The lobby is very nice but the rooms need to be updated. very old and a little smelly! room service was good though!

Room smelled so awful I had to move to a different room that was slightly better. The floors were dirtily and the bathroom had some plumping removed and just capped off. Loud drinking locals outside thin windows at night and dogs barking in the morning. Took an extremely long time to check out.

This hotel served as a good starting place for my stay in Rio. It was close to the beach and also not far from major attractions. Great service and breakfast buffet.

My friends and I booked this hotel for our stay in Rio for the anual Carnival and we definately couldnt have asked for more! The staff were helpful even when you wanted to arrange city tours and ensured you reached your location safely. The transfers to the airport were readily available and cheap! The room was spacious and well decorated with a modern bathroom suite. The view from the rooftop (pool area), was beautiful! You could see along Copacabana Beach for miles! The breakfasts and lunches provided were really nice with a good range of foods and drinks and the staff were very helpful and accomodating. I would definately recommend this hotel to top off your stay in such a beautiful city!

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights during the carnival. All the prices were extremely high due to the carnival. Also the hotel was quite expensive but compared to other hotels reasonable. - Good location (next to copacabana beach). - Friendly staff - Clean and tidy

This hotel has great, super-friendly staff, fabulous breakfasts included, and a great location, just one block from the beach, in a lovely neighborhood. We had a great visit and recommend it highly.

This hotel by far is the best hotel in Rio. The poolside view n hotel staff are by far the best i have ever encounter. A definitely must stay for anyone

We stayed in this hotel during our Trip. It is located in a nice neighborhood. You can take the hotel umbrella and towel and take it to the beach. The staff was friendly and nice. Not every one speaks English. Only some in the reception spoke English. The internet was pricy but was able to use the 1 minute free service effectively for mails and basic browsing. The breakfast buffet is very good. did not use the swimming pool or sauna.

Good hotel, well located close to Copacabana, nice pool and pool bar on top floor (if needed, as Copacabana is a few footsteps close).

The hotel is very old. The air conditioner did not work at summer time in Rio, had the worst night ever. Not worth it.

The hotel was good enough. I think the location is good only if you want to go to the beach and not bother with Copacabana. If you want that action, don't stay here. The rooftop pool was a major disappointment since they did un-announced maintenance and it was closed. Even when they finally opened it, the atmosphere was less than desirable. I think they could liven it up at happy hour or something...they are missing out on something there. The neighorhood was a little noisy and dirty too. But, the staff was helpful, it was clean, nice views and close to the beach. Oh, and the food at the restaurant wasn't that great, to be honest.

Pluses: One block from the beach. Spectacular 360° rooftop and gymnasium views. Free breakfast buffet. Helpful staff. Clean room. Great price. Minuses: Some funky odors on some floors--maybe ventillation issues?; Our room was on the "mountain" side of the hotel and the windows weren't soundproof at all--even from the 16th floor you could hear street noise. You have to pay for WiFi. A long walk to the nearest metro station and bus stop, but it's doable.

an average hotel, it served its purpose. my shower did not have a shower head, rather a pipe that splurged out water but the hotel was in a good condition and the room comfortable. not the best location; 15 minute walk from the nearest metro station.

This hotel is located one block back from Leme beach which is adjacent to the famous Copacabana Beach. The hotel is in a residential area which has great views from the roof top. The lift stops on the 18th floor and you have to walk the final 3 floors. The pool was being maintained during our stay so no swimming, they didn't advertise that either. Also, the gym equipment is very dated and some of the machines that have cables are broken so you can't use them. We found that the hotel smells something similar to damp, this smell is in reception and on our 12th floor although you don't see water anywhere. Whilst waiting for a lift on our floor the lights go out every 7 seconds so you have to wave your arms to trigger then back to life otherwise you stand in the dark. Breakfast is very good although the table mats are grotty and need replacing. The staff are really friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are very basic and the price reflects this.

No geral a estadia foi boa como resalva apenas o fato de terem recolhido junto com os lençois do quarto uma camisa minha que só observei na saída, e ao acharem a mesma informaram que me mandariam a peça cobrando o valor do sedex, e voltaram atrás quando retrunquei, dizendo que o custo será deles. Até a presente data a camisa não chegou.

Bra hotel , hvor du får det du betaler for. Nydligt svømmebasseng på taket på hotelet . Fantastisk utsikt. Veldig bra service fra A til Å på dette hotel.

A recepção do hotel esta muito bonita e moderna porém o quarto, fiquei hospedada no 1534, estava muito aquém do aceitável no quesito higiene, era impossível ficar descalso pois o piso estava escorregadio e grudando. O boxe do banheiro com fungo marrom, sem falar no teto que era mofado. Faltou limpeza.

O hotel não tem isolamento acústico algum. Fica de frente a uma rua agitada onde as buzinas são uma constante. Há tb alguns bares bem em frente. O barulho que vem do corredor e dos outros quartos também é alto. Passei metade de uma noite ouvindo uma discussão entre um casal de hóspedes vizinho...

