I booked a single room to stay overnight for a business trip. The single rooms really are tiny, I was pleased to only have brought hold luggage with me, as there would have been no room to store it. The room had definitely been well cleaned before my arrival, however during my stay a thick layer of dust settled in the room. I noticed that this is the case throughout the hotel. The hotel dealt with my request for an early check-in promptly and courteously, and the location was very central while still being quiet.

I stayed at the Radisson Edwardian Sussex from December 19th-22nd 2011. Having been to London twice previously in the same year (January and July), the Radisson Edwardian Sussex far-surpassed any of those hotels. Location-wise, it is ideal. Set just off Oxford Street, a mere stones throw from the giant Primark to give you some idea, it was ideally placed for shopping Oxford Street and Regent Street. There was a bus-stop right at the corner on Oxford Street and it was situated between Marble Arch and Bond Street tube stations so, access to areas of London further afield was no problem (Though we tended to walk everywhere!). Hotel service was faultless and when we asked for a taxi to be ordered to bring us to the station on our last day, a chauffeur-driven Mercedes promptly pulled up outside for the fair sum of £15! I presume some people would find issue with the size of rooms. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a Superior King room on check-in which was gorgeous but, still relatively small so, I could imagine that the standard rooms are quite compact. That being said, we do not spend much time in the hotel rooms when in London so, it would not be an issue for us one way or another. We'll definitely be booking again for our London 2012 trip.

Location is obviously the key benefit. Single rooms are very small but in nice condition. Staff and service was extremely good. They were very helpful. Overall pleased with the stay. Kacih

Very friendly, very clean and modern, just around the corner from the top stores on Oxford Street - just not sure about advertising a full English Breakfast for £19!! Also very helpful in storing luggage on arrival and after checkout times, which is essential for when you are spending your first and last days of a holiday visiting shops etc.

Receptionist upgraded me in view of the fact that my original room was "rather small". Upgraded room was also small and the bathroom so minute to be dangerous!

The location by Selfridges and Oxford st was great, but I had the smallest room ever. It was so hard to manoeuvre, particularly if I needed to get the Ironing board out! Not comfortable for spending any time in the room. So only recommend if you only plan using your room for sleeping in.

All round excellent. Location and staff top class. Food and service superb. Only minus is that rooms at the front of the hotel are noisy at night from the rear of oxford street shops loading bays 5* otherwise...............

The hotel is very central and very close to main shopping areas so it is very convenient location wise. Rooms are small but that is normal in London, however there is only a small lift which is constantly busy used also by hotel staff, so be prepared to wait a while. Breakfast in the morning is not up to the standard of the hotel.

other than the lift being out for refurbishment, it was an amazing stay. the staff were just amazing, so friendly and helpful. i was upgraded to a delux room.great facilities and location

I think I just had a bad experience in an overall decent hotel. I was impressed with how neat and tidy it was. My single room and bathroom were VERY SMALL, but I expected that and the size served my purpose. Air conditioning was quite evident in the hallway, but almost absent in my room. My major complaint was with the shower drain being clogged up and draining dreadfully slow while water was collecting in the shower. I made 3 requests to fix it. Finally, I was told it would be a big job and would have to be done with the room unoccupied. I was offered another room, but didn't feel like moving all my stuff at that point. Also, the very small solitary elevator went out of commission for the rest of the month while I was there. In addition, my room was actually down a flight of stairs, so people with disabilities beware.

I had an AMAZING stay at the Radisson Edwardian Sussex, the staff were all very friendly! Room was clean and room service was great!!!

Amazing position..... so close to Marble Arch and all the shops that i enjoy visiting. And really friendly staff. Definitely will be returning. :)

I have been travelling for over 25years, and this room was the smallest room that i have stayed in . It should never be sold as a room. It was more like a closet. I am surprised that the hotel would charge for this room the same rate as for a normal size room. Even the staff were embarressed to put me in this room.

This hotel is less than 2 minutes away from marble arch station, and all the glamour of oxford street. I booked into a single room, and was upgraded into a single deluxe. The room was very very small, and incredibly noisey (front of hotel). It isnt double glazed so you can hear all the noise from the sorrounding areas. The bathroom had to have been one of the smallest i experienced. I asked to be moved, but was told they were fully booked. i felt breakfast was quite expensive, and ended up getting it from local shops instead at a condersably cheaper price. All in all, great location, quite expensive and tiny room.

We stayed here as a group of 10 for one night as a base for a hen do. The location was perfect and within walking distance of several places we visited, for anything further away we just used the underground which was a 5 minute walk away. The hotel was clean and tidy, with modern rooms. The staff were all friendly and happy to help with any queries. My only one criticism would be with breakfast, the food was all lovely and served in a nice dining area but when I mentioned I had a wheat allergy and had advised them of this before my arrival they didn't seem to know anything about it. After several conversations with different staff they said they would sort something out for me, after about 15 minutes they appeared with a plate of rice cakes, not exactly what you expect for breakfast! Overall I would recommend this hotel as a nice, clean hotel in a good location and value for money.

regularly stay at this hotel rates getting higher had to stay in a single room vs a double small but ok good restaurant great location to Oxford St behind New Look Sportsman club- a small casino w/i walking distance also w a good restaurant

When I arrived I was told that there was only a very small room up some stairs and that they could move me to the right type of room the following day. The room was definately smaller than anything I have ever seen in any hotel anywhere in the world! However they gave me as compensation free full (very good) English breakfast for four days and the staff was throughout my stay some of the most friendly I have ever seen. The room that they moved me to was very nice indeed. I can understand teh mix up with the room for the first night, they were overbooked because of Valentine's day. I have to say that next time I visit London I would definately get back to this hotel as the servive and teh room from the second day onwards was excellent and the price very reasonable considering the quality of teh hotel, location and service

the hotel is very close to the best shopping in london. just steps from oxford street towards the marble arch end. also very close to the marble arch tube station which is very convenient if you want to see tourist attractions. only downside is the rooms on the fist floor has a slight stench of the kitchen which is located on the ground level. so try to ask for a room on a higher floor. wonderful and friendly staff. definitely would come back!!

