The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City - أرلينجتون

Good location, great service, but mildew smell to our room, we changed it twice, we think it is the carpet or the vent, the hotel has a lot of traffic, it needs complete renovation to bring it back to the Ritz level

The Ritz staff here were amazing! VERY helpful, very accommodating. Special thanks to the staff (Bellman, lobby concierge) for there knowledge, their courtesy, and their welcome smiles!

Everyone was fantastic, the concierge, the front desk staff and the waitstaff in the restaurant. Would certainly recommend this place to anyone visiting.

Overall the hotel was great but the television reception was bad, the hotel was not aware the mall was closed on Easter Sunday (we went there and security asked us to leave), and the pool needed some maintenance (floor was not leveled and there was puddles of water everywhere around the pool). I just expected a little bit more.

We stayed for 4 days to visit DC sites which were about 5 to 10 minutes via metro rail. Hotel was connected to the fashion mall which was great as we shopped and ate at restaurants in the mall. The metro rail is also at the mall so we didn't have to step outside to catch it. Hotel was clean and safe. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Luv the steam n sauna rooms. Kids loved hanging out at the pool.

The hotel is 2 metro stops (6 minutes) from National Airport...and 10 minutes from DC on the Metro. It is basically imbedded in a shopping center and is probably the closest Ritz-Carlton to a Costco in the world. Nice service and comfortable room. When we were there, there was a lot of construction in the Lobby, and the restaurant seemed affected as well. The construction should end soon. I would be pleased to return to this comfortable hotel.

Wonderful stay at the Ritz. Frank at the front desk was amazing as well as all the other staff.

We stayed at this Ritz a few months ago and enjoyed the stay. However, our most recent stay was beyond our expectations. The bed was extremely comfortable and the customer service was fantastic. We will definitely be coming back.

It was so much more than expected. Food, however was only fair and very pricey for the amount and quality. Much better eating at the attached mall or area.

i have been staying at ritz carltons for many years, at many different venues and was very underwhelmed by the lack of a lobby (no ambiance), the restaurant seemed dated, again with little ambiance. the room's decor was average. hotel staff was quite accommodating. hotel attached to a large mall -- which is quite convenient. was quite surprised that the ritz charged for wi-fi (was charged separately for using wi-fi on iphone and computer).

I usually don't stay at a hotel in this category of high service, but the location was perfect for seeing the sites of DC without having to drive into the actual city. You don't have to go outside to get to the Metro stop. Just exit the hotel into the upscale Mall and go down to the food court level to access the Pentagon City Metro entrance. From the moment we were greeted by the valet, to the end when we went back the next day to pick up the car after a day in the city, we were treated courteously professionally. My daughters loved the pool for swimming. The rooms were very comfortable with upscale decor. We will definitely return again next year.

Hotel was very good. Staff helpful and discrete. Am not a fan of being colocated at the shopping mall, but it did bring the advantage of having a Metro right outside the hotel door, that could whisk you into DC in just a few minutes. Excellent value for high-class accomodations.

Great stay, but the Hotels.com rate was not lower than the Ritz rate.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights with our two small children and we were amazed at how nice and helpful the staff was. Every need was met and the staff went above and beyond to make us happy. The room was a little small compared to what we have stayed in when visiting other hotels but it was still comfortable. The room had plenty of towels, was super clean and appeared to be well maintained. Our only complaint was that the AC only kept the room at about 74 even though we had it set to 68. Wasnt a big deal but we like our room a little cooler but we survived. We will be back next time we visit DC.

We had a great stay. The Hotel was very nice, staff was outstanding very nice. This is at a great location, Metro right outside the door, 4 story mall connected witha great food court. They could not have been nicer, we had 4 people trying to hold the door for us, Great Great service!!! Highly recomended. It was very convienient for all our tours in DC.

Great experience from check-in to check-out. Perfect location, safe walk to all major conveniences. Some of the fixtures in the actual room felt a little dated, but the smiling faces and warm and accommodating service to my 4 year old (check-in gift was awesome) more than overcame the 80's fabulous feel of the room.

I would recommend this hotel to guests that would like to be near good shopping and have a car to get to other areas of DC and historic civil war sites. We stayed with the breakfast and parking package and were pleased with the hotel staff, dining staff, and friendliness of the people.

I can't say enough about the professionalism of the staff. The hotel lobby and common areas are very nice, the rooms could use some renovations but they are still "nice"--just not what I would rate as a 5. Great location if you like to shop--great upper-scale mall at your fingertips. Metro is very close...also restaurants within walking distance (also ice skating rink in the winter months).

Great Location, Quiet neighborhood ! Awesome Staff... People at Executive Level (Karima and Sonia) makes you feel like you don't want to leave the Hotel.

The Ritz granted aerly check-in at my request, but we arrived at the normal check-in time at 3:00 PM. As mentioned in preivious reviews, the staff were very friendly and courteous, the room was very clean and modern, and the location allowed for last minute shopping, since there are several shopping areas nearby. We purchased the parking, breakfast and room package, and all 3 items did not disappoint. We will stay there again!

From the minute we drove up to the hotel entrance until we departed, we enjoyed a first-class experience at every level. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful, the room comfortable and the food delicious. And, I can't say enough about the hotel's exellent location and convenience to shopping and public transportation. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning. Thank you to the entire staff at the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City.

A very comfortable hotel. Understated in the Ritz-Carlton tradition. Conveniently located with a subway station next door and the Pentagon City Mall. We were on a three day family holiday to Washington. It was uncomfortably warm on one day and so we spent much of the day shopping at the Mall. The restaurants at Pentagon Row next door are quite good. Overall a great stay.

Our experience at this hotel was fantastic. The room was beautiful & had the most comfortable bed! All of the service was wonderful & helpful. The location was perfect & we loved how close we were to the metro stop. We definitely plan on returning :)

Everything was great,the only problem we had was paying that much for a room for 4 nights and then they want to charge you 30.00 a night for parking, another 35.00 for the internet, and our shower was backed up every morning even after asking maid to have this fixed, the rooms are nice, pretty views, i wouldn't have a problem staying there again but, I would be comparing it to the Renaissance INN they give free breakfast and internet and parking...

If your stay has breakfast included make sure you inquire about what the rate per day per person for the in-room service breakfast option, and the gym has a very limited weight workout area, other than that we really enjoyed our stay at the Ritz Carlton and I would definitely stay again and high recommend. The hotel is attached to a beautiful shopping mall and the public transit train is right out your door if you did not have a car. 4 and a half stars.

The Ritz carlton Hotel in Pentagon City is a genuinely first class hotel. It is convenient, clean, comfortable, and elegant. You get what you pay for.
