Very clean and traditional. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that has been in NYC hotels with little room. The accomodations has plenty of space including fridge and microwave.

Very comfortable hotel that was conviently located to Times Square.

Great location, but badly in need of a remodel. This hotel does allow the traveler on a budget a place to stay. I would probably spend more and get something a little nicer next time.

Front rooms facing street are better quality but a little noisy. Back sectionis quieter but far less quality

Hotel was a little dated but clean and well kept. Free parking was on site. Location was excellent just a short walk thru a decent area to times square

Excellent overnight stay! Convenient location, easy check-inn...and great rate for NYC (including free parking, a rarity in NYC!) Highly recommended (especially at the rate I received...lol)

Good Value for the money we paid don't want to talk it up too much because I may not be able to get a room there when I go back. This was our second stay at Travel Inn and will book there again.

My family and I had a wonderful time in this hotel we loved it.

The Hotel was well maintained with a friendly and responsive staff. The room was very comfortable and had a new refi, microwave and flat screen TV. I would stay there again.

We recently stayed at the Travel Inn in NYC. It is an older hotel, but it has free parking and is in a very convenient location. Compared to other hotels it is not fancy at all, but let's be honest, if you are in NYC you are out and about all day and most of the night anyways. I know where we'll be staying next time.

5 minute walk from time square & metro station. Parking is included! Excellent location & amenities for the price.

Not at all happy with this hotel. We found the people working the front desk to be slightly rude and not at all helpful. To get to our elevators we had to go in the parking garage. We left our bags with security when we got there but didn't even need our ticket to retrieve our bags. The train ran directly across from our hotel and we felt the vibration and it sounded like it was coming straight through our room. Above all was the rudeness of the front desk. i would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I've been to this hotel a dozen times and it's almost always a good experience. This last trip was fine except for the noise. The room must have been close to and air conditioning system or something. Other than that I would definitly use this hotel again.

I stayed for 1 night pre-cruise. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. I LOVED the free parking. Very close to cruise port (10 minutes drive) It was an easy walk to times square and other major attractions. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in NYC!

Room was not equipped with microwave and fridge, and it should have been. Too cold could not control heat. Room was small and there was no dresser to store clothes in. Our room was located on the outside of the hotel near pool area.

Wow, what a find! Reasonable rates, sparkling clean and comfortable too. Friendly staff. Convenient location near the theater district and only a few subway stops away from the Chelsea art scene.

Nice hotel, nothing fancy but nice for the price and location. Only complaint was the room temperature. We were there during an unusually warm march and the heat was on. We could not adjust it and the the windows opened up into a hallway so the room was a little uncomfortable. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay. Very nice front desk staff. Would stay there again. I just might bring a fan next time : )

The hotel was built in the 60s but we knew this. The location was fantastic for us. The room was quiet. T he hotel was extremely clean. The room was old but very clean.bathroom was spotless. The free parking was incredible.The staff were helpful. There was a diner attached to the hotel which was handy for breakfast. Opposite is a huge police precinct so the area is well policed. Nothing fancy but great value.

Stayed at Travel Inn for a show at the Beacon Theatre. Good location and worth the price.

One of the few hotels with FREE parking in NYC and the staff was very nice about allowing me to leave my car for a few extra hours after check-out while I continued to tour the city with my wife. Considering how close it is to Times Square, the rate is very affordable, too! It's a little bit older than other hotels and the bathrooms are a little small, but overall a GREAT option. I've found my favorite hotel in NYC and plan to return whenever I travel there, especially if I have to drive my own car.

I was happy with the hotel, especially for the money I paid. I think we had a room next to the laundry or loud elevator shafts though, as there was continuous noises coming from the wall and ceiling, which made sleeping difficult. I would think most rooms are quieter. It was nice to have parking as well!

Bsically it's a 50s style motel in midtown. Pictures on site are VERY flattering and don't really represent condition. Room supposed to be non-smoking but it wreaked of stale cigarettes plus there was an ash tray in the room. I don't recommend this hotel and would never stay here again.

I was traveling alone with my children and looking for a safe location at an affordable rate. The lacation was great! We felt safe always. We were a short walk for all mojor attrations. The rooms were large and clean and the staff was helpfull. There is a CVS right across the street for any of little things you may need and it's only a couple of block from the transet center where you can hop a train/bus or subway anywhere you need to go. Did I mention the restraunts!? It's Hells Kitchen, no better place to eat! ;)

Highly recommended this hotel for young couples with vehicle. Only 10-15 mins of walking from Time Square area. Cleanliness is better than we expected. Privated indoor parking was awesome. Best deal I could find in NYC with parking!! I would definitely book this hotel again for my next visit!!! Like X 10000.

