Red Lion Hotel Denver Southeast - أورورا

The stay was great had a couple issues, we had housekeeping trying to get into the room while we were sleeping and when I booked the room I asked for a king size bed we ending up with 2 queen size so wasn't happy about that, otherwise it was fine would stay there again.

We had a nice stay at the Red Lion, as we are Select Comfort bed fans! We were pleased and surprised to see that we had a King-sized sleep number bed. Wow! We slept like rocks! We were disappointed, though, in both the pool and hot tub being under construction. We had our suits on, ready to go downstairs for a dip, but no go. They say it will be done late summer. I would try Red Lion again for the wonderful bed, and hopefully the water events will be open!

The place was straight out of the 80's, carpet paint tile etc. My room was missing the privacy sheer so I had to keep the drape closed when in need of privacy. Carpet was stained, air bed needed to be replaced, it took three flushes to flush any type of waste, not one picture on the wall to look at. The pool was empty, the gift shop has been closed for months and the food at their restaurant was less desirable, and there are no eating establishments near the hotel. Then you had to deal with finding a parking spot at night because they rent out the ballroom to misc organizations and parties. Overall I never stayed at a worse Red Lion, and for the money I paid it was a big disappointment.

This was a nice hotel, although the convention space was a little disjointed. There were rooms around hidden corners, and one even hidden around a mirrored wall, so you thought you were at the end of the room. Also, zero help with bags. I saw one person with a walker struggling with her bags until an unrelated guest helped her. I also needed a bellman, and when I asked before I checked in, I was told yes, but when I got my key, she looked as if I had asked to shoot a dog. Wait staff in restaurant and bar were great, and housekeeping staff very friendly. I would only stay here again if I was at a convention. Pool and whirlpool are both outside, and not operating in May.

"The horror..the horror...." as Colonel Kurtz would say. I was not expecting the Four Seasons but this place was an unmitigated dump! There were two fire alarms while I was there, one right before I got there. The food and service in the hotel was horrendous. The maids didn't come to clearn your room everyday. I finally had to call the front desk and insist that my room be cleaned... Everything was pretty terrible...Ive staying in much better motor courts than this place. Ugh. They need to put millions into into just to bring it up to standard. I couldn't wait to leave!

awful- "the computer went down" , so checkin took an hour at least, in the middle of the night

Rooms have nice beds and newish carpet. Bathroom sink was cracked and the fixtures were old. Staff was nice and helpful.

Good comfort food for late night snack at the bar.

The Red Lion Hotel Was A Very Clean Friendly Enviroment.

Restaurant was closed for repairs, looks like they had a banquet there but were still in the process of removing it in the back lobby. Took them most of the night. Bar was serving full menu of the restaurant. We went out to eat. Difficult place to get into and out of as they are just off a clover leaf exit. Tried to take a bath but it wouldn't hold the water. Then was told that, as in most circumstances, they put a hold on your CC for incidentals. I had a water in the room. Fine I was charged for that then they also charged me for something and spoke with Guest relations. They were quick to take care of the issue. But overall, I do not think I would go back.

This is a great hotel, they were able to accommodate us after a horrible experience with the original hotel we had booked. The staff was very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond what they needed to do when asked. Thank you for your hospitality.

Our stay was only one night, the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the room was what I expected. My only complaint is that the mattress was a "Sleep Number" and I found that it took a lot of messing around with to get comfortable, rather than just being able to lay down and sleep.

The shower water was cold and the room temperature was not easy to regulate. Very close to the rail line to downtown.

ive stayed at this hotel many times. I like the property but it is difficult to get in and out of.

The staff was great. Accommodating a hotel.com scheduling glitch quickly and efficiently. Room was great, although it could have used a TV channel guide. The hotel is showing some age, but not anything that some paint couldn't cover.

The one good thing is that is has a great workout room. The bed was awful. Not sure if the remote wasn't working properly or not but the bed was very uncomfortable. The number didn't show on the remote, tried both going up and down, but it still was hard. You had to flush the toilet 2 or 3 times each time it was used. The TV had lines on most channels. The restaurant was closed, food from the lounge wasn't great. The soup was room temperature as was the mashed potatoes. The waitress seemed to go to other tables often, but didn't come back to us until we were almost finished eating. I had read good reviews about this hotel but was very disappointed. Very hard to find entrance off of the interstate.

Nice clean hotel, a little outdated. Front desk was a little short when asking information. Beds are wonderful and the rooms are large.

Having stayed there before I learned to use the South Tower as the rooms and care are nicer. Plus, you can get a fantastic view on the west side.

Have used the hotel often and this is the first time there's been such a serious problem. The shower/tub had not handle to turn on the water. Maintenance did come quite quickly but once he turned on the shower, it couldn't be turned off as there was still no handle, needed plyers! Very very inconvenient. Will be demanding a reimbursement from the hotel for this night's stay!

Door key had to be re-keyed every day.

We had a great time. It's convenient that there is a restaurant, and the shuttle to and from the airport was a life saver. With the road construction, it took a few tries to figure out how to get into the parking lot. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Great! Terrific Hotel for the money and good location for us.

Was originally put into room filled with cigarette smoke; when I complained, mgmt very quickly responded by putting me into another, upgraded room. Price and comfort combo is very handy for business travel. I might stay closer to city next time, but the hot tub and pool were great enticements.

They allow pets to stay for a one time 15 dollar fee. Much better than 25-30 every day. The toilet was too small and the shower drain was clogged. None of the vending machines worked except the 8th floors.

I would stay there again

Beds were very comfortable and the location next to interstates was a great plus.

Getting to the hotel was a bit of a pain with the construction, but once we were routed, it was fine. Our door to the room had a hard time shutting and there was some hair found in the bathroom. The staff was friendly, and we were there just long enough to sleep and pass through.

Everything was fine, except that our bathroom stool would not flush. Our traveling companions who were on the same floor had the same trouble. Finding access to the hotel was a bit confusing too.

Very pleasant in every way

I paid for a king-size bed and got two queen beds. First room - the rug in the room was not vaccuumed, there was a piece of jewelry on the floor in front of the bed and there were pieces of lint, dirt, paper on the rug throughout the room. The toilet seat had feces on it and on the side of it. When I spoke to the desk clerk - he asked me if we used the toilet - really?? Asked for another room and moved three doors down. The room was cleaner, but not by much, at least the toilet had no feces on it. We will never stay there again. I asked if the rooms get inspected after the cleaning has been done, the the front desk clerk told me "I don't think so."

New to the area and using a Garmin, which got us to Parker Ave. But, as we drove past it said, "Arriving at destination on right." Finally figured it out after 3 tries around and past--the interstate is layered on S. Parker Ave, so in theory we were there. Finally on the last trip, we did not follow the Garmin and drove right in. I really liked the idea of having the money comped to my bill for food or any other services. If I did not use it, I would have it refunded. The food was excellent, by the way. The confusion of getting to the Red Lion was frustrating especially if you have no clue where you are going and it is raining. For that reason, I probably would look for easier on/off the interstate accommodations.

The Red Lion was a very nice place to stay, the staff was wonderful. Our only complain were the pillows...they are more like canon balls, very uncomfortable.
