Delta Vancouver Suites Hotel - فانكوفر

We only stayed one night, April 30. When we pulled in someone came out to direct us where to park and where to go after registering. They called cabs for us. We were downtown and looking for a cab home and I called the hotel (on my speed dial) and they called one for us as we didn't have a number. They were all very nice.

The hotel is pretty close to skid row, and there was a homeless person camped right in front of the hotel overnight. The hotel facility was nice and modern. Parking was offsite, complicated to get to even though it was just across the alley. More info would be a help.

Overall, our stay at the Delta was only ok. The staff was very courteous and helpful, but when we got up to our room I was terribly disappointed with the layout. It was very strange. The two double beds were comfortable and clean (and I am very picky about bedding etc.) So they passed the test, but they were in a separate bedroom that was very dark; and the window looked out onto a dark, dreary space of 4 big buildings backing onto one another. Not courtyard; just dingy. The other area of the hotel room looked over West Hastings; not a view of anything really. It contained a small t.v. a desk, and two chairs. This room is more suited for a business person staying for business; not a leisure type vacation. We pretty much chose to do stuff all the time so that we didn't have to hang out in there. The underground parking isn't actually attached to the hotel. It is a public space that is across the ally. Not as secure as other hotels. The area is not great to walk around in. There were homeless people sleeping right outside the doors of the hotel. It definately made us nervous walking back from Rogers Centre in the evening. We were nice and close to Canada Place (only a two block short walk) during the day and only a short walk to Gas Town. All in all, we definately preferred our stay at the Sutton Place on Burrard; felt safer and more upscale.

2 bulb lights in the suite were not working. the parking is not on the W. Hastings and there is no sign or any person available to direct you. I parked the car in front of hotel and went inside to find out. when back in the car, the BC Public Transit Bus almost hit me by just a hairline!!

very convenient and safe location(Just stay away from W.Hasting area). Close to public transportation and inexpensive eating place. Very comfortable, clean, smoke free. The hotel workers are all very Cheerful, friendly and helpful. We stayed for 5 nights. Had a wonderful time. We are frequent travelers and always book through hotels.com. Our overall rating for this hotel is excellent!

The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to all popular Vancouver down-town attractions. Rooms and services are of expected quality from hotel this class. However, I do have a number of complaints: - "High-speed internet" was very slow. - The kettle in my room was broken - Breakfast choices (as provided in the Signature club lounge) were boring and the same for everyday. Overall, good hotel in general but don't keep your expectation too high.

The hotel was wonderful and the staff was very friendly and helpful - especially Donnie & Denise. The only things it didn't have that we look for were free wireless internet in the room and a free breakfast, but it was a wonderful stay.

Great location - you could walk to the water front, to transit, to restaurants, to shopping. Perfect spot to stay. You didn't need a car to get from the airport. You just jumped on the Canada Train and it took you right downtown, then only a 1 block walk to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and sincere.

This is a wonderful hotel. The service was tremendous and the location was perfect. It is just blocks from the harbour and Gastown. The restaurant in the hotel was outstanding.

Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. View from bedroom was AMAZING. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were small but a decent size for a downtown hotel. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and remembered us later in the day and the next day - a nice touch. Gastown, ferry terminal, underground all very close.

We only stayed in the hotel one night, as we were taking a cruise the following day. The ship did not leave until 5 PM the next day and the hotel very graciously kept our luggage for the day so we could explore Vancouver. We also arrived the day prior to the cruise at about 2:30 PM and the hotel was extremely nice and let us check in early and helped guide us around Vancouver and things to see, and places to eat. The hotel was VERY nice and the beds were VERY comfortable. Definitely a must stay place in this part of Vancouver!

At check-in, they set us up with different beds than we expected. We expected two double beds. They gave us a pull out sofa and a queen instead. Relatively uncomfortable. We didn't realize this at check in and once in the room it was too late. The "free wireless" is restricted to the modestly sized hotel lobby. It does NOT extend to the rooms.

