Adolphus Hotel - دالاس

Definitely a good solid hotel. Good for business travellers . A little distance from nightspots but some decent locations nearby. Would stay again

This is a World-Class Hotel. i have never been more satisfied with my hotel experience than i was with the Adolphus. The staff was wonderful, the facilities were top-notch. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone, you won't be dissappointed!!!

Great hotel with a perfect location.

I was a little apprehensive when I first booked this hotel. What a pleasant surprise! Large room, free wireless, great service, kind of an old world feel to it. I would absolutely stay here again

simple things missing or not done: no shampoo in room, requested additional pillows and never arrived, and failed to clean our room on our last night there. despite the fact that the location is good, the rooms are spacious, and the lobby is sumptuous, i would not stay there again.

I made a reservation through Hotels.com for a room with 2 double beds. When I arrived, I was told that they would not honor the fact that my reservation was for a room with two beds. So, I got a room with one queen size bed that my family of four had to share. Because of a large event at the convention center, which was nearby, there were no other hotels with vacant rooms, so we had no choice but to take turns sleeping on the floor for the two nights that we needed to be there.

Was not at all satisfied with our stay at the Adolphus hotel. We originally paid for a Deluxe King Bed Suite through Hotels.com. When we checked in they stated they no longer had a King bed available. They mentioned there reservations take priority over a outside source. The room a/c unit made a horrible noise when it would start up every single time that kept us up all night long. Along with the room being next to what sounded like the elevator shaft next door. The next day we talked to the front desk and they said they would take care of it. When we returned that evening the a/c unit worked better but by the time it was time to go to bed the noise was the same as the night before. By then it was to late to move to another room beings we were going to check out the next morning. Over all it was the worst stay we have had at a 5 star hotel. Will not recommend this Hotel to no one.

Had a very good stay, and great service by the staff. Would definitely reccommend staying here

I was visiting my daughter, who lives in the downtown area, and couldn't have been happier. The room was very comfortable, and the hotel itself is beautiful.

Very satisfactory stay in the heart of turn of the century Dallas!

We were in Dallas for 4 nights for a family event over Easter and saw a great rate for the Adolphus so thought we would try it for the first time since we had heard so many great things about it. I believe this is a historic hotel and the lobby and common areas are extremely well maintained and beautiful. There is a picture of the king and queen of England in the lobby from their visit in the 1990's. I believe there is also a story about the piano by the bar that was supposed to go on the Titanic but didn't. The lobby/valet/bar service were excellent. When we got off the elevator for our room on the 14th floor I could definitely feel the hotel was dated. Our room was nice but I expected more elegance. The bathroom was dated, probably renovated years ago. Here was our huge problem.....trying to get cold water. At first the hot water put out cold water and the cold faucet put out hot, but that seemed to change throughout the day and bordered on the ridiculous. Even changing the water temp in the shower would take a long time for the temp to budge. It was like this for our whole stay. The soap they provide is very nice but doesn't fit in the tub soap holder. We received all our towels the next day. The day after that we only got one hand towel. The day after that was Easter and when I stepped out of the room I was asked if I wanted maid service. Since it was Easter I said no, only bring fresh towels. I only received bath towels and one washcloth, and they wanted me to pick them up. I did not as I was on my way downstairs. There was only one robe. When I tried making coffee in the room, I had one coffee packet that had broken open inside its package. I tried another packet and there were water marks on the coffee filter so I didn't use it. I was at least expecting liquid creamer in the room at a hotel of this caliber but it was dry creamer. The bed and pillows were wonderful. The walls were a bit thin and you could hear noises from the next room and you could also

Initially we declined the crib offered by thr hotel then changed my mind and called the front desk for one. An hour later called again and front desk said that did not where the cribs where located so we never recieved one

The Adolphus Hotel in downtown Dallas was wonderful! My husband and I were very impressed with the service and hospitality. We were a few blocks away from historic downtown Dallas and enjoyed walking to see the nearby sights. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone! The only thing we found wrong with the hotel was the cost for valet, $26/day. They don't have any self-parking so you pretty much have to valet unless you feel like walking several blocks.

