The hotel was fine. The only comment I have is that it would be nice if the single traveller was given more choice in meals, such as smaller and more snack like, although good and nutritious. I did not want a large complete meal and found it difficult to get something smaller.

A conveniently placed hotel close to MTR station. Room a little small but clean with a comfortable bed. Food was good. Staff very attentive. My daughter was ill last day & staff member Andrew was very helpful allowed us a very late check out at no extra charge. He also rang to make sure she was well enough to travel. Very grateful for personal touch. Would definately stay again & would highly recommend.

Good location. The room was perfect for 2 persons, Free internet. They had salmon for breakfast which is a must for good hotels. Will try to book this hotel again.

the room is small for the price,baggages fees charge when you left for overnight (even the guest come back for staying ). Room and toilet light are not bright enough.

Eaton Smart is strategically located in Jordan. Food is found in every corner, from small eateries to nice chinese restaurants. There are 2 MTR stations nearby - Jordan and Yau Ma Tei. Room is small but very sufficient. I like the decor of the deluxe room. Comfortable bed and pillows. We've got a connecting room as requested which made it very convenient for us. The heated pool was a hit for my kids and I must say the gym was impressive. Last but not least, my compliments to the service of all the staff at Eaton Smart. I will choose Eaton Smart again for my next visit to Hong Kong.

It's a solid choice for the right price. Good location. The shower and bed were good, the most important things for me. One thing that bothered me is that they charged me for a premium internet service that I know I did not buy. So be careful with that one. A hotel should clearly give a guest the benefit of the doubt on such an issue; it's not that much money compared to the cost of the room. I fault the front desk staff, and would probably not go back, all else being equal, for that reason alone.

2days stay at Eaton ,room was not big as expected but clear , location was good and very convenience to go out for shopping or business . service is good . I asked one big bed room , no smoking , view outside no good because close to Nathan Hotel .

I really liked this hotel. Spacious and modern. Room was small but clean. Outside view not very good. Still I did only have a standard room so got a window view of the back office block opposite and not of the city (as advertised) Meals a bit pricey but lovely resturant. Standard internet was free and ok for me (just checking emails) Overall really nice hotel. Well located with metro and stations within walking distance. Highly reccomended and good value for a 4 star.

My only complaint is the standard rooms are extremely small, however, they are still very comfortable.

Pros: Convenient, good Chinese restaurant and breakfast buffet, efficient staff in checking-in and out, relatively clean, free internet. Cons: Tiny room (even by HK standards), old. For the price paid, we can't complain.

I like to comfort of the room. The location of the hotel is also very good with all shopping areas around the area. Moving around is convenient with the train station being nearby. Most important is that just by crossing the road, we can get a free shuttle bus to Tsim Sha Tsui Station to catch a train to the airport. Wonderful!

wonderful location to subway , bus stop or just walk

Our very first visit to Hong Kong. Eaton Smart is really comfortable and looks after you. Eaton Smart is in Jordan, an area which is busy by day and by night . It is 20 minutes from the Star Ferry. Ideal time to cross to Hong Kong. It is wonderful.

Very nice hotel, and great location. Unfortunately the concierge forgot our luggage when we arrived! But the receptionist went down to find them himself. nice breakfast buffet and also other obtions - so go for it if you are going to Hong Kong :-)

We had a comfortable bed, in a clean, quiet room in a great neighborhood. The staff were very accommodating and let us have a 1pm checkout to be more convenient for our flight. What more could you want? And then there is the location. Easy to access from the subway (Jordan stop). This hotel is near the Temple Street night market, and not far from the ladies market, goldfish market, flower market, and star ferry.

Enjoy my stay at this hotel as it location is great and everything is not too far either to walk or take the subway.

Location of Eaton Hotel in Jordan area is very good - near to MTR (about 8 minutes walk), bus stops, eating/shopping and places of interest, eg. Temple Street Market. The other plus point is the airport shuttle bus stop is opposite the hotel. There's also Tsui Wah Restaurant ('chai chan teng') opposite the hotel which serves nice and reasonable priced food, and other eating and shopping places around the hotel, which are within walking distance. Hotel staff are also friendly and helpful when I asked for directions to take bus. Will definitely recommend Eaton Hotel to my friends who plan to visit to Hong Kong.

It is good.