We stayed in 6 hotels over 8 days on a road trip in Oregon, Washington and BC. The Delta was the best hotel value by far. It is in a great location, just across the street from the Lookout, and close to the seawall and Sea Bus. Our room was a two room suite with 2 queens and a pullout sofa bed in the living room. It was perfect for our 14-year-old son who wanted nothing to do with us:-) The only drawback is that the parking is a bit inconvenient and purportedly not safe for belongings. However, the location is so great, we didn't move our car for the 2 days we were there - we just walked...

We reserved a room on the SIgnature Club floor, the top-of-the-line rooms at this particular hotel, and weren't particularly blown away by the appearance or comfort of our room in comparison to the photos and amenities shown on the Delta website. The room was a lot smaller than expected, neither of us slept well at all on the lumpy, uncomfortable bedding, and complimentary wired Internet was painfully slow. On the plus side, the front desk and luggage staff were very friendly, the hotel is convenient to SkyTrain and buses, and we had a great view from the topmost (23rd) floor, but unfortunately these things don't mean much if you can't get a good night's sleep. Overall, we don't feel that the room was worth what we paid and probably wouldn't stay again if this is the best that this hotel has to offer. As a side note, for those who have complained about the location, be aware that while Vancouver is generally a very safe city, just like every city, there are areas to avoid. It is well-known to locals and frequent visitors that the part of East Hastings close to Chinatown is one of those areas. If you turn right when you walk outside the doors of the hotel and keep walking, you will quickly hit this part of Hastings. If you must head in this direction, it's best to walk up to Pender (or down to Water if you're headed to Gastown) instead, or better yet, turn left instead, walk up Seymour a block or two, and catch SkyTrain to your destination. This same advice would apply if you were to stay at any other Vancouver hotel - Vancouver is a city, so just be smart about where you walk.

Hotel and personnel SUPER GOOD. Don't eat at their restaurant. 1 1/2 hours between appetizer and entre and the food not good.

This hotel was better than I had expected. The staff was really nice and the rooms were great. Hotel Parking was a bit of a problem, as they only offer valet, but if you go on a weekend they recommend you park in a neighboring building which is cheaper. I would definitely stay there again. They were really nice and it was a great location.

Great location, huge room with seperate living area, clean and comfortable. The hotel definitely lived up to our expectations and whilst pricey, we were hard-pressed to find anything else in the city for less money, making this a great value stay for us.

I chose this hotel because of all the high marks it got through various travel sites I visit. The hotel was nice enough. But I wasn't wowed. The parking situation was very difficult. The parkade is in a separate building, and they close the elevator that connects the corridor between the two buildings at 10 pm. We checked in after 10 pm, so I had to navigate a long, difficult path to get from where I parked to the lobby of the hotel, and then from there up to my room. I didn't want to do the valet option due to the higher cost, and the fact that I had my dog with me. The room itself, while nice enough, was quite small. It seems they took a normal-sized hotel room and made a 'suite' out of it by running a half-wall through the middle of the room. Some might say it felt cozy. The room felt small and oddly bisected to me. The staff was very nice, very helpful - I have zero complaints there. My other complaint is the area in which the hotel is situated. Yes, it's right downtown, and I suppose that would be a plus for those who want to go out and hit the bars and such. But I was struck by how dirty everything was around the hotel. Lots of trash on the street, for instance. There was a lot of bar noise from several nightclubs near the hotel. After returning from nightly walks with my dog I felt the need to clean his paws off thoroughly. So. Would I recommend this hotel to others? If you want to be close to the bar life, then sure. If you don't have car then this would probably be a great choice. For me, I am going to look for future hotels that are in more quiet neighborhoods.

Wonderful cocktail hour and great breakfast! Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect.

Great room although we couldn't get the heat just right. Nice layout and private bedroom. Concierge was excellent. You have to try Joey Fortes restaurant! Parking was a little inconvenient but it always worked for us.

