Easy to find, but: 1) They charge you for parking? Really, I parked by own car in their lot and they billed me something like $18.00 to park over night? 2) In your room 3 doors down from the elevator, with the door closed, you can hear it running. 3) Room next door had a dog? And the friggin thing was barking. 4) I had booked 2 nights however checked out after just 1 night. I had paid Hotels dot com directly however the front desk did refund my credit card for the unstayed night so I'll say the hotel treated me fair on that. 5) Breakfast was good, fresh, staff served me well.

my friend and I stayed there on feb 18th while coming to see a concert at RAMS HEAD. we were treated very nice by all employees,, from check in to check out and our most fun was with the bar tender after the show his name was WES. although we called him HOWIE ALL NIGHT. we thought he looked like howie mandell (: Please make sure he knows that SHERRI AND DANIELLE from the america concert really enjoyed his friendly conversation . He is a true asset to your hotel,, although EVERYONE there was great. if ever in annapolis again the LOEWS HOTEL will be our frist choice.

Several complaints--TV didn't work, called service and never got it fixed. Stayed there because they had a spa, it's moved. Wanted to be close to the historic district, 8 blocks. Would stay closer in next time.

Very clean and firendly. I was even upgraded to a suit. Fantastic.

Nice hotel, ok location. The hotel itself is clean, nice and well maintained. The location is not bad but actually kind of on the outskirts of the downtown area. Downtown isn't that big so it's relative but it's about a two or three block walk to restaurants and bars and a 10-15 minute walk from the true center of downtown, the USNA, etc. Not too far a distance but since driving and parking options are limited you do have to be energetic and prepared to walk a bit.

The picture of the room on the internet in your ad. and the room we got did not look anything like what i saw. it was very clean but small

We had to change rooms because we were not given a handicap room. It took an hour to switch us to a different room. This delayed our evening activities on our first evening.

I stayed there on a Saturday. I went out to dinner with my girlfriend around 8:00 pm on Main Street. There was aloud raucous fundraising party going on in the lobby. When we came back at 11:00 pm, the party had shifted to some kind of party room, but the doors were open and the bass was thumping throughout the hotel. It made no sense that management allowed this party to occur in a location so close to all these rooms. We are mid-30's, laid back and relatively easy going. But the party was so incredibly loud, I had to call down to the front desk. Management acted like I was the only complaint of the night relative to the party. Management definitely dropped the ball on this one. Imagine trying to settle into bed around midnight and it feels like you are staying above the loudest club in the NYC meatpacking district. Part of the charm of staying in Annapolis is the serene, quiet ambiance of the small town. Will NOT be going back to this hotel.

This hotel is very conveniently located and the staff, especially bell staff, was very helpful and friendly. This must the dog-friendliest place in town, as we seemed to be the only ones there without a dog. Close to restaurants and downtown Annapolis, we'll definitely come back...but with our dog!

Had not heard of this chain before and was meeting at the State House in Annapolis, so this was very convenient. Little did I know this is considered the best hotel in the area by the locals. I had an incredible stay for half of what the other chains were charging. If I had to pick something negative to say, it was that I am not a seafood fan and there was a considerable amount of it on their menus. But in all fairness, so does every other restaurant in town. This town is on the ocean! You will love this place.

A very nice hotel

The rooms were very small and the hallways were dingy. The hotel was definitely overpriced.

The hotel was excellent. The staff friendly, the food good and a good value. The only problem we had was that our room safe didn't work and the rooms we had booked, 3 wks in advance were not available. When speaking to the young lady at our check-in, she said she would speak to AA and let us know. Nothing happened!

From a business traveler: PROS: location was favorable for my business meetings (though tourists may prefer being closer to downtown area); rates were quite reasonable CONS: front desk service was not awful but not as helpful as other hotels; wife left an expensive pillow in the room (complete with its own unique pillowcase) and after multiple phone calls, messages and unreturned voicemails, we were told a week later the pillow was not found; I imagine housekeeping gets blamed for a lot but we are sure if was left in the room I would stay here again but Westin and Marriott were better experiences in my book.