Maybe because of the construction outside the hotel, it was noisy in the morning. But in terms of the service, no problem at all.

I booked a room at this hotel for mine and my girlfriend's one year anniversary. Upon arriving, I was really impressed with the location of the hotel, as well as the outside appearance. Clubs, bars, and dining are all within walking distance, which was great. The staff was also top notch. Infact, I personally had never experienced customer service so professional and detailed in any other hotel. From the valet to the doorman to the front desk worker, all of the employees I encountered were exceptionally courteous and friendly. The elevators that lead up to the room are abundant and speedy. There was virtually no wait time during our stay whatsoever on an elevator. The downside of our stay would definitely be the room. Upon entry, I was disappointed with the overall size of the room. The bed was a bit hard for my taste, and the pillows felt cheap and offered no support. The air conditioner took forever to cool off the room. One of the chairs in the room had a huge, easily visable stain on it, but other than that, the room seemed clean. The biggest problem was the water. The cold faucet only offered up hot water, and the hot water faucet offered scolding hot water. This made for a very unpleasant experience while brushing our teeth and showering. Despite these drawbacks, we had a pleasant stay, and I would say this hotel offers great value, although next time I will probably book elsewhere.

Many times I read reviews about hotels with "old world charm" and subconsciously shudder, imagining dusty corridors and moldy, aged rooms. This is not the case with The Adolphus. Charming, clean, updated, comfortable and central, The Adolphus was a highlight of my time in Dallas. Highly recommended.

This hotel pretend to be grandiose, but it isn't to European standards. The personal saw us, young with our back packs and looked at us like if we were second class. I am so sorry we could afford it! Furnitures look ancient but it's like being in a Disneyland for rich people, there is no story, no charm this hotel seems to be bought directly from a catalog. Location is nice and room was clean.

The hotel was wonderful, with exquisite, old world decor. The staff was polite, professional and extremely well mannered. It was obvious that friendliness and manners are prioritized in the hiring of staff. I will stay there again.

It's a lovely old hotel. My room was spacious. Service was good but my call for a missing coffee cup in my room was in vain. No one came as promised. Likewise, I had to ask for my laundered shirts and waited until they could locate 'em. The old lamp on my desk has an obviously torn shade and they were catching rainwater in a bucket on my (top) floor as it came thru the roof after a huge downpour. All that said, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat were I to return for work in downtown Dallas. It feels right despite the years, additions, etc.

Everytime I visit Dallas, I stay at the Adolphus. Hands down, the best hotel in Dallas. Great service! 5 stars!

The Adolphus is a beautiful hotel centrally located in Dallas. The only difficulty was the traffic around the hotel and the $26 per night valet parking charge is a bit much. The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. I'd definitely stay there again.

This hotel atmosphere was amazing! I would definitely stay here again!

I had a business trip at the World Trade Center and my wife tagged along. I thought it would be a treat for her to stay at the Adolphus. We hadn't been there in many years. Overall our stay was good, but we did have an issue with the plumbing. The first night our room had all hot water and I mean Hot water. We checked in late and it was too late to do anything the first night. The second, they put us in another room and it was better but still not normal. Also the valet is pricey and is a necessity so be aware of that. The rooms are beautiful and the building is amazing, but check your water right when you get there.

I will defineltly stay here again when visiting Dallas on business

We booked same time as friends and got $199. Rate for same Exec. Suite. They paid $129. Hotel would not honor same rate. Room right next to freight elevator all night long room vibrated and double doors shammed shut. No sleep. Never brought rollaway. Called at midnight and got security desk. No housekeeping or night services available.

Beautiful hotel! The only negative comment I have is the lighting in the bathroom was horrible. It was difficult to put on make-up.

The Adolphus is 100 years old this year and had all the comforts and luxuries you would expect from a grand old hotel. Bring dress clothes and visit the French Room, and go for breakfast in the Bistro. A wonderful experience!!