Delta Vancouver was an amazing hotel. The location was excellent for getting around Vancouver via tour bus, train and bus or walking. The staff was courteaous and well informed. They went out of their way to assist us in making our airport connection when it was time to depart. Upon arrival we had to wait due to a large party ahead of us, without a reservation. However, the hotel upgraded us to a lovely suite with a balcony for the inconvenience. They even gave us early check in! If you plan to stay there, get the suite. It was beautifully laid out, extremely comfortabel and the balcony was lovely for sitting out in the evening to relax. It also includes continental breakfast, evening hor'deorves, complimentary sodas, juices and bottled water, and tea and coffee. The hotel restaurant was lovely with friendly service. The Lookout Tower is directly across the street, and the hotel staff made us reservations for dinner there, which was exceptional. I give them 5 stars and would stay at any Delta available in the future.

We stayed 4 nights & were very impressed with the comfort, cleanliness & staff. Location was fantastic managed to walk everywhere & so handy for shops & places of interest. Bed was so comfortable & club lounge provided great breakfast & hors deurves. Only criticism would be the lack of a bar in the late evenings. Overall excellent a d staff were knowledgeable, helpful & so friendly.

We stayed here because of its proximity to the cruise ship pier. We were happy to see that it was within walking distance of Gastown, too. The hotel staff was very helpful and the room was clean and smartly decorated. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in the perfect location for downtown Vancouver. The room were very nice, spacious and clean. Having lost luggage on the flight in, we found the staff very friendly and extremely helpful. We would easily recommend this hotel to friends,

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was very convenient to public transportation, and popular sights. The only negative was the restaurant service/prices and food portion. Prices were very high for the quality and quantity of the food served. However, when we handed in our comment card to the front desk regarding the restaurant, they were very concerned and apologetic, and refunded our money for the meal. We would definately stay there again .

Paid 15 dollars a night extra for a higher room with a better view which was well worth it.

We chose the premier king suite, and when we arrived were pleased to learn we were given one of the corner suites with floor to ceiling glass windows. This was a two room suite, with a sliding door you could pull across. One room had a credenza with a TV, a desk with free internet access, and a chair for lounging. The other room had the king bed and a small dresser with another TV. The view was excellent. It is located in a downtown area, in a city with an active night life, so there were a few noises on Saturday night, but it tapered off by bed time and wasn't a problem. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the downtown Vancouver area. It is close to Robson Street and Gastown, and a short drive to Stanley Park. We saved a little money by self parking in the same garage the valet uses. It was unlimited in and out, but they lowered the gate at 10 PM. We were always back in time, but I believe there was an attendant if you required access after that time.

Vi har valgt dette hotellet to år på rad, godt fornøyd med service og fasiliteter.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist mit der skytrain vom Flughafen prima erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht mehr die neuesten, aber dennoch sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als Delta Privilege Member hat man das Internet kostenlos (beim check in ggf. einscchreiben oder nachfragen). Immer auf günstige Angebote achten, da Delta diese z. T. kurzfristig einstellt.

Ma chambre donnait sur la ruelle/parc en arrière de l'hotel et a ma grande satisfaction elle était très calme et silencieuse. L'hotel est bien situé tout près de Gastown et de la station du sky train et de la Canada Line, à 25 minute de train de l'aéroport. Tout près également du bord de mer et de la promenade vers Stanley Park (à voir). Excellent choix.

Gute Lage in Vancouver und angenehmer Empfang (mit Cookie!). Schlecht, dass Wireless Internet und Frühstück bei diesen Zimmerpreisen in diesem Hotel noch nicht enthalten sind. Hotel kann ich durchaus weiterempfehlen.

Gut, jedoch erwarten Sie nicht zu viel. 14 $ pro Tag für Internet und 33 $ pro Tag für das Parkhaus sind eindeutig zu viel.