De prijs kwaliteit komt niet overeen voor een 4 sterren hotel. De kamers waren primitief; een verouderde badkamer zoals verroeste sproeier in de bidet, het hout van de badkamerdeur kwam los aan de onderzijde, verouderde witte zeepvlekken in de douche, slecht onderhouden sanitair. Het oud op nieuw feest was zeer teleurstellend voor het bedrag dat wij betaald hebben. Hiervoor hadden wij een veel hogere kwaliteit en service verwacht. Bij aankomst bij het feest was er geen ober aanwezig om je tafel aan te wijzen en te weinig zitplaatsen. De muziek was veel te luid bij het eten. Het menu omvatte soep, rijst, spaghetti kip en dessert. Dit is een oudejaarsmenu naar mijn mening van derde rang. De lift was buiten bedrijf tijdens het feest, waardoor mensen die slecht te been waren genoodzaakt waren om 3 verdiepingen naar beneden te lopen.

A minha estada foi no período de festas de fim de ano e o hotel estava lotado. Apesar do intenso movimento de hospedes, os funcionários do hotel foram atenciosos o tempo todo e esmeraram-se para facilitar as coisas.

Funcionarios prestativos e MUITO atenciosos. Boa localização, cafe' da manha rasuavel, mas o hotel esta' precisando de reforma. Fiquei num quarto antigo, que era apertado, com uma cama de casal pequena e desconforta'vel , decoração terrivel e o banheiro...(sem comentarios). Pedi que nos mudassem de habitação e nos comocaram em um apartamento que acabara de reformar. Era um pouco melhor, pois as paredes estavam mais claras, porem a cama era igual e o banheiro quando ligavamos o chuveiro escorria agua por todos os lados e o vaso que era de modelo quadrado, tinha um acento redondo. Enfim, horrivel. Super desconforta'vel.

O Banheiro do apartamento estava sujo quando fizemos o check-in, Como só fiquei uma noite não pude saber se no dia seguinte seria limpado. A vizinhança do hotel é barulhenta O pessoak do hotel é atencioso.

Der er en forfærdelig lugt i hele hotellet (pga. fugtskader og dertilhørende svampe infektion) Restauranten er piv-ringe med dårlig service og kun en meget meget ringe buffet (ingen a la carte). Slet slet ikke pengene værd!

Primeiramente gostaria de deixar claro que escolhi esse hotel pois li no site do Hoteis.com que ele tinha dentro do quarto banheira, fator que era importante para mim na escolha do quarto. Ao chegar no hotel fui informado que nenhum dos quartos do hotel apresentavam banheira o que me deixou bastante desapontado. Outra coisa, para um hotel de 4 estrelas o Golden Tulip está bastante aquém do serviço esperado. Paguei caro pela diária no hotel e não me convenci que isso se traduziu em conforto e qualidade de serviço. A internet presente no hotel além de MUITO CARA não nos permitiu a simples navegação. Não conseguimos em momento algum navegar sem problemas na internet o que, para os padrões atuais, é um absurdo dado que o acesso a internet é algo mínimo e para o preço que estava pagando, deveria ser no mínimo sem trava alguma. Gostaria muito que o Hoteis.com retirassem da página do hotel a informação ERRADA de que ele possui banheira nos quartos. A iluminação dos banheiros, aliás, é péssima. O quarto, repito, para um hotel de 4 estrelas e para a média de preço da diária fica MUITO AQUÉM do que se espera. A localização do hotel é boa e os funcionários foram simpáticos, nesse ponto não tenho do que me queixar. Só achei a relação custo/benefício MUITO desbalanceada.

Sugiro modernização dos banheiros, pois são muito apertados, por conterem peças em desuso, como bidês, que podem ser substituidos por duchas. A academia está com muitas esteiras quebradas e não possuia água nos bebedouros nem funcionário para repô-las.

o Hotel fica bem localizado, porem ao entrar no quarto não havia cheirinho de quarto limpo, de ar fresco, recomendo abrir as janelas para ficar mais arejado. Quanto a cama achei usada demais, pois quando deitava eu afundava e os travesseiros muito finos. Quanto ao café, é bom, porém no domingo tivemos que tomar café em pé, pois o hotel estava cheio e não haviam mesas e cadeiras para acomodar todos que ali chegavam, nem lista de espera nada. O atendimento na recepção também demorou, tanto no chek-in, quanto no chek-out. No mais, tudo bem!

O hotel possui instalações um pouco antigas, porém está muito bem localizado. O serviço é bom e os funcionários prestativos. Pontos negativos: Restaurante fica extremamente cheio no café da manhã e os corredores têm cheiro de mofo. Pontos positivos: Localização, boa cama, bom banheiro, preço, atendimento e café da manhã gostoso.

O hotel tem um bom custo benefício para o Rio de Janeiro. A questão única é que é um hotel antigo, falta uma repaginação. Outro problema é que ele não tem janelas acústicas, o que torna o quarto barulhento.

Ótimo serviço, localização boa para andar a pé e pegar taxis, mas o estado de conservação é péssimo, banheiro muito ruim!!! Mas recomendo porque o preço é bom e da pra passar final de semana!

o hotel encontra-se antigo e com goteiras no 14 andar em parte do corredor. problemas na água quente da prumada fizeram com que tivessemos de trocar de quarto.

Personnel serviable, hôtel en ordre, piscine sur le toit => le top. Seul bémol: le comfort au niveau du bruit dans les chambres laisse vraiment à désirer => vraiment la catastrophe.

Anche se non è sul lungomare è a 20 metri dalle spiagge. La posizione è straordinaria. Forse non è un 4 stelle come descritto ma comunque per i prezzi di Rio va benissimo. Il panorama dalla sua terrazza è il migliore che si possa vedere da un albergo di Rio.

Vista impressionante, bairro central, a uma quadra da praia de Leme (junto a Copacabana).
