Adolphus Hotel - دالاس

This was one of the worst hotel experences I have ever had. I needed a place to get some rest and shower before heading to the airport.My hotel room had no hot water and the lights were not functioning properly. When I explained this to the front desk at check out the clerk was rude and simply did not care!!

The experience at the adolphus was awesome. The next time I am in Dallas I will stay there.

Rate was very good. Hotel was a little dirty. Hotel in need of some repair. Very busy at times. Valet expensive Valet retrieval adventure on Sunday

Our over all experience was very satisfying! I would recommend the Adolphus Hotel in the future. The air conditioning could have been cooler, but it being an older hotel, I wouldn't let that hesitate me from staying there again.

Beautiful European style elegance, but needs to improve their lighting in their bathrooms and hotel rooms, guest checkout (need express checkout) and their valet service is terribly slow (even if you call down and IF you can get an answer). The restaurant is amazing and the price is good, they just need to address those issues and they will once again be a 4.5 to a 5 star hotel!

I travel frequently for business and always try to stay at a historic and or boutique property. That can be a hit or miss proposition, but the Adolphus was a home run. Service was excellent, from valet parking, to the front desk clerks, or the concierge, everyone was professional and helpful. My room was nice. Clean and good sized. The snack bar was well stocked with refreshments, and the prices were fair. The Adolphus is located in a prime downtown Dallas location, within walking distance to several outstanding restaurants. Highly recommend!

For a older hotel I thought that it was well preserved, however our room was by the service elevator we heard it most of the night as well as the noise level from the street kept us up.

price was a great deal for being such an old and famous hotel. my only two complaints was he reserved a king size Bed and they only had a queen available. also the room never seemed to get cold enough. otherwise hotel was beautiful.

Beautiful hotel, great location. Had to wait in drive up for 15 minutes and front desk 30 minutes to check in...ran us late to get to our appointment. Very nice room, however, we requested a quiet area on a high floor. We were given an 11th floor room, however the room was right next to the room service elevator, which was not evident at first glance. The elevator was behind a regular looking hotel room. The elevator ran ALL night and everytime an employee came out of the regular looking door, it slammed..,kept waking/startling our dog and small daughter. Very unrestful night. Reported to front desk at 4:00 am, the person actually asked if we wanted to switch rooms...really? With a child/dog/etc? Nothing was offered to accommodate for our inconvenience...until after a 3rd attempt by my husband. They only credited our parking & pet deposit.

This hotel knows how to take care of people! Valet service, complimentary transportation to any event or area--every employee at this hotel was helpful! The beds are wonderful and the rooms spotless!

We stayed in this hotel one night and were not at all staisfied. First, no one greeted us as we walked in the front doors or when we got to the check in desk. There was a gentleman at one if the checkins si we walked up to it. He acted real busy and didn't even say he'd be with us in a minute. Then the girl at the next check-in helped the people behind us first! That night we were trying to go to a movie and were late because the vallet lost our car. They didn't even bother to see why we were waiting there so long until we said something to them. The rooms were alright but we didn't have the robes and the pipes rattled. Also, the bed frame would knock against the wall every time I turned over in bed. This place should have been rated a 2 1/2 star It was definately not worth the price, even with the discount. Stay somewhere else!

When we first arrived our room was not ready. We were about to cancel our stay but the manager accommodated us in another room. We were able to get reservations at the outstanding French room which we completely recommend even if your not staying at the hotel. They provided me with a vegetarian menu which was wonderful. My husband of course had the regular menu. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. We also scheduled a tea time. We didn't even k ow the hotel offered it. We had a three course afternoon tea which was accompanied by live piano music. So beautiful. It made our afternoon tea that much more delightful. The cost of the tea was around $35 a person but well worth it when you consider all of the courses you get. Plus they again provided me with a vegetarian option and my husband was able to drink coffee since he didn't like the tea. Room service was excellent as well as the valet. You could definitely escape in this hotel. We ended up having a great stay and we were treated very well by the staff. They made us feel so special. We would recommend this hotel to others because it was recommended to us so highly.

My husband and I spent a romantic night at the Adolphus. We had already had a nice dinner somewhere else, but I have heard great things about the french room. I didn't have my confirmation number printed out, so the clerk just asked for my name, ID, and a credit card for incidental charges. Pros: -The clerk gave us a free upgrade to the 23rd floor at check-in. This switched us from a King bed to a Queen bed, but that was more romantic anyways. -checkout 1pm -Free Wifi with no no code needed - great shower head (non-extendable) -The minibar was reasonably priced. We didn't have to wait for the maid to check the minibar before checking out. Cons: - confusing to get there - $25 mandatory valet parking ( paid at an outside window) - no robes in our room -must call room service for ice

Classic and stylish hotel. Everyone was very friendly, the service is great and I had a great experience. I will definitely return.

