The hotel was in a great location right on government st. The hotel itself was abit old fashioned but everything was very clean. Perfect for a weekend trip.

Adorable suite and close to all the downtown fun.

We found the price to be great for the quality and heritage of this hotel. Very clean, cozy and in the center of downtown Victoria. Would definitely return on our next trip.

We had a wonderful stay. oir room was upgraded for free. the hotel is right in.the center of government street so your literally within a block.of everything. the hotel staff was amazing check in and out took maybe a total of 5 minutes combined. i would defiantly choose this hotel again.

My husband and I had such an enjoyable stay at the Bedford Regency Hotel in Victoria. We booked online and had never been to Victoria, so really didn't know what to expect. The staff was so friendly. They upgraded our room for us upon arrival (without having to ask). The rooms were so clean, which made me feel so much more comfortable. The location was amazing. We didn't need our car from the time we checked in until the time we checked out. Amazing time in a beautiful city....thanks Bedford Regency!

Very comfortable clean rooms, friendly service and delicious coffee bar. The off-site parking is a little inconvenient (2 short blocks from hotel), but it's such a pleasant walk, no glitches getting in and out of parkade. You are in the centre of the city, so you do not even need a car; very walkable location

Was looking for a small apartment to accommodate 3 adults and one small dog at an affordable price. The Bedford Regency provided us with a clean apartment, comfortable beds. It was located near a park and walking trails. We were able to locate restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Although the building is older it has charm and is well maintained. The price was very affordable. Would stay there again.

Our stay at the hotel was alright but not having a microwave in the room was a little hassle for family with a 1 & 1/2 year old kid. We have to go to the pub to warm up milk for her. Shower is little small and Hand wash sink is in outside the washroom facing your bed. There was a door in our room which goes to another room. Even though it was locked but I feel little uncomfortable.

While the Bedford Regency is not new or modern, it is well maintained and was very clean. The location was fabulous, in the heart of Victoria. We were able to walk everywhere. And ... the price was very affordable.

This is our second Christmas stay at this hotel, and this one was as enjoyable as the one last year. We are happy to have under cover secure parking a short distance from the hotel.

Great price and perfect location for a Victoria getaway, right in the middle of everything downtown: shops, restaurants, pubs, etc. A few minutes' walk to the waterfront, Chinatown, Parliament Buildings, etc. Clean, cozy older hotel, nice coffee shop/bistro in the lobby. We'll be back!

Very well located on Government street.

The staff was extremely friendly and eager to offef assistance should you need it. You would think that you'd hear noise the entire time being that this hotel is locatedin downtown, so not the case! I was able to relax and enjoy the peacefulness. Will definitely be visiting again.

Found a very reasonable price on hotels.com, easy walk from the ferry and very convenient downtown location for those on foot, we were able to walk everywhere! Room was pretty small and the building is older but the price was right and the hotel was very clean. The hotel was nice enough to hold our luggage for us the next day as well.

I stay here every time I visit Victoria. There are nicer hotels but I always find the Bedford Regency to be charming and a great value. It has everything that I need. It's clean, quiet, comfortable, convenient and has a mini fridge.

This hotel was right in town short walk to everything. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. There is a pub on site though we were not disturbed by noise there is also a great coffeee shop on site. Great coffee but sadly no breakfast. We had a lovely room the bed was very comfortable. We would have loved to stay here again however they were booked out at that time.

Throughly enjoyed our stay at the Bedford Regency Hotel. Close to everything coffe shops, restaurants, bars and great shopping. Did not even need a car while we were there. The location of the TV could have been better, other than that everything was great.

Very well-located, in downtown Victoria, with shops and restaurants and places of interest within walking distance. Room was clean and had a window A/C unit, which is nice considering many of the downtown hotels in Victoria are older and don't have A/C. Bathroom was a bit small but clean. The one complaint I have is that the pocket door to the bathroom kept getting off track. And once off track, it is impossible to get it open unless someone opens it for you on the outside of the bathroom. This could be a safety issue for someone traveling alone or for elderly or physically compromised travelers.

The hotel could NOT be in a better location. While it is in a prime location, there is no parking, which is 1.5 blocks away. Other than that, it's quaint and delightful.