The hotel is very welcoming from the moment that you arrive. The rooms are clean and comfortable... and typically very quiet. The breakfast that is provided has all that the items to make traditional English breakfast plus more.

If you are planning to visit London and stay in your room then this is not your hotel. The rooms are comfortable, small and very, very clean. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed and the staff remember your name throughout the stay. The traditional English buffet is very good with a variety of options for the guest to consider. I would highly recommend this hotel for your next visit to London!

The room was just OK. I know it is London and the rooms are small but WOW. If you have any luggage at all good luck. The computer room was nice and I thought the location was fine. The major issue that bothered me was that the man at the counter service was nice but I felt he was trying to sell me everything. For example, on the day of our departure he was trying to sell me a cab to the Gatwick airport for $75 pounds. I decided that I would rather take the train and save the money. Then he call a "cab" to take us in the morning that cost twice as much as the exact trip I took the day before. The van that showed up didn't even have a meter. When I go back to London I think I will just pay up for a better hotel.

Great location, just off Oxford St, on a quiet side street. Our twin room was very small, but was equipped with everything we needed, and was decorated nicely, and was also very clean. Brekkie was good too. Only downside was the price of drinks in the bar - cost us £15 for a glass of rose and a Pimms!!!!

Hyggelig betjening, kjempe sentralt! Reiser du til Stansted er det utrolig effektivt å komme seg til hotellet med tog og tube (direkte liverpoolstreet til Marble Arch, eller flybuss som stopper 15 meter fra hotellet! Lett tilgjengelig betjening som var hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Vi fikk et stort flott rom , sist fikk vi ett ganske lite. Men det er rent og flotte bad.

Har kun rosende ord for hotelets personale og dets placering (sidegade til Oxford Street) med undergrund og busstoppesteder lige rundt om hjørnet. Kan varmt anbefale dette hotel.

Hotellet er som sådan fint, men jeg tror aldrig jeg har betalt så mange penge for et lille, ubekvemt, kosteskabsagtigt værelse. Not value for money!

Veldig greit hotell rett ved Oxford street. Litt små rom, men fine. Minus for at vi måtte vente en dag på adapter til pc, mobil etc. Samt det skulle vært litt nærmere krysset Oxford-Regent street, men det er bare en personlig mening grunnet litt latskap. Alt i alt er jeg fornøyd med oppholdet. Tips til førstegangs reisende er å kjøpe et Oyster-card til T-bane. Da kommer du deg fort frem over alt utrolig rimelig.

Et fint hotell. Litt kaldt på rommet, men det kan man helt sikkert gjøre noe med om man vil. Rommene var også litt små. Men generelt har jeg et godt inntrykk.

Endnu en gang har jeg brugt dette hotel under et besøg i london, fantastisk sted at bo, dejlig central på både by og undergrund. Kan klart anbefales.

Ligger tæt på undergrunden Marple Arch og udmærkede butikker i nærområdet. Værelserne er ikke så store men rene og m nyere badeeværelse. Ikke meget støj fra gaden - mest fra aircon og køleskab. Har boet der 2 gange og kommer gerne igen.

Beliggenhet er det viktigste når meg og kjæresten skal ut å reise. Hotellet her lå 10sek gange fra oxford street. Personalet var hyggelige til enhver tid. Eneste minuset var komforen på rommet. Rommet var av minimal størrelse. Når vi begge hadde pakket ut var det så og si umulig å ferdes på rommet. Itillegg ble vi flere ganger vekket om natten av høye lyder fra rørene i veggen . Hadde forventet mer på et 4* radisson. Men tross dette var oppholdet bra!

Jättefräscht trevligt hotell alldeles nära Oxford Street. Perfekt läge, god service och fin frukost!

Nice hotel with great reception service. Small room, but enough for two adults on shopping/vacation for a couple of days. Clean room, very small bathroom with a really cold tiled floor. Very quiet, but still less than 100m from Oxford street. Very close to Marble Arch underground station.

Rigtig god beliggenhed, tæt på shoppingmuligheder samt spisesteder og super service fra alt personale. Kunne dog godt bruge en sengelampe,da det eneste lys på værelset var spot i loften, ikke praktisk hvis man er to afsted sammen og den ene vil sove og den anden vil læse.

Hotellet ligger like ved siden av Primark og New look, og ved kort avstand fra Marble arch ! Perfekt for den som reiser for shoppingens skyld :-) Hotellet er nydelig fint, og servicen er ingenting å si på. Det eneste er at frokosten er veldig typisk English breakfast, og jeg vet at værtfall jeg ikke er klar til å spise så mye fett så tidlig på morgenes.

Uvanlig prisgunstig og sentralt beliggende hotell i London. 50 m fra Oxford Street, men likevel stille rundt hotellet. Vennlig betjening. Godt vedlikeholdt til å være et London-hotell. Vi hadde tre rom. Alle var romslige og med nyoppussede bad. Anbefales. Vi skal tilbake!
