Hotel Condes De Barcelona - برشلونة

This place was perfect, everything was in walking distance. Staff was more than helpful and professional.

Needs to be refurnished.

We had three very nice nights at this hotel while staying in Barcelona. Safe neighborhood and easy to walk to numerous sites and close to the train/subway. On our last morning, we had no hot water. We called the front desk, and were told to wait a few minutes. We did so and after 30+ minutes or testing the water on and off, took cold showers. We noted this to the front desk upon checkout and we were told that they knew it was a problem with a few rooms around the one we were in and they were working on the issue. No apology, no phonecall while we were in the room offering to let us use another room for a shower, nothing, just a shrug of shoulders. Good experience until this point. A cold or luke warm shower if I was sharing a bathroom with others could be expected, but is unexceptable given the price and rating for this hotel.

Very good hotel, no bad surprises!

Both my husband and I travel a lot and we both could not stop talking about how amazing out night sleep was. The bed and the pillows were so comfortable.

our room & the hotel were exceptional, the roof top pool a definite plus...the view from the roof patio at night was astounding...great location with easy walk to all areas of Las Ramblas.. many choices for dining & sightseeing (Gaudi)... very helpful staff!

The hotel and the location are excellent. Although tdon't serve breakfast, right next door is a great breakfast spot/restaurant.

The hotel was everything we wanted and then some. Room was lovely, location was wonderful and the staff was very helpful.

Stylish, charming, clean, great location right near two Gaudi masterpiece buildings, near great tapas bars and stylish shopping; ten minute walk to Place de la Catalunya and Las Ramblas. Very friendly and accomodating. Would definitely return.

This hotel is right in the heart of Barcelona walking distance to La Rambla and the old city. Excellent location. The hotel itself is okay. We found the room to be a good size, but the condition of the bathroom was not that great. We were told that the TV would have 30 channels (which is important as my husband does not sleep much and needs his TV), but there were only 10 channels and only one was in English (a news channel). When we mentioned it to the front desk and asked if someone could fix it, or look at the TV, , we were met with an uninterested response to our complaint and it was never fixed. There is no ice machine on the floor (I think they want customers to get their drinks at their bar instead so no ice available for the rooms). Little details like this made our stay not so accommodating. Front Desk service really depended on who was working at the time. We found most people friendly but a few were not very helpful.

If I will visit Barcelona again, I will choose this hotel again. I highly recomend it because of its location, amenities and superior service. I am quite happy I selected this hotel during my vacation in Barcelona

This hotel has a great location on one of the major shopping/strolling strips. Room very pleasant. High point for us (no pun intended) was the roof top bar with a view towards the Sagrada Familia, with delicious tapas and cocktails available. The staff were excellent, there was even a guy shucking oysters one night. Highly recommended. Great start to a 7 week tour of Europe!

The first room smelled like dead fish. The second room had non-working airconditoning. The third room was OK. This four star hotel was not up to two star quality. The description of services provide by Hotels.com was not accurate. DO NOT SAY HERE!

The only problem that we had was that there was very little hot water for the morning shower. Besides that, the Hotel location, cleaniness and service was excellent. We definately would recommend this hotel

This is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, set amidst all the classy shops, on the doorstep of 2 excellent Gaudi buildings, walking distance from La Ramblas. All of the communal areas within the hotel were fantastic but I did feel that the room we stayed in looked a little tired, it could do with a bit of a revamp but clean and tidy, comfy beds. Overall great value for money.

This hotel has location, location, location. It is located between Gaudi's Casa Batllo and Casa Mila at 75 Passeig de Gracia. Lots of shops and restaurants around. Easy walking to Las Ramblas. Would definitely stay here again.

The Condes de Barcelona, located in the gilt-edged Eixample district across the street from Gaudi's extraordinary Casa Mila, has a true luxury presence. The reception is both personal and professional, and the rooms are attractively furnished and extremely comfortable, if small. The only problem -- possibly insoluble, given the location -- is audible street noise from the Passeig de Gracia. Our room was located on the first (in America, second) floor of the hotel, and was the closest to the corner of all others; had we been staying more than one night we would have requested a change, and I'd advise anyone making a reservation to ask for a room as far from that corner as possible.

