Albert At Bay Suite Hotel - أوتاوا

This hotel is minutes away from all the must-see sights. The staff are second to none, and I will never stay at another hotel in Ottawa!

for me/us-this is the best hotel in Ottawa!!!!!

Great stay - overall hotel is very good. Only concern was the parking situation - front desk not very helpful as parking extra was not mentioned on booking and parking rate is highest in the area 20.00 plus taxes a night. There is no signage or place to load/unload for check-in and the buses rush by so it is difficult to check in and get parking info. The underground parking is the only option for hotel guests and it is awkward and small to get in and out. At night there are not enough spots for larger vehicles and SUVs - very difficult for elderly or inexperienced drivers.

I was't sure what to make of the hotel as some of the surrounding buildings seemed a tad sketchy, however, once in the lobby, it was very pleasant, clean and welcoming. Staff were all very helpful and courteous. The hallway to the room was dimly lit and good do with a renovation, but the rooms were very clean. This seems to be a longer stay type property given the massive rooms. These are full traditional suites. Full living room, dining area and full kitchen. Two bathrooms, in the event you are having a business meeting, the sleeping area and the ensuite can be closed off. There is no desk which makes it a bit awkward but the dining table will suffice. Nice to have the pub / restaurant attached with an indoor access. Very convenient for breakfast or a pint in the evening.

The suite was very large for one person trip. A great location in Ottawa close to Parliament Hill and Market Square.

Staff are very helpful. The room is very clean, bed very comfortable. Having a full kitchen is ideal for more than a day stay. I would stay there again the next time I visit Ottawa.

I booked into the Albert at Bay for 5 nights on a recent business trip to Ottawa. I much prefer all suites to a standard room on extended business trips as they are less cramped. The only problem being is that most all suites are converted apartment buildings and tend to be very tired. I am pleased to say this this is not the case with the Albert. The suite was very spacious and clean and the furnishings fairly new. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and the location ideally situated in the downtown core. My only two complaints were the charge for the parking was fairly steep at $20 per day and the kitchen could have been equipped a little better. Aside from that my stay was great and I will certainly stay there again when in Ottawa.

Ottawa is a beatiful city, and the ubication of hotel is extraordinary to visit the touristic sites.

GREAT WASHROOMS, NEW TV'S AND COMFORTABLE BEDS AND PILLOWS.

A little bit of a walk to get to market and attractions.

Walked in and was amazed at how big and nice suite was. Desk clerk said it was one of small ones. Attendants were friendly, smiling and very helpful! Hotel near several places to eat/drink. Didn't get to bar/rest on site but looked ok! Rooms had ref/microwave/stove/dishes, you name it and it was there. i will definitely go there again!

We were a bit skeptical at first with the way the hotel looked on the outside as we first arrived. But you can't judge a book by its cover!! We had friendly service when we checked in. We were a bit disappointed that we had to pay $20 for parking as this was not advertised on the website when we booked. However, once we arrived into our room, which was really the size of an apartment, it was well worth it! We were amazed by the beautifully decorated living room. It came with a small fully functional kitchenette with dishes, etc. There was a plush couch with a large TV in the living room. Then we entered the bedroom which had nice furniture with another large TV. There was a washroom off the bedroom with a shower only. A second washroom was off the living room!! This was truly a great treat for my boyfriend and I! I would recommend trying to get a higher floor though. (we stayed on the 5th and you can hear some traffic below) They also have gym which I used. It had a treadmill with TV attached (bring your own headphones!) It was a great location, easy to get to main attractions (parliament hill, rideau mall). We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and renewed suite. Great to take your family very spacious and clean. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Expensive parking and very narrow, not good for vans!

We found every aspect of the Albert Suites outstanding. The rooms were exceptional and the hotel was perfectly situated in downtown Ottawa. We will definitely tell our family and friends and plan to stay there again this summer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This is the second time we have had the pleasure of staying at your hotel. Both times were great. The beds are so comfy. The only complaint we have is the parking. But the rest makes up for that and you don't sleep in your vehicle. Will likely be a return guest and have recommended your hotel to friends and family.

This hotel was in the perfect location for all that we were in Ottawa for. The suites were spacious and clean. Also had the best front desk staff ever!

This hotel is a great find. The suites are enormous and the hotel is within a 15 minute walk of downtown. There is not much in the surrounding area but it is very close to town. Could not recommend it more! Great choice in Ottawa!

Great place to stay...especially if you have guests visiting or kids staying with you.

I was pleasantly suprised by the quality of the Hotel and the service of the staff.I will definetly stay there again.

I found this hotel after a random on-line search. People gave it top marks. We wound up with a huge suite with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. For the price, this was pretty incredible. Great location and overall, a great stay. My only complaint is the front desk staff should know every detail of the parking situation in front of their hotel. We parked our car for free for the weekend but we weren't sure about the holiday Monday. The person at the front desk had no idea and didn't do anything to find out. We checked around ourselves in the end. Otherwise-a wonderful experience!

Everything was great; the pull bed is a little on the uncomfortable side.

My wife and I stayed there for 1 night and were extremely pleased with the room. I booked and paid for a basic room with a queen size bed but when I checked in I had a huge suite - 2 queen size beds in a closed bedroom, large living room and large kitchen. Everything looked new or was recently renovated. Bathroom was also large and looked new. Will definitely stay there again!

Very spacious, clean loved the 2 bathrooms gym, would definetly stay there again espacially for the price we paid.

We wanted to bring a home cooked Easter dinner to our U Ottawa attending son, and we were able to do just that at the Albert at Bay. Suite was very spacious with full kitchen and place settings for four. We were 5 for dinner though and needed more plates, cutlery, chairs, etc. Housekeeping had them at our door in 5 minutes!! Bed and even pull-out sofa were very comfortable. Front lobby staff were very helpful and friendly. All in all tremendous value for money!

we had a really pleasant stay. the rooms were quite a bit larger than we were expecting (living room, bedroom, kitchen, 2 baths, and a balcony). hotel staff were nice and friendly, and there is a breakfast place around the corner. the only thing that was a bit worrying was the door to the suite. it did not stay shut properly and there was too much play between it and its frame.

Very spacious modern suite with kitchen and large living / dining room area. Within walking to almost everything. Excellent hotel.

For those interested in visiting the Parliament Building, Mint, National Gallery, etc. there are other hotels a fair bit closer. Nevertheless, we wanted a suite hotel and the Albert is excellent and within easy walking of most central Ottawa attractions. It is also much cheaper than other suite hotels we checked about. The one-bedroom suite was roomy and the beds comfortable. The staff were most accommodating. When we called to say there were not enough bath towels for the number of people in our party, they were immediately delivered to our door. The restaurant in the building is excellent.

Wow! This hotel is really amazing. It was convenient because there was many plaza or shopping center around for us to buy daily necessities. There was no need to go out and eat everyday. We would cook in our kitchen. It was fully equipped. Amazing experience. Will choose this hotel again when I go down to ottawa.

reception : high hospatility room: terrific gym: very good especially there is a sauna room parking: this is the only thing that annoyed me a bit small room for the car to enter the underground parking, in addition the mobility inside the parking was a bit difficult.