The hotel itself was clean and room was large enough for the 4 of us. The only issue we had was my son found a receipt on the floor for CVS the maid missed, other than that it was clean, BUG FREE and the diner downstairs had great coffee. Close to everything and the parking was awesum. Wife and I are planning to go back kid free and enjoy this hotel again

Travel Inn Hotel was a nice place to stay. The rates were reasonable and parking was included. I liked that is was walking distance to Broadway. Rooms were good size, bathroom was a bit small, not much room for bathroom accesories, but very clean. I would recommend this hotel, but ask for a room in the back of the hotel. We had one in the front and there was too much traffic noise that kept us up at night.

We asked managment to look into a change for our hotel room and have never been answered more rudely or with more disregard than we were at the travel inn. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed with the un professional manner in which our "complaint" was handled. That being said, the hotels location was great & free parking was wonderful. Our hotel room was very small but very clean. The only complaint we have is that our room was actually facing the pool and on an outdoor balcony.The room door was not insulated properly and therefore the cold would come in from the bottom and side of the door, this made the room very cold especially at night. Other than our unfortunate dispute this hotel was perfect for a week end in NY.

Reminded me of an old Holiday Inn. The room for the price was excellent. Centrally located with easy and FREE parking. Parking garage was safe and secure and easy to access. Although the internet did not work at first, the management fixed the problem quickly. If you are looking for modern and luxurious amenities, then this is not the place. If you are looking for a nice place at a good price then I highly recommend the place. Staff was freindly and helpful at the front desk.

i like the location and price, 10 on my book. i will be coming back in the future times.

It's a small cheap and cheerful hotel not too far from Times Squares, Porth Authority Bus Station and even closer to Hells Kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms had everything you would need. I particularly liked the High Def Flat screen TV along with fridge and microwave. The decor of the hotel is a little dated but that wouldn't deter me from staying there again. Room service wasn't the best as they order form outside but still it was better then none at all. Over all I was happy with my stay there and I found it a comfortable safe place to lay my head down each night.

We had a great visit. Being from North Carolina we took a chance on this hotel and will definitely return. We saved a bundle with their free parking. When we checked out they let us leave our car in the lot while we went down town. The best and friendliest staff.

Clean, comfortable, and no noise problems on the fifth floor. Staff was helpful and courteous. Nice location but not exactly by Toys R Us as was mentioned. Close to theatre and Hells kitchen. Would stay again.

Clean & Comfortable Room. Prompt service. Convenient location, if driving in. Good room rates (including parking).

The only complaint I have about this wonderful, economic and convenient hotel is that the rooms are so dreadfully hot at night. One needs the window open to keep from roasting!

I stay at this hotel every year when we have a convention at the Javits. It is a quick walk from there and has free, safe, indoor parking - that alone saves you about $35 per night. And, of course, the room rate is always really cheap if you book through hotels.com. You can walk to Times Square from there in about 10 minutes. I think they've done some renovating to the rooms because it seemed like the bedspreads were new and the carpets too. It's very clean and quiet which are two of the most important things to me in a hotel. No bells and whistles, but that's not why we stay here anyway.

In my opinion this place is the best kept secret in NYC. Great Location, reasonable price, parking.

The free parking, central location, and great price (on special) made this hotel stay very worthwhile. This being New York, it was easy to overlook issues that would have been more problematic anywhere else. The room locations are a bit strange, especially in the winter. Some rooms are on interior corridors like regular hotel rooms. Others, such as the one I was in, are along an outside gallery around the central courtyard and swimming pool, like a 1960's motel. These rooms are quite noisy whenever anyone walks by. I was also near the elevator, which clanked all night long. It appeared that someone had checked in, then perhaps switched rooms, as a towel and soap had been used prior to my arrival. I also found a sock under my bed. However, arriving at night after a long drive, I was far too tired to care. Contrary to the Hotels.com descriptions, none of the smaller rooms have a microwave or mini fridge. This was a bit of an inconvenience as I had brought some snacks. There are also no coffee makers in any of the rooms. The hotel is located on 42nd street, within walking distance to nearly everything. The crosstown bus is on the front doorstep. We were also able to use our car, because the garage allows you to drive in and out at will. This allowed us to take elderly relatives on driving tours when they were too tired to walk or use the bus. I cannot over-emphasize the convenience of this parking bonus. In conclusion, this hotel was a great bargain, due to its location and parking. The rest was easy to overlook. In New York you don't spend much time a hotel room, and by the end of the day you are too tired to hear the noise... I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

We got a great price at the last minute on this little hotel in Hell's Kitchen. It is within walking distance of the subway and Times Square. It is clean and comfortable. I requested a room overlooking the pool, but it was too cold in there for me, and the staff quickly moved us to another room. They put our bags in security while we went sight-seeing, and they have 24 hour room service that was actually really reasonably priced. We split chicken fingers, fries and a salad for about $20! Not bad at all for NYC! I will definitely stay there again for short trips into the city.

So, the hotel is not a 4 star hotel. If that's what you're looking for - go somewhere else. But, if you want a basic, clean room that still has a tv/cable in a great location - you cannot beat this hotel. Amazing location with FREE parking!!!