We had a very pleasant stay for 5 nights, staff was fantastic, food just great. Coffe shop was was very convenient and the staff was very friendly. The location was great, close to the harbour and an easy walk in the downtown area. One minor complaint, was maybe the view out the window on our room (#44). Otherwise our stay was very pleasant and would want to stay there for our next visit.

Extremely good location, services is very good, cost is very reasonable, even lower than the Traveller's Inn.

This hotel has all the charm of an old hotel, combined with a great location in the heart of downtown. There are even flower boxes on the outside of all the windows. Our room was large and very comfortable, with two wing back chairs, a wood burning fireplace, and a view of the harbor. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were within easy walking distance of many attractions including the BC Royal Museum, Maritime Museum, Bastion Square and Market Square as well as China Town and the waterfront. There is lots of activity in the area including street musicians and markets, so it is a fun place to be. The parking is in a garage about two blocks away, which is a little inconvenient, and costs $11.00 per day extra. On the weekends, it is cheaper to park in that lot without the Hotel Pass because they only charge $7.00. There is a closer lot behind the building that charges $15.00 per day. It is nice to be able to open the windows, but it can be noisy with the late night partying in the square and early morning delivery trucks. The sea gulls start chattering at dawn. The hotel itself was very quiet.

I cant beleive that I had to park in public parking and was charged 11 dollars a day. I did not like having to walk two blocks to get my car

Very Centrally located hotel. Close to Harbour! Nice Quaint hotel that was kept us nice! Small rooms but very clean and tidy! The ony (big) issue is parking! If you come here be prepared to pay for parking! It's $11 cnd per night for parking about a block away. Due to my truck not fitting under their parking I was forced to pay for outside public parking! I asked the front desk what my alternatives were and he said "there were none!!" I ended up paying $128.00 just for 4 nights of parking! Ouch!!!

It is very worthy for the price we paid!

The hotel was a great central location to everywhere we went in Victoria, very courtious employees & helpful with directions. Good time for my 1st visit to Victoria BC.

We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed every moment. The hotel is very central to most venues and very comfortable and safe and reasonably priced... also early in the morning you can slip downstairs to Artigiano's for coffee.

Very convenient with a great price. Right downtown so you can walk to all amenitites and sightseeing spots. Seagulls were a bit noisy at night but we had an ocean view. Recommend for couples without children.

The hotel is nothing fancy.....but the location can't be beat...............Right in the middle of downtown so almost every tourist thing is within easy walking distance. I wish the place had a working restaurant and a lounge that was open regularly, but those things are available within steps of the hotel... This is our second stay there and we'd probably go back.........

After reading a few critical reviews, we were a little nervous. But we were completely satisfied and impressed with the incredible location and overall experience. I am only writing to counteract the people who seem to expect perfection for a hotel at a great rate. Get real. This is a great bargain. My wife and I stayed with another couple and would do it again in a minute.

Best bang for your buck - right downtown and half the price of some of the bigger name hotels.

At our arrival the clerk in charge just said " give me your last name" not even a good evening,welcome i.e Old rooms,they need an urgent renovation.At arrival they took my card for charges but the funds have not returned upon days from checking out. Overall a hotel to avoid.

This hotel has an excellent location and is very clean! Even though it is located on one of the main downtown streets, barely any noise could be heard from the streets below. The rates are very affordable. I would recommend this boutique hotel to all friends!

Very quiet and quaint hotel. Convenient to everywhere.

The bathroom has a semi-tranparent door which is sliding and not secure. Should change the color of the carpet to a lighter color. Staff is friendly and helpful

We enjoyed staying in your hotel. The location was just where we wanted to be. Although we would have prefered a dining area that included hot food for breakfast, the fact that there was a great resturant just next door helped us get going and viewing the surrounding area early enough to see many more spots in dountown Victoria. We would give the hotel a 4 star rating and definetly recommend it to others. Thank you for making are visit even better that we expected.

Small room, decent price, "quaint" aka outdated decor; small old TV too small/outdated, coffee in room very poor quality; A/C window unit did not work very well. When I called to confirm the room, I was told the room had a view of the "inner courtyard" - this is essentially an air shaft, with no view except other peoples windows. The location is the only thing I would return for, right in the middle of all things 'walkable' downtown Victoria.
