Hyatt Place San Antonio - Riverwalk - سان أنطونيو

The location was good and backs the river. Some of the staff were not overly friendly and the room maids didn't clean up and replace dirty glasses. Nice sizes room but an extremely small bathroom and the air conditioner was too loud. Great full breakfasts and overall condition of the hotel was good.

it was good but the staff can make some improvements when responding to customers needs. beside that everything else was excellent.

We were quite pleased with the variety of items at the daily breakfast. There were some good vegetarian options. I particularily appreciated the free parking since I had rented a car. It was close enough to downtown to enjoy a quick 15 minute walk to get to the main arean of the riverwalk.

No Room service, Rest rooms very tight / small, A/C was not working properly

We stayed the weekend. Was a bit misleading in that it is a hotel on the river walk, but the back end if it. A lot walking to get the the "action" of the river. The complimentary was absolutely the best I've ever had. Great staff

It was ok. The young lady at the front desk during the day was pleasant, the Saturday evening one was very bothered by us when we purchased an evening snack. The room was a great size and had features not usually seen in other hotels. We stayed on the first floor, which was rather unpleasant. It was loud and the walls are paper thin, I could hear the baby in the next room loud and clear. The location was decent. It was about a 10-15 minute walk from the busy part of the riverwalk but it was a nice area if you want to stay away from the hustle-n-bustle. Though it was a decent stay, I will not be staying there again.

it was very nice enjoy my stay will go back again. I really like the staff they was friendly and talkative to the customers. Never felt like home, the room was excellent

Great visit. Service, quality, room space, cleanliness - excellent. Only criticism......breakfast. Eggs need attention.

We had a wonderful experience here at the Hyatt Place, as we always do. We wanted to stay on the Riverwalk, to take advantage of the beautiful walk and proximity to the downtown area. It is on the edge of the Riverwalk, so it's quiet and peaceful, without all the busyness of people walking up and down the walk, but it is an easy walk to the Plaza, Alamo, and Market Square. At check-in, we were given a map of the downtown area to aid us in our "adventure." The rooms are comfortable, nicely furnished, and clean, and a nice size for our family of five to stay. Breakfast is good, much better than most other hotels' continental breakfasts. I also appreciate the value that we got, as parking, breakfast, and internet is all included in the price of the hotel room, unlike the other hotels on the Riverwalk, that all include additional charges for parking, internet, and breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

While this hotel is techincally on the Riverwalk, it is 4 blocks away from the stores and resaurants. Nice sized room, clean, very good breakfast for free. Shower/toilet room was ridiculously small. the toilet seat was loose because the door bangs into it when you open and close it.

Rooms very clean and spacious. Great location, 10 minute walk to The Riverwalk, Towers of America and 20minutes to The Almadome. Pool is small with limited space and sun beads, but visited in April so not a problem. Breakfast choice is limited but good quaility. One complaint is the hotel bar shuts at midnight, and the barman gave no notice. In-fact seemed to enjoy telling us it was to late, despite being in the bar for a hour.

Could have been better

Girlfriend weekend get away was perfect here - 10 min walk to heart of Riverwalk but far enough away rooms were quiet. The inclusive breakfast was ok, but convience made it all ok. Free & plenty of parking. For a beautiful walk head out the back door and in the OPPOSITE direction of downtown - feel like your out in the country - great walk/runs!

This is a great location - walking distance to the Riverwalk and the historic district, with some great neighborhood restaurants and bars (e.g. Fritte cafe and a great little tap room (whose name I forget!). BUT, the toilet in my room had not been cleaned (a guy would probably never notice, but a woman would) and I had a cold, and barely there, drizzly shower. When I reported this - and I was nice about it - it barely mustered a nod and an apology from the front desk staff. There were also pizza and take out coupons under my door, which made the hotel feel cheap. This could really be a neat hotel if they took it a little more seriously. Next time I'll try the Sheraton Four Points across the street.

Ladies at front desk were friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. Quiet end of town. Convenient walk to everything. Clean, well stocked room. Would recommend.

We had a king room/suite with a large pull out sofa for our granddaughter to sleep on. There was a wall between us (no door) which provided some privacy, which was nice. The staff was extremely friendly and did everything they could to help us feel at home in San Antonio, giving us directions to places and such. The bed was VERY comfortable, but the best thing was the complimentary breakfast! Three different kinds of hot breakfast sandwiches, besides all the usual waffles, muffins, cereals, etc. Hot cooked oatmeal w/lots of toppings, & delicious grapefruit sections as well as a fresh fruit bowl of orange sections & melon chunks. Made me look forward to getting up. hotel is right on the Riverwalk .but a bit of a hike from all the shops and restaurants. But the weather was nice and we didn't mind walking. However, we took a quick cab ride home at the end of our evening. I would book this hotel again.

The hotel is nice, good breakfast, great staff. The bathroom is another story. I thought I was in a hotel in NY City. That bathroom was too small and cramped. Barely enough room to get around.

I had a great overall experience. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable as well. We walked everywhere, nothing was too far. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay again.

Everything is perfect except the AC is too noisy .