If you have a car you will have to pay about $20 a day to park it at the Loews. They also don't use an automobile for a shuttle. They have this open air, 6 seater, golf cart that they use as a shuttle - not great for a wedding.

Attractive hotel,our room was located above the door where the charter and tour buses dropped off passengers this went on till 2am not good for sleeping.if I were to stay there again I would request an interior room.

Nice hotel. Would stay there again.

Hotel was clean and staff was very courteous and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and time in Annapolis

Incredibly friendly and helpfull staff. Fast and efficient service. Bellmen moved fast and concierge was super helpfull on many occasions. Room had a few minor issues, but overall very nice. Extremely dog friendly. We thought bringing our dog would be frowned upon, but everyone was great, and Annapolis loves dogs. We even recieved a pet welcome bag upon check-in.

Everything here was wonderful, especially the valet guys and front desk. But why do you have to pay to use wireless in your room? It is free in the lobby. Seems in this day and age practically every hotel has wireless connect in the room. We were on a 5 day roadtrip and this hotel was the most exxpensive with the least amenities. No fridge or microwave either.

What a huge disappointment! Special weekend away that was booked in advance thru hotels.com...The Lowes...a no-brainer right?!!! WRONG....promised and paid for a king bed deluxe...received a double for myself and husband...our feet hungover the end of the bed...was expecting something bigger and better for our special weekend away...not to mention the room had ZERO exterior windows....only interior facing a wedding reception!!! I felt like i was at the Redroof INN!!!

For a 4-star hotel, I was surprised that I could hear the conversation and TV in the room next to ours. The $18 parking fee doesn't cover garage parking, but at least the hotel is in good walking distance from historic Annapolis. The Westin is now next door - will try that on the next visit.

Everything was perfect except we expected a bathroom/changing room at the fitness center. Service was very good. The concierge was very helpful and the registration desk assisted us when we checked in early.

Easy walking distance to the harbor area. Felt safe walking around at night (just two women). Hotel was very nice and the fitness center was small but well equipped.

Within walking distance to the Harbor for the Annapolis Sailboat Show and the downton area. Great Hotel, Terrific Service with a wonderful restaurant and bar on location. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Highly Recommend.

I was disappointed in many ways. The parking charges were substantially higher than on my confirmation. The mattress was very soft and lumpy. The room was sprayed with a scented deodorizer. I happen to be allergic to perfumes and this made my stay unpleasant. You are so concerned with be correct, why don't you realize that there are a lit of people with scent allergies out there. At checkout, the clerk was sympathetic and said he was comping me breakfast and gave me a coupon. The coupon only indicated complimentary meal. At the end of the meal, I got a bill for being over the limit of the coupon (which was not stated) and was impossible to have a meal for that amount of money. This is not about a few dollars. It is about a pattern of extracting money and deceptive behavior which I, as a business traveler, find totally unacceptable. I could not, recommend this chain to anyone nor will i allow my employees to book there, nor will I stay in one of their hotels again. I would rather sleep in my car. This is a 2 star hotel at best.

While the Lowes hotel in Annapolis isn't on the water down by city dock, it is close to a number of great places away from city dock and they do have an electric shuttle vehicle that will take you where you want to go and pick you up when you are ready. There are a few good restaurants and fun bars within an 3-5 minute easy walk from the lobby. I saved about a hundred bucks when compared to the Marriott down by the water which paid for dinner and a nice bottle of wine. I will make that trade all day. Staff were personable and helpful. I will stay there again.

Hotel was amazing, great distance from downtown, very friendly and clean, my only issue was that i requested a nonsmoking room and recieved a room that smelled like smoke. The room itself was perfect, very clean with great amenities just happen to smell like smoke. Other then that couldnt be more pleased with my stay

The rooms are a little tired, but the staff and amenities, free breatfast, free shuttle downtown and to resturants, centrally located are wonderful. great value. would stay there again in heart beat.

The hotel was very accomadating and they are very dog friendly!
