The hotel was nice and comfortable.. I liked that they had Rick's bar downstairs so you don't have to go anywhere if u want night entertainment.

The hotel restaurant was x bit pricey, and the food wasn't really good. The employees were super nice, especially the bartender. If the food had been good, the stay would've been the "total package".

Nothing special here, and it certainly could have been cleaner, but it was well located and fine...

So when i checked in i had signed up for a smoking room from the begining when i checked into the hotel, there were no smoking rooms available. So i had to wait for an 1 1/2 hours in the lobby waiting for them to clean the room. After the long wait finally a room was ready but not on the side i wanted. Upon entering the room it was clean but the phone lines were'nt working for me to make a local call. So i call front desk asking them what's going on with the lines they say they will send someone up an check it out. I had ask them if i can move to another room they tell me nothing was available. Well finally the phone lines started working on the day i was leaving. I fell that i should be awarded something back. Weather if its $5 or a meal voucher. Wasn't to pleased on their actions on making the guest happy an their first priority.

Hotel was just :OK" Rooms could use a sprucing up Bar/restaurant was in serious need of sprucing up . . .but price was ok , room was clean

The hotel is Ok , but the situation of it not convenient when using collective transportation. Hotel far away from Miami Beach. Using transportation by bus takes a very long time to join the 10th avenue of Miami beach, about 2 hours!!

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is located near restaurants, malls, and sightseeing areas. There are also several amminities offered at the hotel. t We were there for an event at Sunlife Stadium and it was easily accessable from the hotel. The hotel is in wakling distance of most shopping and resaturants. I would recommend this hotel to others. I plan to use this hotel again next year.

This Hotel is old, but in good condition. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Not in the best neighborhood. Friendly restaurant / bar staff... Free shuttle to close shopping areas. Overall decent Hotel for the rate.

The hotel room was satisfactory quality for overnight stay and a good rate.

Easy check-in. Clean room. Nice dining room. Easy check-out

advertised just minutes from miami airport . this is not true it is about 30 min away >Coffee and tea in the room but not sugar or cream would not stay at this location again very disapointed with howard johnston in miami

Reasonable price compare with others, however smelly rooms, not comfortable blanket and sheet. dated carpet is cons. I addition to it, no heated water in whirl pool, no gym facility in the hotel. There are many hotels located in the surrounding area, this one needs to keep it up in the competition.

We booked a Penthouse Room for 3 nights-King non smoking.This was our 2nd visit and all was fine.Nice comfortable bed,clean bathroom.The corners of the floor rug could be cleaner-probably the upright vacuum doesn't reach.Only thing I left my jacket in the closet and hope to get it back.Would stay again

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS REALLY BAD. FRONT LOBBY EMPLOYEES NO HELP AT ALL. NO ONE WAS AT THE FRONT DESK BUT MYSELF AND TWO EMPLOYEES CONTINUED TALKING AND JOKING INSTEAD OF TENDING TO THE CUSTOMERS NEED. WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.

Don't do it. Pay an extra $25 and go elsewhere. There service is the worst. We had 5 people to a room and only 3 towels. There shuttle is a joke. Called when we arrived (as instructed) at airport (7:10pm) was told would be there in 1/2hr. Needless to say after 4 calls to the hotel and 2hrs of waiting by the curb they finally came. Called for towels and xtra pillow and it took over an hour to get it. Best of all we ran out of toilet paper late in the evening and called down to desk for more and 9hrs later, still no toilet paper. I wont tell you at this point what I really would of liked to do without any toilet paper. But best of all, the roaches and ants. Called the desk to tell them i wanted another room because of the roaches and ants they send up housekeeping with a bottle of Raid. What the hell is wrong with these people and to top it off no one speaks english. They all speak Spanish. So i suggest your learn spanish before heading there. I do have to give credit where credit is due, the restaraunt in the hotel is awesome and they are very friendly and inexpensive. oh and last but not least there elevators have not been inspected since 2008, must I say amymore. So before you book this hotel i suggest you go elswhere. :(

The staff at Howard Johnson Hialeah 1o3rd Street were excellent .There services were prompt and the house keeping excellent too. Definitely I will visit again. Thanks Guys!