Consider the fact that you do not have to worry about parking, as it is included in the price (most hotels located along the riverwalk have very poor parking service, and charge at least 30-40 dls without taxes, and sometimes, the parking is for daytime only), the room size is larger than the average for this price, location is great (although you have to walk 1-2 blocks of blocks to get to the main riverwalk, but pleasant walk though), one block away from La Villita. Beds are comfortable, the continental breakfast is average. In summary, you get more than what you pay for.

I spent at least an hour searching for the best deal near the Riverwalk, and I fortunately found it. The Hyatt Place is a small hotel at the end of the Riverwalk and within easy walking distance of less touristy restaurants off the river. Breakfast was good, not great, but expect a mob scene in the small restaurant area which spills into the small lobby. Parking and WiFi are free which saves a lot, and the rooms are clean and spacious with large flat screen TV's.

the place and the setting was nice but housekeeping didnt do anything but make the bed and turned the AC off, did not empty my trash. and then then they take almost 60 dollars as a pre authorization without telling u. the hotel employees were very nice and helpful tho.

What I love about this place: - parking is abundant and free - not that far from the busiest part of river, and the walk was scenic - also walkable to market square & alamo - breakfast was free and delicious! I had hot biscuits sandwich with ham&egg&cheese, and anther hot sandwich with bacon&egg&cheese - room was spacious and modern - the staff was super nice and helpful.

We were in town to see 1st anuual Maverick Music Festival in La Villita so the location was perfect. They put us in a room on the 7th which is the top floor so we had a great view overlooking downtown. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast had a lot more variety than we were expecting. . .eggs, sausage, pancakes-waffles, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, juice/milk bar, coffee bar. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, the heat-air worked great. No complaints here.

We were very pleased at the size of the room and quality of items there. We were pleasantly surprised by the balcony! The hotel is a little ways away from the main riverwalk area but I liked not having the noise and business follow us back. Some other friends stayed at other hotels in the area and had terrible experiences so they had their reservations transferred here. The breakfast was not bad, a good variety and healthy options. We would definitely recommend it and stay here again!

Third time staying at a Hyatt Place hotel and has not disappointed once. Spacious, clean, and modern rooms. Staff was great with customer service. This specific hotel was close to the river walk that takes about a five minute walk to get to the main area. Recommend to choose this hotel if looking for quality and affordable.

Very nice, spacious rooms, great location....on the river but not in the middle.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by the proximity to the river walk, the staff, the size of our room and the quality of the complimentary breakfast. We loved our stay.

It's a little far of a walk to the riverwalk and Alamo but you save some bucks and get a decent room with above average breakfast. Safe to walk at night the few blocks to the river. Breakfast coffee excellent. Only down side is bathroom which is extreamly small - door hits toilet. Luckily the sink is outside of the bathroom.

The shower head had so much hard water build up the water only came out in a slow trickle and after telling the front desk staff she wrote it down on a list of other hotel issues and simply offered her sincerest apologies that I had to shower with a cup bc the shower wasnt working correctly. She asked if we had told management on the day we checked in, I wasnt aware we had to make sure everything was working correctly in the room before our stay commenced. Sounds like a job for soneone who actually works at the hotel.

Overall positive location, staff, cleanliness met our needs. A few minor room design flaws like toilet seat had to be up to shut bathroom door. For my spouse & I it was fine. Privacy & location a plus for us.

The Riverwalk is the big attraction in San Antonio. I have stayed at several hotels that were right on the Riverwalk before so when those were not available I booked this hotel. The rate was less than I had paid at the other hotels so I was leery. But I was pleasantly surprised. One can walk out the back door and walk a few blocks along the edge of the Riverwalk that is not commercialized and soon be at the center of all the happenings along the river. This hotel is just a few blocks from downtown. This actually made it more convenient to find off the highway and the free parking was a plus. The hotel seems new. The room was more like a suite with a large couch in the sitting area, a good work desk, a nice bar/kitchen area with a coffee maker and refrigerator and a huge television. There were modern fixtures and technology in each room. In fact the décor was beautiful throughout the hotel. My only negative was that our room had a shower, not a tub. But it was not a problem. The view of Hemisphere Tower out our window was well worth it. Oh, and the breakfast each morning was delicious with good variety of healthy and sweet food. I am definitely returning here for my next stay in San Antonio.

Very clean hotel and quiet neighborhood. Close to convention center and major downtown locations but far enough from the crowd. Free breakfast is worth of $20 which makes the price lower than it is.

The hotel was fine, but was a 15 minute walk from what any normal person would call the Riverwalk. It's on "the river," but about a mile downstream. No restaurant to speak of, and a very very limited bar. The room was nice.

I was very satisfied with this hotel as soon as I entered the lobby. It has a strong scent that reminded me a lot of the Aria in Vegas. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Riverwalk which isn't too bad for the price. The hotel and room was very clean and nice. The free breakfast had a nice selection and there were plenty of different seating areas around the lobby. The toilet and shower were separated from the mirror and sink which was nice, but the space for the bathroom was very tight/compact.Overall, a great hotel and I jjust might be back.

bathroom door could hardly close due to toilet and showerr room so small.

loved the room, great view and good size. very clean only thing was the bathroom was tiny and door hit the toilet opening it all the way. customer service was great, i had a problem with the breakfast and one of the employees was upset for us and apologized and gave my husband and I free lattes from Starbucks. great place to stay for us and our one yr. old.
