Travelodge Bangor - بانجور

It was the worse experience stay in any accommidation I have ever had. The carpet in front of the sink/vanity area was wet and soaked my socks completely through (I had to wear shoes to use the mirror and sink), mold was growing on the door casing and the paint had pealed off and was on the carpet, worse off all the room reeked of cat urine and I had to open the window despite the cold to breathe. I reported this to the front desk and never even received an apology for the condition of the room. I will never stay there again.

If you happen to be in Bangor and need a place to sleep for a few hours then this is the place. I flew into Bangor at midnight and had a interview early the next morning so it was perfect but I don't think it's the type of hotel that I could lounge around in and relax in. It was kind of screwed up that I had to get the ironing board and iron from the front desk.

Basic but just what we needed!

This property has a very convenient location both to the airport and to all major highways, including the Interstate. If you rely on it for breakfast you will be sorely disappointed. It has no restaurant and breakfast was bare-bones, with no juice or fruit of any kind. On the bright side, the television channel selection most definitely was above-average, especially for a budget property. If a hotel offers MSNBC, I know that it cares about offering variety.

The hotel was ok, not overlly friendly but more than willing to probide what you needed. Pillows stink, so bring your own.

Clean, cheap, quiet and with a good location. That was all I was looking for and they provied that.

I spent one night there when it was 8: 45AM I received a phone call telling me that if I want to check out or services.I said I am going to check out.At 10:30AM , Housekeeper called me back again Idid not pick up the phone.she nocked on my door to tell remind me it" time to go .check out was 11AM.Iwas so upset and I will never go back again.

Hair was all over the bed sheets... Will not stay there again.

CHECK IN WAS AWESOME, FAST AND CONVENIENT. HOWEVER, THE ROOM WAS SMALL AND CRAMPED FOR EXAMPLE WHEN THE HEATER CAME ON IT WAS SO CLOSE TO THE BED IT BLEW THE COMFORTER OFF, WHICH MADE IT HARD TO SLEEP. AND I BELIEVE EVERYBODY IN BANGOR STOPPED THERE VEHICLE AT THE ICE AND VENDING DOOR (LEAVING THEIR CARS RUNNING) AND GOT ICE FOR FREE AND SPED OFF ANNOYING WOULD BE THE BEST EXPLANATION FOR THAT. BUT IT WAS THE CLEANEST OF ALL THE HOTELS ON OUR TRIP.

Very nice owner! Very Dated rooms and hotel. Not very clean (pubic hair on the sheets, dirty bathroom), heating system was effective but loud and upon entering the room was freezing (before we turned up the heat and left for a while). The hotel didnt have a very safe feel (especially with the do not leave anything in the hotel room or car). But survived the night and enjoyed Bangor.

Hi, we arrived shortly after 11pm and had to ring the buzzer, make repeated calls with no answer, etc for at least a 1/2 hour before someone finally came to the door, they did not say anything, we did get checked in as it was prepaid, but we thought we were going to have to get another hotel. The room was freezing cold, eventually warmed up.

The motel was more than adequate for a one night stay. The staff was friendly. The room was clean.

This wasn't fancy but was clean and a great price. There also was a continental breakfast.

The room was clean but the hotel room needed repairs to their windows and door. For what I wanted {a place to stay while I shopped},it was ok.The price was cheap.

When we checked in we were told that we had booked a smoking room when in fact we had booked a non-smoking room as my mother is allergic to smoke. They finally accomodated us in a non-smoking room but were not in the least bit apologetic. When we got to the room, the bedside lights/alarm clock did not work (the outlet itself was not working) so we had no bedside light or clock. The pop machine took my change and didn't give me my pop.

The rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable . Handy to malls and places to eat . had a container with beverages and ice in our room , it melted while we were shopping but when we returned to the room housekeeping had filled it with ice . Never had that happen before in 40 years of travel . The rates are great too !!!!!

The hotel was satisfactory for the price range, it's an old building but maintaine, the rooms were clean and confortable. The continental breakfast was very limited but it was OK.

i was looking for a good deal, just spend the night while driving. Decent stay.

