The hotel earns it's 5 star rating. Room is excellent and staff amazingly helpful. Right on Leicester Square, the hotel is near everything you want to see in London. Right in the heart of the Theatre District, very near to Buckingham Palace and all of the major sights. Room was absolutely comfortable and well furnished and extremely quiet from all of the outside noise.

The hotel itself is perfect, but since they are renovating the bloody Leicester square, getting in and out of the hotel was a nightmare. To add to this misery, the staff had the very bright idea to close one entrance of the hotel, the side door, which meant that i had to go around to reach the front of the hotel, an 8 minute walk. So for me, until the Olympics are done with, i will avoid this area.

The staff was most gracious. We'll be back. My reason for rating the comfort of the room as #4 was that we could have used a little bit more drawer space for a week's stay. (We don't usually unpack for a shorter stay.) We especially appreciated the honoring of the request for our rooms to be made up for our early arrival because we were so very tired after an all night plane trip.

lovely hotel in heart of central London, staff very helpful and friendly although drinks in the bar took a long time to arrive.

We arrived from Australia at 7am and did not expect to be let into our rooms until that afternoon, but to our surprise they gave us access as soon as we arrived at no extra charge. This was a god send after a 14 hour flight. Thank you very much.

Good standard, great service, expensive breakfast, walking distance to most of tourist attractions, very little noise at nighttime...

Radission Edwardian Hampshire in Leicester Square is a lovely hotel but overpriced. Unfortunately compared to other 5* hotels, it lacks those few extra stars. Great location though.

We booked this hotel because it looked like it would be close to a theatre we wanted to go to. Turns out the Radisson is close to pretty much everything we wanted to see while in London. We were only a 15 minute walk from the London Eye and Big Ben, plus around the corner from Trafalger Square and West End. Customer service at the hotel was amazing. We got there early and were able to check out bags and then the bags were delivered to our room while we were out. The bed was amazing as was our view. Any problems that occurred were fixed quickly and they apologized for the issues. We were made to feel welcome and would definitely stay here again and will refer anyone to this hotel.

I travel a lot around the world and always try to stay in the best places. I must say I felt like I was staying at a four season hotel. We stayed in room #116, they even had a Nesspreso coffee machine in our room. We will stay there again and again while visiting London. PS. Thank you Mercedes at the front desk for making our stay superb!!!

Lovely hotel perfect for the night. Second visit as we were seeing a show and doing a spot of shopping. Room spacious and comfortable. Bar prices expensive though and got woken up by the refuge men about 5 but what's to be expected in Leicester square. All in all a good stay and would def go back.

This hotel is in a handy though rather seedy spot. My room was small, and dark and it smelt damp. The breakfast was woeful and I got my early morning wake up call to get an early morning flight 30 minutes late. I am not sure why this hotel is rated 5 star. 2 or 3 would be more accurate.

This is a great hotel to stay at in London. You are a block from the tube station and it is so convenient. The only negative comment I have is that the neighborhood is so noisy, we were barely able to sleep. We were on the 2nd floor and all you would hear all night was people yelling. After two nights, we spoke to the front desk and they moved us to the 6th floor. The room was gorgeous and you couldn't hear a sound!! It was fantastic after that!

This was my first experience staying in a Radisson hotel, and I found it very comfortable. It was very convenient as close to Leicester Square tube station and the London Coliseum and other theatres. All staff were friendly and helpful. Room was great and the only negative thing was the noise in the morning coming from the building site close by (preparations for 2012 in Leicester Square). Breakfast was good although I felt it was rather expensive. I would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

We chose this hotel due to it's location on Leicester Square and because of other reviews on Hotels.com. This was a vacation trip, and we stayed at this hotel for about 1 week, traveled to another destination for another week, and then returned to this hotel for about 3 days before going home. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms both times were superb- roomy (especially for London), impeccably clean, and very comfortable. They were happy to store one of our suitcases during the week we were traveling elsewhere so we were not burdened with excess baggage- a real plus. The location, for vacationers such as ourselves with the intent to attend the theater every night, was superb!

We chose this hotel because of its location in central london and for it being a family friendly hotel. The reception and concierge was great. As well as the customer care. Overall the room was ok. There was a huge piece of furniture, a modern chair of some sort, in the middle of the room, that was an eye sore, and quite dangerous for my child that I had staying in the room. The room service was horrible, the food was tollerable, but the majority fo my complaints would have to be from room services lack of professionalim with the hotel guests. From a 5 star hotel I would have expected a more hospitable service. I would not suggest to stay at this hotel with children.

Fantastic hotel for location and convenience if having a night out in central London. The hotel itself is outstounding in presentation. The bar was a great start to my night and served some excellent champagne. Although being a Londoner, the hotel gave me a feel of being "on holiday" which was great ! Would recommend if having a late dinner or seeing a show and stroll back through the hustle &bustle of Leicester Square on a Saturday night.