Picked this one because it had a 3.5 star rating. Should be more like 1.5 stars. Not enough outlets. Couldn't find my package I shipped there. Wife got stuck in elevator. Circuit breaker blew in room and no one is capable of flipping the circuit breaker switch until the $7/hour maintenance guy comes in at 9am. Old TV. My last stay at a HoJo.

The only good thing about this hotel is that I only had to stay there for about 4 hours. First of all, our room was not ready and after waiting we were sent up through the dirty, decaying hallways to our "suite". The poorest excuse of a "suite" consisted of a dirty, outdated, and foul-smelling room with two tiny beds that folded out of the wall. The bed did not even have comforters and did not have the 3 beds I was promised when I booked the hotel. After arguing with the staff, the only highlight was the supervisor who transferred us to two other rooms for free. THE PICTURES ARE COMPLETELY DECEIVING. THE ROOMS ARE NOT, I REPEAT ARE NOT, IN THAT CONDITION. The beds are small and gross and totally uncomfortable...the rooms look nothing like the updated, comfy rooms with views that the websites boast. Everything in the hotel was old and I could not wait to get out of there. If we had been staying longer, I would have demanded my money back and gone somewhere else. I am contacting Howard-Johnson to call their attention to this false advertisement and the poor condition of this hotel. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

Certainly it's no more than a 3 stars, however, the service is satisfactory and it has a good location. The price is a little bit expensive, but it's good remember that you gain what you pay for.

This was not close to the docks for curise ship. Opposite direction and other side of airport.

The hotel was not well maintained. The carpet was dirty and stained. The ventalation grate was handing by one screw with the filter hanging out the bottom. If I had not made the mistake of paying in advance, I would have canceled my reservation and found other accomodations. I have stayed in much nicer for much less. I travel plenty and I would rate this stay in my top 10 worst.

Stay 3 nights because booked in advance. Noisy and two weeks after departure they stole me USD70 by charging my credit card!! Lot of emails contact for an explanation, they tell me it’s for the use of the telephone!!!! I disconnecting the telephone like I always do in a hotel room because I hate the ringing! I don’t phone! They don’t trust me and so charge me 2 weeks after!!! A scandal! When I gove them back the magnetics cards for the door entrance everything was OK and 2 weeks after they stole me!

when we arrive, they give us a room without refrigerator, I don t like , the telephone of the front desk never attend

Had a great time here @ this hotel. It was close to the shopping district also the staff was very helpful an pleasant towards me an my family. Only one thing that i had wished for is that all of the rooms be equipped with a fridge an a microwave @ all times. Other than that it was a wonderful getaway.

My problem is with the television. it was old and the remote control did not work with it. Another control was brought up to me right away but that one did not work with the television as well. We had to push the button on the t.v about 5 mins to get it to come on. it became frustrating, we stayed for a week and late at night when it was time to relax and watch the tv it was a hassle.

I was on the fourth floor, and all I can smell including my room is cigarette smoke, it was horrible, being a non smoker I opted for a smoking room,because the non smoking floors was more expensive, which I think was not fear. A lot of hotels I've stayed at charge an additional fee for smokers who smoke in their room.

Shuttle service was great. Offered drop off to the Mall and Walmart. Even assisted in delivering package that was left at the hotel to me at the airport.

this hotel location was cool. not near any beaches, though. plenty of places to eat close by and highway close by. the room was clean and spacious.

We had some problems with our reservations. They reserved us a smoking room . Not good. But After speak to 5 star Customer Service . Like Bammm all taken care of and got a free upgrade to a Non smokiing suite. Hotels.com and Howard Johnson did a great Job

The hotel is too far from Airport. Not so well manteined also. The only plus side is that it has a nice comercial zone nearby.

Having stayed at this hotel before the area is well-known area to us. Easy access to the highway and shopping malls. Very friendly and helpful employees.

The hotel shuttle bus arrangement are really poor, once per hour or even more.. I stay in Airport for long time and finally call front desk and said no shuttle bus at 10:00am, 2:00am as the shuttle is heading to shopping ctrs. And Front Desk only said their "formal speech" and hand me up... what a crazy!! Room is old.

Room was comfortable ..all to my bed, it was so soft and uncomfortable it hurt my back had remove the mattress and sleep on the bed frame .
