Ramada Anchorage Downtown - انكوريدج

The stay was fine. The people were friendly. There was no mountain view as promised however. I only stayed overnight before continuing my trip so it was not an inconvenience however so it was not a big deal for me but it is not something that should be advertised.

It was in a nice location but overall, the room it'self was very small for two beds,and the location was great, close to malls and stores but t was a little noisy when cars passed by.

I stayed here for 2 nights before the ceremonial start of the Iditarod. The location was perfect; I easily walked to all the downtown sights and shops. I was picked up promptly at the airport by their shuttle and was warmly greeting and settled into my room when I arrived. The staff was knowledgable and helpful with all my questions, and very friendly. The room was clean, the furniture a bit worn, but not too tired. The Slippery Salmon restaurant is next door to the hotel, the food is great!

I can't believe Ramada has their name on the front of this propoerty, what a dump. Loud street in front, staff were not friendly, breakfast was only so-so. The room was the size of a closet.

We only stayed in Anchorage one night after a skiing trip to Girwood. I chose this hotel because it is close to the mall, the price was right and they offer airport shuttle. I walked to the mall and came back with bags and it was such a short walk (we did not have a rental car). The room and bathroom were clean and simple. The employees were nice and helpful. I would stay there again.

Hotel is in disrepair. The room was dirty, stained carpet, loud and noisy fan on heater forced me to wear ear plugs all night. Not a great experience and one I will not repeat.

it's ok!

The stay was nice no problems especially for the location of the place, the people who work there were friendly and professional, and the location was very nice, close to malls and food and entertainment..

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is quite good. Hotel was very quiet and very little outside noise

The staff was fantastic! The only criticism was the bathroom needed maintenance & there was no refrigerator as advertised so we used the balcony & Alaska cold instead!

This hotel is comfortable, and close to lots of events downtown. The rates are very reasonable. Thank you

The staff was very friendly, but the room was not clean especially the bathroom. I don't tend to be super anxious about cleanliness, but I was not willing to walk barefoot in the hotel and just planned to have my family wait a day to shower until we were home. I also did not feel comfortable with the location of the hotel with poor lighting out side and the feeling of not being in a good part of town.

My stay at the Ramada was cozy and adequate. The room was functional. Two issues: 1) the heater in the room (and others as I overheard in the hall) are very loud. 2) The shower curtain bar was sagging which made closing the shower curtain completely impossible. Called the front desk- they sent the maintenance man immediately who fixed it. Continental breakfast is fine. Nothing special but if you're on a budget, it a great way to cut food expenses. All in all, not bad. If I couldn't afford a nicer place, I'd come here again.

Sharon and Jeremy were very pleasant and accommodating......and I loved the bed.

It was OK for the money.

The room was clean, but not above average. But the breakfast was excellent, and made it worth the money. Would stay here again.

Surprising pleasant experience..Excellent breakfast but I missed the first day.

for my needs the location was very good. only odd thing was the lack of an inside door between restaurant and the hotel.

The receptionist is helpful to our enquiries during our stay. Location of the hotel is towards one end of downtown and a 10 minutes walk to the centre of downtown. Rooms are pretty clean but not that roomy. Not much of amenities are provided in the hotel and breakfast are so so only. The only good thing is that you get a 10% of the food bill you eat at the restaurant next door.

Right in downtown anchorage. Perfect for a few nights in town. Not luxurious but you get what you pay for. Room was clean and comfortable, staff were very helpful and friendly.

Need 2 mark parking space, u can park your car in space but other cars are park too wide , an you can't git your car in the space,

Good thing is the room was cheap. Beyond that...not good. Worst bed I've ever slept on (at least in the U.S.). There was so much street noise it was as if there was no window at all to block the sound. I had a random wake-up call at 5am that I did not ask for. All of the finishes were dated and old. It really felt more like a motel that was converted to a Ramada. Overall, way below what I expected from a Ramada and I don't really have high expectations for them.