When I booked this hotel for my wife and I and our friends, I wanted a really good stress free weekend at the end of a very trying period for all of us. I looked at various other 'top' hotels but decided to stay here due to the location. At very near the top of the price range I thought 'it is 5 star what can go wrong'. I rang the hotel a week before our stay to request an early check in on at least one of the rooms so we could freshen up etc, I was told that it would be no problem both rooms will be ready at 12.00. We arrive at 1.00 and neither room is ready and wont be until 3 - 3.30, I thought it is not worth getting worked up over it so we checked in left our luggage with reception which we were assured would be placed in our rooms as soon as they were ready as we had tickets for Vinopolis at 2.30 and wanted to get lunch before going in. We arrived back at the hotel running a little late at 6.30 went to get our keys and saw our luggage still behind the counter! however we were rushing a little and wanted to get changed for the theatre at 7.30! so we went up to our rooms and I had only been in my room 2-3 mins when I got a phone call from my friends telling me they were back in reception getting another room! they had tried the door on their room and neither key worked, a maid saw them and told them reception knew that room was out of service and opened the door and showed them running water coming through the light fitting in the bathroom and the floor covered in water! The staff sorted them another room in about 10 mins so we got ready and left for the theatre. After the show and a drink in leicester square we went back to the hotel bar for a nightcap and found it fairly quiet but there were signs they had been busy earlier we ordered our drinks and sat down, the ladies went to the bathroom and when they came back told how the bathroom was 'disgusting' with tissue all over the floor and the sanitary bins were overflowing! my wife reported this to reception wher

The Radisson Edwardian Hampshire Hotel was conveniently located to food, shows, and sights. And although my room fronted Leicester Square, my room was wonderfully quiet.

My wife and I had been travelling through Europe for a few weeks and had a couple of days in London before we flew home. The stay was an opportunity to catch up with friends and see the sights again. We wanted to be in the middle of the action. We were not disappointed as this is by far the best location I have stayed in this city. My concern was noise as we looked over Leicester Square but that was not an issue. As with all London accomodation it is expensive relative to room size but for its quality, it was what I expected to pay. I found the staff fantastic. They were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. All up a good experience.

This hotel has an incredible location right in the middle of Leicester Square. Easy access to metro/theatres/bus tour. It is a comfortable hotel for those who require no luxury or extras. A typical European, no frills hotel. The lobby area is updated but the floors above with the rooms are not. There are no lobby amenities... but there are plenty of shops and groceries nearby to buy drinks/snacks/necessities. Overall... it was just an OK place to stay... you get what you pay for... and this hotel is worth the low rate you pay.

This was a exceptional experience. The staff was terrific, location great and room was superb. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is in a very convenient location for the theatres, pubs/clubs, covent garden and the tube. The staff are all friendly & helpful and even though the location is central you can hardly hear the noise from outside, I will definitely stay here again.

No complaints. Free WiFi, comfortable bed, great location, good food in the lobby restaurant.

The hotel was in a great location, right in the middle of Leicester square ... so i'm guessing that's why it's so expensive to stay, because otherwise, for that amount of money i'd expect a lot more from a hotel. I've stayed in other expensive hotel is the heart of london and they've been more up to standard so location isn't really an excuse to overcharge. The inside is lovely, and the rooms are very 'lavish' and elegant, but on closer inspection, a little tired too. Room was also quite small. No little bottles of toiletries to take away (we girls like that : ) instead they had pump action ones attached to the wall. Having said all that we had a GREAT night's sleep, bed very comfortable, and the Breakfast 'on the go' option was reasonably priced for London.

From the helpful receptionist who arranged for us to check in early, the room,the bar,the general ambience, through to the simple check out our experience was perfect.

I decided to pay a bit extra and book a deluxe room at the hotel and was not disappointed. Celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary we were treated to what must be one of the finest hotels in London. The location was perfect for our theatre, shopping and pub/bar plans, the room a luxurious environment in which to relax and unwind and the restaurant and bar were perfect for our needs. Thank you for a delightful weekend.

Ett bra hotell med ett suveränt läge för att ha närhet till bra shopping på gångavstånd. ett lugnt område utan störande biltrafik. kanske något i dyraste laget men för oss avgjorde läget och den otroligt bra service som är på hotellet. vårt rum en juniorsvit var rent och rymligt, men man bör känna till att standarden kanske inte riktigt motsvarar 5 stjärnor så som vi i Sverige är vana vid. jag kan rekommenderad detta hotell om man vill ha bra service och närhet till shopping gatorna.

2012年3月中旬、ホテル前は工事中。タクシーは目の前につけられません。多少不便ではあります。 部屋はエレベーターの近くで、多少、音が響きました。

Stor fornøyd med hele oppholdet!! Alle som jobbet der var veldig imøtekommende!!

Leicester Square var ved mit besøg en byggeplads, så et værelse mod pladsen havde nok ikke været så fornøjeligt. Til gengæld var udsigten fra mit værelse mod en anden husmur heller ikke så spændende, men værelset var dejligt og badeværelset også. Og som anført i overskriften er beliggenheden ved Soho, Covent Garden og alle teatrene efter min mening den bedste!

Parfait. Aucune critique. Seule réserve: les travaux qui gâchent la vue sur Leicester Square, pas de la responsabilité de l'hôtel. Grande serviabilité: j'avais oublié mes chemise de nuit et déshabillé: ils m'ont été renvoyés avec les compliments de l'hôtel! Je garde cette adresse en réserve pour un autre séjour. Très central également.

크리스마스때 묵었는데 도어맨 왕친절이고 호텔 입구에 식당이 즐비한 번화가 중심지에 있어요 주변에 먹거리 많.고요 밤늦게 까지 돌아 다녔어요 트라팔가, 라이언킹, 차이나타운, 맘마미아 버킹검궁, 래스터 전철, 쉐링크로스역등이 근처에 있는데 9살 짜리 딸과 걸어다닐 만큼 가까운 거리. 하이드 파크의 원더랜드 갈때만 택시 탔어요 택시비는 10유로 미만이었던걸로 기억해요

Beliggenhed og service var godt, men værelset og omgivelserne var meget slidt. Det trænger til en restaurering og bør derfor nærmere have 3 end 5 stjerner.

場所も、部屋も、環境も申し分ないのですが、ゆっくりできるロビーがなかったり、フロントで待たされたり、ちょっとしたことで、最高になりえませんでした。余裕があれば、また泊まりたいとは思います。