Booked and paid for a room with King- sized bed well in advance. Received two full-sized beds. Notified hotel staff of the problem. Was advised there was nothing that could be done because they didn't have any more king size beds available. Hotel was very hard to get into. Beware valet parking only for $26.00 a day! No vending machines on property just a $3.00 can drinks and bottles of water and $2.50 single candy bars or $4.00 for a package of cookies!!

only bad thing was a rattling ac vent that i tapped with a stick every now and then to quieten.

I bought through hotels.com for this hotel and I was totally shocked with what we got for such a great price! It was such a great hotel. I would stay there again and I will be using hotels.com more often!!! Thanks!

There's not another Hotel in Dallas that compares with the opulence, value and service that you find at the Adolphus. Where else can you have high tea or a cocktail from the bar in a baroque lobby with multitudes of coxy chairs, then retire to your beautiful room, filled with antiques and old world style? Room service is outstanding and the staff are always attentive and smiling. I go every time I come up from Houston, and the hotel always wipes away the agony of that long, boring drive. My kids even love it. I highly recommend the Adolphus to anyone looking to stay in historic Dallas.

This Hotel has always been a comfortable stay but this particular night the room smelled like smoke. After telling the receptionist she did nothing .I will be trying another hotel

Hotel was clearly well-kept, but dated. Well appointed rooms could benefit from a little updating. (The toilet in our room looked like a fossil from the 80's). That being said, the staff were helpful and courteous and the room was clean. Proximty to downtown business district, restaurants and nightlife was a plus.

A very historical hotel, you have to love old buildings to like this place. If you want modern and hip, its not for you. Rooms were large and comfortable. We asked to stay on the haunted floor (daughters request) I asked with a grin to the front desk. But at 3am we woke to running in the hall that seemed to repeate itself with 10 steps and then started again from where it started. Didn't think much of it until something tapped me on my hip 3 times. Yah there someone running around up there and its not the bellboy! Spooky fun on the 19th floor. We even had the phone ring once on us when we got off the elevator...people have capture that on youtube.

Our room didn't have towels. Or shampoo. The bathroom was a joke. Most of the decor clashed. The bathroom lampshades were burnt through. Not at all attractive. The Magnolia runs about the same price, is right next door, and is far nicer inside.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The personal were very nice, the rooms clean and comfortable. I shall also add that the room service was great and the food exquisite. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

Please include a continental breakfast information in your hotel rooms.

Unexpected elegance and style permeate every part of the experience at the Adolphi from the staff, to theceell opportioned room . Special mention to the French Room restaurant- for its menu staff and ambience- it deserves each of it 5 diamonds!

Everything was great the entire stay, every single person with a uniform on in this hotel was so helpful, the rooms were clean with fully loaded towls and everything that was needed.

Our stay at the Adolphus was wonderful. Cound not have been better

We love staying at the Adolphus. It is like stepping into Europe. The rooms have been restyled and they are lovely. They need a bit more light and the AC did not cool down at night as much as we would have liked. The restaurants in the hotel are fabulous. We would definitely stay at the Adolphus again in the future.

I thought the hotel was dark. The room we stayed in we could see out of the window because of water damage. We couldn't eat a meal in the dining area, we had to eat down in the bar area. There was no pool or hot tub to be able to get into and enjoy ourselves and unwind from our trip. I expected more the amount of money we spent each night. I just didn't find it to be very accomodating n won't stay there again.

It was Magical! We sat by the Christmas tree in the main lobby and felt wonderful. Enjoy!

When I pulled up to unload my luggage, instantly there was a concierge waiting for me to assist. This young man was warm, friendly and had a great attitude and pride in his work. The desk clerk was also warm, friendly and proud of her position as she helped me check in. My luggage was taken up to my beautiful exquiste and lavishing room where everything was gorgeous. The view of downtown was marvelous. I could not have asked for anything better. My boyfriend was elated that he had a dream come true on his special birthday. Thank you for a wonderful visit and the French Room may I add was undescrible. You had to be there to understand what I am saying. The mood, decor, staff, everything was really nice. It made my boyfriend feel so special. He was KING for the night.
