Renaissance Toronto Downtown Hotel - تورونتو

I am sure there are nicer rooms at this hotel, however we were given one on the first floor with a view of the car park area. The room is in desperate need of upgrades. I will never book at this hotel again.

The hotel was EXCELLENT for the Blue Jays Game. The dinning area where you can watch the game is Awesome. We did not get to watch the night game but we had breakfast there and watched batting practice for the afternoon game. The hotel is also a short walk to Front Street where there are a lot of restaurants. It is also attached to the CNN Tower. It is a short drive to the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Excellent! Our room overlooked the stadium floor and we could watch the game from there! Room was clean and comfortable

My husband and I went to Toronto to see the Red Sox play the Blue Jays and what a great hotel! You can eat and watch the game. You have to make reservation for the actual game but we ate breakfast and watched batting practice. The breakfast buffet was excellent, a little pricey but Toronto on the whole was a little expensive. We were literally steps away from the stadium and the CNN tower and a very short walk to Front Street where there was a selection of hotels, We did drive to the Hockey Hall of Fame which was awesome but parking exceeded NYC rates.

Perfect location. I attended a hair show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and enjoyed how close the hotel was to the convention centre and CN Tower. The room was beautiful and clean but the service was only mediocre.

I was attending an event at the conference centre. This hotel was definitely the best value, and very convenient for this event. My only problem with the hotel was parking. There was no info on the website. When I arrived, I was told I could get a map to the parking garage (!) or use valet parking. After a long drive, I couldn't face it, so opted for the more expensive valet parking! Also my room phone didn't work, which I discovered when trying to retrieve the car, so that took a long time. Overall, a pretty good hotel.

The hotel staff were very kind and accommodating, unfortunately the quality of our sleep was horrible. There was music and events going on inside the dome before 8am in the morning and it was 100% impossible to sleep through. That ruined the experience for my boyfriend and I.

The stay was great and I would recommend this hotel to anybody with a family Lots to do and see

Was a great night stay and was upgraded for free to a room with a view into the SKYDOME.... Yes the Skydome I refuse to call it anything else ... :) The lobby was really modern and sleek looking but you can tell the rooms have not been touched since the placed opened in 1989.

Nice comfortable hotel, close to lots of downtown attractions. Although it is getting a bit dated, it was very clean and comfortable. Aveda products were a nice surprise.

My friends book direct with the hotel and got a room with a sitting room and two tvs. I booked with Hotel.com and got a room facing inside overlooking the stadium which at this time of year there was nothing to see except maintenance crew workers who by the way work 24 hours as I was waken at 3am by them also the room had a exhaust smell from the equipment working in the stadium . My room was long and small with enough room for a bed. My friends and I both payed the same price.

I have stayed at this particular hotel one to two times a year for the last 6 years and every time its a pleasure. Keep up the good work.

The rooms were very spacious and clean and the hotel was close to many sites. Our room was quite a walk around from the elevators and the stairwell with the exit sign that was near our room led to a fire exit so we walked back up two flights and all the way around the dome to the elevators to get down. The pool area was beautiful and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.

We had an excellant time, however for the price of the room we found it not to be the best. Bedss were cozy but there was a smell in our room and the bathroom wasn't the best. Older room and not renovated like I was told it would be. I also realized I booked through an american site and would have liked the woman on the phone to tell me that.

overall the hotel/room was fine and a great location to all downtown attractions. the decor and style is pretty dated -- looks the same as it did 15 years ago when i stayed there. the hotel needs to to update as far a wifi availability to be sure, and it should be included in price of our king suite instead of the $12 per day to use it. having brought our 2 kids the pull out sofa in the king suite was atrocious. the mattress was completely unacceptable -- there was very little padding covering the springs -- kids chose to sleep on the floor. need at least to offer a foam mattress to put on top of pull out. room service was great and the pool and gym lovely.

Got a room behind closest to elevators. Did not get any sleep for first night. Asked for room transfer - took me 5 calls to front desk before help. Finally got transferred - but with an expression of snide attitude from hotel management - they put us in the room FARTHEST end of the building from elevators (a good 3 min. walk from elevators if you look at layout of hotel plan). All we wanted was a room a bit further from elevators so we don't hear it all night. Then on second night, our nextdoor room was a bunch of hoodlums partying all night - we couldn't wait to get out the next morning and only to find beer cans left at our doorstep from nextdoor. This hotel was so disappointing - a dying place like the Rogers centre (skydome).

We visited with our family and had a grat stay!! We had a room overlooking the skydome (very neat but no event) and the pool was great for the kids!! Very spacious room and very clean!! The location is great for the CN Tower and Skydome and we would stay again.

