinning Downtown Disney for a wider variety of eating experiences. Access to the freeway is great also. My only negative was the room temperature control. Seemed the room would not settle at a very stable temperature. The air conditioner was either coming on too often making the room colder than desired or not often enough making the room very warm at times even in the middle of the night. There was a green dot on the room thermostat which I believed indicates optimal setting but that had little effect in trying to get the room to stay at a reasonably comfortable temperture during my four day stay. Slightly up and the room was too cold, slightly down or directly in line with the green dot and we woke up sweating. This was during February with relatively low outside temps... Overall the hotel was superb and I would stay there again should I visit the Orlando area.

This is my second stay at those hotel and it was awesome. It is convenient to restaurants, Disney parks and downtown Disney. I loved that everything was close by. Room service was great and coffee was provided in the room. Most resort hotels do not provide coffee in the rooms. Overall, my stay was terrific. I will stay again!

I was staying here for a conference at the Buena Vista Palace, and didn't want to stay at BVP because it was way out of my budget. This hotel is very nice on the outside, has a lot of nice amenities. The beds were comfortable, and there was a pull out couch in the room, so it was enough space for plenty of people in one room. However the toilet in the room was not working properly and even after it was 'fixed' the smell was awful for the rest of the stay. The worst part was the Internet. It's provided by an outside company, not the hotel. You pay $9.99 per day or for 48 hours, I can't remember which it was - but you can only use it on one device at a time! That was obnoxious. Even cheap motels have free or better Internet.

This is the 3rd time my son and I tayed here. It's very clean and real close to Dowtown Disney. They didn't have the room ready when we arrived so the gave us a free upgrade............but the room seemed to be a regular size room. I would reccomend it to others and have done so in the past/

The hotel was very nice, large bathroom, comfortable beds and was within walking distance from Downtown Disney. The only downside was the excessive charges for use of business center.

Staff were very nice and hospitable I booked a Hotel and asked for a room with the pool view, so I can watch my child swim from my room, and Hotel.com said that should be no problems. When I got to the room, I had a view of the parking lot, and front desk said they had nothing available at this time, which means they had no idea I requested the pool view room There is no Fridge (for extra $25 you can ask for it), no microwave in the room. TVs are small and old Parking $10 a day + tax (no free parking) Hotel restaurant breakfast was ok

I stayed at Royal Plaza for 3 nights. I stayed at the Lanai area. I like the size of my room, and the beds are so comfortable. The location is great. The hotel offers transportation to Disney areas, and is closed to many restaurants. Since I do not have a car, I will have to walk to the nearby Radisson to take shuttles to Universal Studios, but it is convenient. However, the air-con at room was annoying! It was super noisy, that I could not sleep if I had it on. The housekeeping wasn't doing a good job either. I could find hair in the washroom. The vending machine was also very over-priced. Anyways, I would recommend this hotel to my friends, but I will have to warn them about these aspects

This was a leisure getaway to celebrate a milestone birthday. The room was very comfortable and the customer service of the staff exceptional. We are breakfast in their cafe was excellent.

The cafe is horrible - they always seem to be understaffed and dont seem to care. They can't understand a simple order of cheerios and my fiancé asked for pancakes and got a waffle. The room was nice but nowhere near what is described on the website and no one ever seemed to be around to answer a question in a timely manner. All in all if you're looking for an over-priced room with below average service, this hotel is for you. Otherwise you're better off staying at a motel - at least there the price and reflects the service.

I just stayed here for the weekend on a business trip and didn't venture out much, but everytime I needed something, the staff was more than willing to help out. Their in-house restaurant had good food and a good variety of options.

We had a great time and plan on returning in March of this year to celebrate our granddaughters 5th birthday at sea world.

It was great. When we come back we will stay at this Hotel again. Everything was great.

Friendly, clean, great accomodations and so convenient to Disney and all the attractions. Highly recommend to anyone.

Beware of hidden fees... Internet, parking, and resort fees are not included in hotels.com price. I costs us extra daily to cover the "extras" which adds up over several days. The staff was not at all accommodating to our requests even though the hotel was half full. We were placed in a room that directly faced the interstate...very busy and loud! I will not stay again...much nicer places for your money....

Bathtub was with mildew and floor of the bathroom was not clean enough. Room was clean and blankets too.

Perfect for 3 adults travelling together. Nice size room 2 beds and a pullout. Very friendly staff. Great massage at spa!

I was really worried reading a lot of the reviews on here. But was pleasantly surprised at how nice it really all was. I was upgraded to a Deluxe Tower room and it was great. The topmost floors have their own elevator, so I didn't have to wait for the others, which was good because the hotel was full for NYE. It was walking distance to Downtown Disney which was great because I avoided the crazy traffic. I didn't eat in the hotel restaurants, but there are main chain places just up the street. The front desk was very nice and the pool area was clean and well kept. I walked down the hallway to the pool thru the "traditional rooms" the ceilings there looked very small and it seemed a lot more noisy than where I was, so I'm glad I didn't stay there. Honestly, I'm very persnickety about cleanliness and noise, and I enjoyed my stay there very much and would stay there again. The ten dollars a night for parking is a bit much and getting out of the gates was a pain, but that is really the only complaint I can make about the place.