This is a very clean room although somewhat small.\ The bathroom was also very nice.

this hotel is centrally located in Kowloon, close to the subway station, nice shops and good restaurants. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They provide a nice personalized touch by addressing me by name whether I call for a wake-up call, or when I have a question at the front desk. The rooms are spacious by Hong Kong standards and very tastefully decorated. I highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay here again in the future.

This was one of the smallest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in - even in Hong Kong! But the room was clean and the location is great, close to the Ladies market and Temple St Night Market. The staff were all helpful and polite and check-in was very quick. It was a good deal for the price and I would definitely stay here again.

Not the most luxurious, not the least expensive, but a great balance. Love the rooftop gym and pool, the location you can walk to the Star ferry from (about 1 mile lined with shops, or detour through the park and see the birds. Best buffet in town. Friendly bar. Many trips to Hong Kong and the Eaton IS Hong Kong for me.

rea a few reviews on the hotel before we check in. kinda worried bout the room size. arrived at the hotel - impressed by the modern lobby, helpful and friendly conciege. even though the room is kinda old but its very clean. can accomodate 2 adults and 2 lil kids.

You can take the regular bus across the street to the airport. It cost less and only take about 45 minutes to the airport.

Clean, comfortable and very well located to the city center. Walking distance from great shopping and other attractions.

1. Even though our booking indicated ' breakfast not included.' when we checked in the desk told us it WAS included. 2. Room small, but not tiny 3. Lobby, restaurant areas very nicd 4. One mile walk to the Peninsula Hotel, where you could get the 'open top bus' and take the ferry to Hong Kong Island.

Good location in Nathan Road. An easy stroll down to the ferry terminal across to Hong Kong Island. The hotel itself was quiet, comfortable and the service efficient. The concierge was very helpful. Our room was cleaned to a high standard, the room was compact but certainly spacious enough for the two of us. Breakfasts were very acceptable with a good variety of food on offer from the buffet. The pool, while relatively small was big enough to get a few strokes in up and down the length and the gymnasium was well equipped. Would use this hotel again but only with a special room rate deal (which we had) other wise I would consider it too expensive.

We have stayed at this hotel before and were excited to stay again. But this time we were put in a tiny room with hardly any room to move. Just a bed and bathroom. We were very disappointed and will try another hotel in the future.

I can recommend the hotel. Rooms are clean and the breackfast was good. Fung was very quick with coffee in the morning! Good service!

The hotel is nice and clean, and has cozy surroundings. Metro and buses are in walking distance. The staff was effective, but we didn't experience any kind of special service, so though our stay was nice, it seems quite impersonal and somehow not-so-friendly. Besides our perception of lack of service, I will recommend this hotel and stay there again if necessary/possible.

Not a very good hotel. They don't even answer their telephone when you call in to speak with a guest. Not recommended

HOtel is conveniently located and the price paid was very reasonable, service was good, location convenient.The only drawback was the room was quite small. from the reservations of J. C.

I was with my wife and carred two suitcase.There was barly any room to walk.Rooms were too small and the bath rooms was ok.TO pricey.

The hotel was nice. I had a very small room, but it did the job. The room and the hotel in general were clean and the staff helpful with a couple of queries I had. I found the location useful as the hotel was just a very short walk from the Metro.

Comfortable hotel. Staff helpful but not proactive.Had to ask specifically and replies were adequate but no elaboration or alternative suggestions eg to attractions, transport , types of restaurants. Great location to shops ,night market , food and MTR (10min walk to Jordan MTR station).Free internet but often had to wait.

Had a great stay, walking distance to 2 metro stations as well as the night markets, and various day markets. Only downfall was the price for Wifi, which was ridiculously expensive, was only valid for 24 hours and could only be used in the lobby. They did have free use of the internet on PC's in the lobby though.

Close to all must see sights. Free Internet and Airport Shuttle. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Buffet breakfast was brilliant. We will be ookin again when we come next year 2012.

This hotel had great value for its price. I had a great view from my very comfortable room on the 13th floor. The room was fairly well insulated from the noise from the street. The gym is well-furnished with a full rack of weights, several weight machines and several cardio machines. The one drawback was that the hotel was not as close to the subway as I thought it would be, so walking to the main attractions in Kowloon ended up being easier than trying to take the MTR.