Booked hotel for Deadmau5 concert, It was the best decision ever. Check-in was fast and they dedicated the first 4 floor to Deadmau5, so not to bother the other guests, so smart! Checkout wasn't until 12, They had police to check hotel wristbands to prevent an unwanted events. Room was beautiful huge and bed was extremely comfortable. Checkout was a breeze with no wait. Will not hesitate to book again.

The Internet is quite expensive if you require to have it.... We had a room overlooking the baseball field which was an excellent view. The price was very reasonable overall. Very close to the main attractions including the subway and other public transit. A very reasonable cab fare to and from the hotel via suburban or town car. Not much else to mention. Very satisfied over all! Would defiantly stay again!

We arrived early to the hotel and our room was ready. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite without an additional charge and our room included breakfast. We ordered room service for this and we were quie impressed with the service and our breakfast order. We would definately be coming back.

We arrived with myself in need of some medical attention - the staff were amazing - so calm and caring, they had us sorted and moving forward in a matter of miuntes. I was off to the hospital and my wife and daughter were assited in getting checked in. The room was great and the bed was perhaps the finest bed I have ever slept in. My hat is off to all the people who were so helpful in putting us at ease and helping us to get things sorted out. Brilliant !

Our stay was fantastic, close & easy walking distance to all that we wanted to see. Would definitely stay there again.

It's right next to Roger Centre and CN Tower, a nice lounge at the Hotel can let you view the baseball game with full view. If you want to take the subway, it will take you a 10 min walk. One thing I may suggest is that they can be more environmentally friendly to use ceramic mugs instead of paper cups for coffee/tea. There wasn't enough supply of paper cups so I had to ask for housekeeping to supply more for us.

The loaction is great, my room was as nice as any good hotel I've stayed in, the staff I encountered were nice enough. But I was on the second floor around the corner from the ballrooms and across from the strairwell so it was the noisiest room I can ever remember staying in. I could hear everyone in the hallway (and there was a lot going on) as well as constant banging that I suppose was from plumbing. Unless you're okay with valet parking, be careful when using their Plaza Garage off of Navy Wharf because you'll get a ticket if you don't wake up at 6:30am to pay for the day. But I learned not to be too lazy about asking for a room change and clearing up parking instructions in the future.

I've stayed in many a hotel and sometimes the staff appears as if they are merely going through the politeness motions, as it were. I can't say that about the staff I interacted with during my stay. I would particularly like to highlight Warren at the door and Jennifer at the front desk for being so personable, and for making me feel they were concerned about my experience at the hotel. Guests were excited about sitting at Windows restaurant (which overlooks the field), though I did not eat there so cannot comment on service. I also live in the GTA so the fact the hotel is 1) attached to the Rogers Centre, 2) steps to the CN Tower or 3) a short walk to Second City or 4) a few blocks away from the Bell Lightbox...isn't as important to me, but worth pointing out for people coming into the city for the first time!

We were extremely happy about checking in at7am when we arrived so all of our fitness baggage could go into our room instead of storage. This was a huge help. We were settled in and ready for our first session at 8 am at the convention centre. Would definitely stay here again. No bed bugs either.

room was probably the worst room they had veiw was the skydome closure track.After a long drive I didn't feel like complaining about a lousy veiw in a half empty hotel. We asked at the front desk for a possible upgrade but no changes were made.So much for online hotels.Next time I will just book a better room at a cheaper hotel

had an easy check in. found hotel parking very convienent. got there at 1pm and was given a room over looking the field with two levels of space. it was beautiful. for the price i could not have been more pleased. would go back in a heart beat

Arrived in Toronto around 11:30, had no problem checking into the hotel early, which was great because it was raining and we needed to shower. The location of the hotel is great for all the major tourist attraction- your right beside the CN tower. However its a bit of a stroll to downtown and restaurants other than the usual tourist traps. The decor was standard for a hotel of this type, but the bar/restaurant was pretty unique. The food, even though its on the pricey side, was very good. Overall I was happy staying here, however a hotel closer to downtown will probably be on the books for my next stay.

woman at desk kindly offered us an upgrade on our room unfortunately the room had evidence of bedbug infestation and we needed to change to another floor original room status Needless to say this left us uneasy and spent the first complete day at home taking precausions fortunately noone seems to have been bit" knock on wood "other nights were fine just got off to a bad start

We stayed for 2 nights, and had a wonderful time. The staff were so friendly. We used valet parking, and after the first time we met the parking guy, he remembered our names. Would totally recommened this hotel,and we will be back again. Great place to stay to watch the ball game.

Overall it was a comfortable stay. The location is the best part. I would skip the restaurant. Food and drinks were not worth the price unless you were there watching a Blue Jays game. Once you get past the lobby, it got better, but the lobby smelled terrible!

We booked a room for a Jays game, and the location did not disappoint. However, the room was basic, and the lack of wi-fi access in the room was quite disappointing - this was our 4th hotel in 5 nights, and the only one without wi-fi in the room.