For the price, the hotel was okay. Close to train station so the train whistle woke us up several times that night/morning. Breakfast was better than average for free continental. Free off street parking. We ate at the attached restaurant, Slippery Salmon, when we arrived and were less than impressed with the food and service. Overall it was okay but we would probably try another hotel if we were in Anchorage again.

This was by far the best hotel that I have stayed in for this type of hotel. They do everything right including the breakfast, pick up and return to airport, friendliness, room maintenance, location, etc.....I highly recommend them.

Pleasant place, good rates, well located

While my room smelled a little musty, the hotel was a five minute walk to my meeting venue. HOWEVER, the front desk phoned me at 3:15am Saturday night to wake me out of a sound sleep. They said they had a noise complaint and I had to stop my non-existant raucous party. They wouldn't believe me when I said I was alone in the dark and claimed there were people on my balcony. No one actually came up to my room to check. I never got back to sleep. On checkout, I did get the clerk to admit there had been no people partying on my balcony, but no apology or redress was offered. When I said I wouldn't be staying at the Ramada again, all she said was "sorry to hear that."

I enjoyed the stay at Ramada Anchorage Downtown. The room is big, comfortable (specially the bed) and has all needed amenities. However, you notice some signs showing that the hotel needs some renovation but nothing really serious. The breakfast is good and complete for american standards but sometimes you miss some products that are common in Europe (more bread, ham, bacon, sausages, etc). The hotel is clean and located right close to downtown. For the 4 night stay I could get a good quality/price relation.

I requested HANDICAPPED ROOM because I was traveling with a wheelchair fried. Handicapped was on the request. The hotel knew nothing about it and said I should have called them direct. I DID CALL DIRECT TO BE SURE ABOUT THE HANDICAPPED ROOM. I did not get one after it was typed on the request and I also called the hotel the day I made the request. We had an ordinary room and my friend could not get into the tub to bathe. I was NOT HAPPY. The food was good at breakfast was the only redeaming factor. There is a breakdown in communication from request to getting a handicapped room. I called months ahead. NOT HAPPY!!!

The hotel is on the older side but had many positives, a laundry, good wi-fi connection, close to town and great service. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus as was the shuttle to the airport. We'd stay there again.

Not impressed. The upgraded mountain view room was across a parking lot. You could barely see the water. The TV, fridge and Microwave(with the coffee pot on top) were on top of the console table leaving no room to put a second suitcase except on the bed.

Place was what I wanted - a good location and a reasonable price and a friendly staff.

The shuttle service was ok and continental breakfast choices were better than other hotels of the same category. Trains blasting their horns continuously through the night interrupted our sleep.

Great communication & friendly, informative customer service. Shuttle from airport to hotel 10:00pm and early morning shuttle to the train station. Clean, comfortable room and nice breakfast was include early before shuttle left.

Great room for the price. Very nice breakfast and shuttle to the airport! The staff was very helpful and courteous!

The Hotel was conveniently located to shops & restaurants. The room was a good size although they did seem to put us in a room tucked away in the back. The room was clean & the continental breakfast was really nice.

Our first time in Alaska, and we expected the long days. Still, were surprised to hear road maintenance work being done one night at about 10 p.m.; we could see them out our window. The hotel was very convenient to downtown and we walked everywhere. It's located on the edge of a part of town we were uncomfortable walking if we went one direction, but great going into the downtown shopping district. The room itself was adequate, although mattress a little tired. Great to find a Gideon's Bible in the nightstand drawer. The function of the door made it hard for anyone to close it quietly, but we tried. Could hear the typical resident noises in the hallway but not bad. Breakfast was fine--not gourmet but more than just pastries and coffee--and included fresh fruit, cereals, waffle maker, yogurt, oatmeal, toast, biscuits/gravy, muffins, juices. The attached restaurant has the best salmon chowder, too. The front desk staff was most helpful and not condescending to our touristy questions, which we really appreciated. We'd love to come for another visit.