Good place to stay. Wonderful rooftop bar, with great views. Outstanding service. Chef has a Michelin star.

The fabulous location and view of Casa Mila from the roof top bar made this hotel a joy to stay in. I would highly recommend the Conte de Barcelona . The only criticism I have is that on Friday evening after a long day of touring the city, we stopped at the roof top to relax ,enjoy a glass of wine,some tapas and the view,however were asked to move to a small table with uncomfortable bar stools in anticipation of the arrival of larger parties of people. At the time there were 3 larger sitting areas available. We choose to leave.

We stayed with our 3-year-old boy for 2 nights. Great neighborhood located on Gracia which I think is equevilent to New York's Fifth Ave. Room has heavy dust on the desk and bedside tables. Over all the stay was great. and don't forget to check out the rooftop on both old building and new building. It has such great view.

Great hotel, wonderful staff. Very well situated in Barcelona. Great rooms (well mine was). Only one thing proved a damper....they have a hefty charge for WiFi service. I would stay there again....but use the free WiFi at the cafe across the street

The hotel is well placed to see most of the sights in town. There is a hop on and hop off bus close to the hotel for sightseeing. The hotel has a roof top cafe/bar and pool/hot tub and sun deck that has a wonderful view of the city. It has its own restaurant on the ground floor. The new remodel rooms are very nice and has 3 elevators to the floors. The staff was helpfull when needed. The hotel is in the business district of Barcelona so you can walk to a lot of sites like the Gaudi Museums only a couple of blocks away. And it is in the high end of town where a lot of well know designers have their stores. 4 Blocks away is a Flaminco Show/Dinner Show.

You could use this title to define all of Barcelona! An adorable place to visit but overall very expensive. Our room in the Hotel Condes De Barcelona was large and extremely ultra Danish/Swedish modern. I thought it too sterile but my wife liked it. The hotel is located in the center of town, with easy access to public transportation. Don't eat in the restaurant! Their prices were astronomical! Walk a half- to 2 blocks in any direction for affordable tapas.

Give yourself a treat and stay at the Condes, perfect location in the heart of Barcelona.

Very stylish room, very comfortable. In the heart of the best neighborhood. Streetfront rooms can be a bit noisy from traffic. We liked everything about it (stayed 3 nights), would happily stay again.

We had a family room that was actually two adjoining rooms. The rooms were very large. Our rooms overlooked the Gaudi's Casa Mila.

We stayed at this Hotel 1 night before going on a cruise. We were very satisfied with everything about the Hotel. The location is great almost everything we needed was within walking distance. The Desk clerk was very helful ,spoke english and even let us heve a late check out ( 2hrs)

Outstanding service, the mangement of this hotel makes you feel special, and at home. Traveling to europe for the first time I was a little afraid, and did not know what to expect.But the mangement made you feel right at home. The room was large, clean, the air condition worked great. ( very inportant when traveling in July) I would strongly recommend this hotel. Again thank you Condes De Barcelona and to the general managers for making this part of our vacation a very special one.

Got a recommendation for this hotel and it definitely met our expectations! And we got a great deal! Good location, fairly close to two metro stops.

The room was clean and the hotel in a good location but they have more than one building and you may end up crossing busy streets with your luggage to get to the correct building. The breakfast buffet ended up being very expensive and the price was not disclosed ahead of time. WiFi access was also pricey which I never understand with upscale, expensive hotels. I can get free WiFi at a Comfort Inn for less than a third of the room rate.

Very spacious and clean rooms. bathrooms were the largest I ever seen. Only issue was the bellman. we took a cab from the cruise ship and the price was double what it should have been. I asked for bellman's assistance in discussing it with the taxi driver and he was reluctant. Only after the cabbie drove away, did he seem outraged. Could have been more helpful.
