Marriott Melville Long Island - ميلفيل

Problem #1: Hotel did not honor request for two full beds. Instead, both rooms had a single king bed. Problem #2: No conjoining rooms. Problem #3: Room dirty at time of promised check-in. Problem #4: Dance rehearsal was being held on premises. Consequently 45 seven-year-old girls invaded the pool and were out of control in the hallway. Despite Problem #4 was not explicitly the fault of the Melville Marriott, I was completely disappointed. I am a loyal Marriott customer during my trips. Next time, I have no problem looking elsewhere.

Originally I booked the wrong night for the conference I was at. Thanks to hotels.com, the hotel readily switched the night without charge. Good location for what I wanted, nice front desk staff.

Good location. I was disaapointed when asking for a room near the elvator and was given a room about 3/4 of the distnace to the farthest point on the floor. I did get a room much cloer when I called the fornt desk. Teh fitness room was lacking. did not look likie there was a amintenacne contract on the equipment. The arm rest pads on the excecycel were missing, and the audio jack was also missing. Not much good when I'm looking at the TV monitor unless I can read lips.

The Marriott is attractive and elegant in a modern sense, offering comfortable accommodations with solid amenities. Cleanliness is "good" and the lobby with skylight is impressive. We had a very nice short stay, and the staff was certainly very polite and helpful. A pretty solid value for only slightly above value rates for the area. The little bit "extra" you pay is worth the touch of luxury in return.

Beautiful with indoor terraces and breakfast well worth it

Friendliest, most eager-to-please staff I've ever encountered. We were very impressed!

As a woman traveling alone, this was just the place for me. Service was wonderful. I dined on site and the service there was also fast. Menu variety was surprising and my dish was delicious. I enjoyed the fitness room as well as the pool.

Excellent service. The people working at the hotel were friendly, engaging, courteous, and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

My only complaint about the stay there is the breakfast buffet in the morning. The eggs was terrible because it's been sitting there probably for a long time. And the potato was very dry. And the rest of not so bad.

The bathroom inside of the room is very small and inconvenient. There was no place for me to get ready while my husband took a shower. you couldnt get into the closet if someone as trying to get in the bathroom. The whole layout was horrible. I would not have stayed more than one night. We had a party in the banquet room, the food was not up to par.

Yikes. Pubic hairs in the washcloth! No need to say more.

We stayed at this hotel for two days and everything was just great. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean and comfortable. It is a very busy hotel and they have several meeting/banquet rooms so its a very active place. The pool looked nice and clean though we did not have time to use it. I can't tell you anything about the restaurant either because we went out for our meals.

Nice place, very attractive interior. Reasonably priced. Went above and beyond to retrieve a lost article and ship it to me.

I would definitly stay here again, people were polite, they gave us complimentry ice cream and soda. I loved the room clean and relaxing. Next time I visit I will bring my whole family. Thank you so much for you hospitality.

WE WERE UNABLE TO WATCH ANY REGULAR TV STATIONS. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO WARCH THE LOCAL NEWS STATIONS

Good looking hotel interior, cool atrium and pool area...Large hotel means high traffic and extra noise as well...ask about conventions and meetings before booking

it is a good Marriott. People are friendly. Two problems. My bathroom had blood smears on the wall. Not nice. Also my room was located across from the ice machine. I thought it was a truck when someone used it. Very noisy. Do not get a room near the ice machine or ask for the optional ear plugs.

Simple arrangements. Nice set up to the hotel. Nice sized bar on main floor. Very friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Not much of a view because its an industrial area but that makes it a little easier to get around at the same time.

Noisy: few wedding rooms across the balcony/hallway. I wish it would be broad to my attention during check-in. Wi-Fi not free - you have to pay. Mouth wash - none. Bead - mattress worn out with big ridge in the middle. Privacy - room had to entrances: one from hallway - it's OK, second -sliding glass door into the public balcony/hallway - it is NOT OK, people walking, talking, kids running, screaming. Cleanliness - I found disposable shaver on the floor. Breakfast - like every other hotel, "exciting breakfast buffet" (irony here). Conclusion - either they pull it up or Forget about it!

The hotel was great. There was a high school reunion in addition to the guests I was with and waited 1 hour for a not very strong drink. We also waited 45 minutes after asking for the check! It was very frustrating. There were no other options in the area but for the cost of the drinks I'd just skip the bar next time.

The place is nice and the rooms were as expected. I would prefer to have two King Beds rather than two queen size beds. My wife and I are getting older and heavier, so the extra space would be helpful.

The room is very comfortable, great tv and bedding is extremely comfortable. Also like that I can go for a swim if I want.

Very adequate accomodations at a reasonable price in a good location. Would definitely recommend. Clean hotel with good amenities.

I had booked this hotel for my WEDDING NIGHT. The building was beautiful. A nice giant room when you first walk in. BUT. The service that I was shown was horrible from the front desk. Every two words from the desk was "well you booked through Hotels.com so..." "The room Hotel.com room is not ready yet." "I don't know if the room that you reserved through Hotels.com has this or has that." It got to the point where I said "why do you keep repeating Hotels.com to me. I know where I went to book the room, and since you obviously have a problem with people who use this service, which this hotel does than why not stop listing on their site." At this point I asked to see the supervisor. SHE WAS THE SUPERVISOR. I was very happy with the service in which I had recieved through Hotels.com, and will use again. But I will never go back to or tell someone to go to the Marriott in Melville.

We were looking for an affordable option for a one-night stay in Long Island and this did the trick. First room was REALLY noisy (I think the filter for the pool might have been directly under the room), but we were promptly moved to a new room and slept like babies.

Great comfortable large private rooms, onlything we wished for would of been a 2 person tub :-p but it was a great stay friendly staff good food