It's old run down and should be updated. I turned the heat on and it smelled so thankfully I'm a Scentsy Independent Consultant and used some of my room spray to freshen up the room. It's cheap run down so if your looking for a cheap room to lay your head on a pillow then it serves the purpose but I'll pay a little more and go elsewhere next time.

The Travelodge Bangor was well worth the $$. Clean', quiet and comfortable. No unusual frills but---the price was a value.

We asked for a 1st floor when we made the reservation (re handicap), but we were told the room we reserved was not available when we got there, and the desk clerk was surly. There was hair in the tub, the shower knob was broken, the toilet seat was loose, the refill on the toilet squealed, and the soda machine was broken. This is a very unpleasant place to stay.

It would be difficult in the winter months since the access to the rooms are from the outside even the upstairs rooms. It was fine for what we needed.

Friendly and efficient staff; easy access to highway, restaurants, gas stations; just minutes from Hollywood Slots. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. My only complaint is that there was a constant, heavy drip from the bathtub faucet.

We found the hotel comfortable,maybe not real close to all things(walking distance) but was easy to get to things and all in a short time.

Very unclean place. There was a big stain on our bedding when we first arrived so we had to get new bedding 1st, then we noticed that they only had enough towels and washclothes for 2 people when there were 4 in the room. Then the toilet wouldn't flush proper so they had to fix that, then the tub hadn't been clean so I actually had to clean it myself and th coffee maker had dust on it from I'm sure 2 weeks ago. the continental breakfast was skimpy to say the least. I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

This is my 2nd time in the past month using this site and was disappointed both times. This hotel was very dirty, bath didn't drain properly, no toiletries. I do not reccomend this hotel to anybody.

This hotel should be closed down until a major cleaning is done and the worker's learn how to treat people .worst place I have ever stayed in .dirty hole in the wall .never to return .

Great place for the price! Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and simple and made for a good start to the day. Only down part was that the shower drained slow. Would go there again for sure.

Room was nice. Front office personalities could use a little life.

My daughter and I spent three nights at this hotel and couldn't find anything to complain about. However we would have liked to have a small fridge in the room as we like to have tea late in the evening and early in the morning as we prepare to go out shopping and we had no way to keep our cream /milk cold . Other than that we were happy with our room. It was clean and neat and close to our favorite shopping areas. We would definitely stay again.

Free Wifi and Breakfast made this hotel a great deal.

Pleasantly surprised! The room was a bit dated but very clean and the king sized bed was an almost brand new pillowtop! A simple but satisfactory continental breakfast. A great bargain if you don't need amenities like a pool or gym.

My room smelled a little had to spray some air freshener in it. Common area's dirty and smelly. Place poorly maintained.

Abandon hope all ye who pass the railroad tracks away from the other chain hotels at this highway exit. The hairs I found on the sheets and in the shower were enough for me to be super-glad that I had a sleeping bag in the car. One lamp had a burnt out light bulb. The other wasn't plugged in. The TV needed about 10 minutes of reprogramming every time it was turned on to work. This was a booking done on the cheap, 2 hours before hand to avoid camping outside in a torrential thunderstorm. I was safe, warm, and dry in the morning. Which I suppose is what I really wanted anyway.

was not too concerned as the hotel was a place to sleep while on a shopping trip. The employee who was working on Sunday morning could of been more friendly.

I did not like this hotel at all. Unless you are just there to spend a night or two than its good. But if you are there to stay with your family and want to live at a nice place than this is not it. Bed in breakfast was horrible. They probably had expired cereals and milk. I ate at dunkin donuts all 4 days when i was there instead of bed in breakfast at this place. Bathroom's were really small too and their toilet stopped working on our 2nd day. THEY HAVE NO WIFI IN THE ROOMS. That is one thing every hotel has except this one. I would not recommend this to anyone.

We booked non smoking rooms and the rooms we got were stinky with tobacco. one they tried spraying some kind of coverup perfume that was as bad as the tobacco. Broken furniture - office type rolling chair was broken and when I sat down in it fell over backwards. personnel were good no problems with them at all. Very friendly and courteous.
