City Garden Hotel - هونج كونج

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. It's not too far from fortress hill mtr station but if you take the airport shuttle it will take over an hour to get to the hotel because of the terrible hk traffic! The beds we comfy and the bathroom and room were meticulously clean. Highly recommend.

Service is excellent. Not enough chairs at the lobby. Many people are standing at the lobby while waiting for friends or check out. I will definitely book the same hotel for my next visit.

I really liked this hotel. Close to everything, and the tube is just around the corner. Small nice rooms with WIFI connection. Will be back some day!

Overall the hotel is clean and location is good, all hotel amenities isfine and Quality of service is meet my expection, I have stayed few time in this hotel and they can keep very good standard for customer

This was the first time I have been to the City Garden hotel and overall I was very pleased with my stay. Staff were very accommodating as I arrived to check in at 9am and they were still find a suitable room and allow me to check-in earlier than normal to prevent me needing to wait for my room. I stayed on the 7th floor in a quite a spacious room for a Hong Kong hotel and the double bed and pillows were absolutely divine. The hotel’s location around North Point/Fortress Hill is very convenient to get the MTR and Tram from and you can easily get around the main parts of Hong Kong and Kowloon without any problems at all. Finally, Yue restaurant is an absolute must try as it is brilliant food and service and well worthy of it’s Michelin Star accolades. I regret not trying the buffet as well as it looks very appealing with both English and local cuisine, but will try next time I'm in town. All in all, a wonderful 4 night stay at a very special hotel. I would definitely recommend and would use again for future travels to Hong Kong

The Tram in the main road was very convinient. I ride and your in Causeway Bay,. had fun staying in the hotel, lots of dinsum place near by

It was overall a nice hotel. The bathroom always smelled like a wet rug, but the beds were comfortable and spacious.

Good location close to the MTR, spacious rooms (by HK standards), reasonable rates and good service level and very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the smell of mold (at least on the floor I was staying) was quite disturbing though.

ABSOLOUTLY GREAT STAYING AT THIS HOTEL. TRAVEL TO HONG KONG EVERY 2 TO 3 WEEKS WILL DEFINATELY BE MAKING IT MY REGULAR HOTEL FOR MYSELF MY COLLEAGUES AND CLIENTS ESPECIALLY IF I GET THE SAME PRICE...... EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY......

Overall the hotel is pretty nice. We were lucky to stay the opposite of the neighbourhood, not on the main street, so it was pretty quite at night and slept well. Staff is helpful. The only 2 things I have to say that the room is not clean enough. I could see many hairs on the floor near the window. I think the cleaning lady was not carefull to look up all area's cleanliness. Also, the water from the shower was not hot enough, the water was just warm sometimes during at night time. Daytime is ok.

5 mins walk to fortress hill MTR stops, with a lot of local food joints around the area. Northpoint is a very old local neighborhood, not quite touristy but definitely safe area, and great to experience local food and market. Hotel does not have view, room is a bit dark because it is surrounded by other high rises. Service is overall good, room feels a bit worn. TV is pretty beaten up. But price is unbeatable.

The quality of this hotel is good for the price. I have stayed there several times and have always been satisfied with their service.

The staff was very nice and courteous but the room smelled like chemical. I had to change rooms twice and had to sleep with the window open in the third room. I checked out a night before because the smell was bad. On the other hand the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located by the MTR but far away from the convention center.

Positive: The hotel is well located and the staff is very helpful. Negative: Strange smell on the corridor

I reserved a room with a King size bed. When we arrived the room was not ready and we were asked to take a Queen size room. We did not want to do that so we were told to come back after 3 and they would have a King size room. When we came back they said they were sorry, but they did not have any King size rooms. When we persisted one magically appeared. Also, my husband became sick and we had to cut our 2 day stay to one day and suddenly their policy became a minimum of 2 nights (when it states in the on line policy that there's a minimum of 1 night). I got bad advice from the concierge about money changing and when asking them to arrange a car from the airport it took quite an effort and was hugely expensive. Overall, the hotel does give value for the money...but other than that I can not recommend

All staff very friendly, particularly in the dining areas. Room very "musty" smelt like water, hard to breathe. Wardrobe door would not close. Large crack in shower.

Good location 5 minutes away from Fortress Hill MTR This is a good value for money hotel, clean and comfortable at an affordable price.

This hotel i highly recommended to those visiting HK, it's clean, convenient to most attractions and to transportations. The facilities are very good and the staff are very helpful.

Very good hotel . Convenient location. Staff are very helpful, didn't realize that they loan you an umbrella, when it's raining outside. Excellent service

three blocks away from the subway station, friendly neighborhood and staff, I was able to check in at 1pm, and check out at 1 pm next day (requested for late check out). Room was nice and clean, iPhone dock and adapters were provided, exceeded my expectations

Very glad I picked this hotel, when I did my search on hotel.com, I was not sure since some reviews are not very good, but decided to give it a try. The experience was better than I expected, the staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful, even though a couple of trainees seemed not to be very knowledgable, but a supervisor by the side quickly corrected the wrong information. I am impressed that after I checked in, there's a housekeeping staff came to check if everything is OK, not many hotels do that. When I checked out a day earlier due to change of plan, they had no problem agreeing with Hotel.com to give my refund. The hotal location is pretty convenient, less than 5min walk to Fortress Hill MTR station, it's the line to cover several sightseeing places without tranfer, e.g., Causeway bay, Central, or from Wan Chai to walk to Star Ferry Pier, from Admiralty walk to the Peak tram etc.

The restaurant / breakfast is good, the service of restaurant is very good. The Lobby Managress is helpful. Unlucky for me :1st to 3rd Feb. 2012 - after 11:00 pm till early next morning, NO ELECTRICITY / light in rooms- POWER checking & MAINTEANCE
