Baymont Inn and Suites Alexandria - الأسكندرية

I was in town for a one day trip. Had to arrive late in the evening and leave early the next day. The hotel seemed to have been renovated/remodeled. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. Would stay again if in town for a day or two.

Everything was fine with this hotel, except that when we went to breakfast, the eggs and sausage were ICE COLD. I think the can of Sterno that heats the pans must have gone out. This minor inconvience could have been easily resolved.

You can do better than this for the price.

The soap tray looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. There was hair in it, soap scum. The vent in the bathroom had dust collected on all the slats. The wallpaper beside the shower was peeling away. If they don't pay attention to the small things then I'm concerned about the large ones. I expect more from Baymont.

Clean spacious rooms and great service.

Stayed 3 nights, but room only serviced once. Discussed with manager and received satisfactory settlement

The road sign is kind of low compared to other hotel signs around location, so I had passed it up and had to circle back around.

Good hotel, nice room, slept well.

The front desk clerk was great. Very friendly and polite. I stay here at least twice monthly. Never have had a bad experience.

My 2-night stay was good. Staff was great, and very helpful with answers to my questions. Nicely kept grounds, but surrounding neighborhood was a little questionable. However, I would visit again.

The room that we were told that we were getting was not accurate. If I was to take another family vacation I would not stay at this Baymount...

We were a little apprehensive when we read the some of the other reviews on line but we booked here anyway and we were very glad we did . The staff just could not have been more friendly . The room was clean and comfortable . And the value for our money was second to none . I have family in the area and I will definitely be back . I just hope I can get the same deal when I do .

It was a great stay. The staff is extremely helpful and responsive. The facilities were well maintained, very clean and smelled fresh. Convenient location with easy access to the highway and freeway. Food options are a bit limited but within five minutes is every type of fast food or other restaurant. I highly recommend the hotel.

loved the room; would suggest cutting down on perfume-y air fresheners. Hotel personnel courteous and friendly. Continental breakfast was satisfactory. Hotel sign little hard to see.

Very nice , quiet hotel choice....the surrounding area had certainly been hit by the economy....but, the hotel did not reflect this at all.

the only thing that was good about our stay was the hot breakfast,NO MICROWAVE in room,slow wireless internet,the room had several warning signs about theft... made me feel like I was in prison...never again.

Location of hotel was great easy to find and close to restaurants and shopping . The lady who checked us in was very helpful. We went to ask about late check out and the guy was totally rude. Also, when I called to book a room the guy was super short and rude. I ended up booking through this website so I didnt have to deal with him. Our room was nice and clean. Over all I would stay there again as long as I don't have to deal with Thier customer service.

I booked a King. Got there, room was humid and remained that way, I turned the air as low as it could go but it did not help. The humidity wasn't a big deal, so I just stuck through it. But later, toilet backed up. I went to front desk, was given a plunger and told to fix it myself. I tried, then the toilet overflowed and ran onto the bathroom floor. Finally, front desk attendant decided to give me another room, a 2 doubles room (downgrade). In this room the TV did not work. The front desk attendant tried to fix it, about 15 minutes later, he gave up. I was given yet another room, 2 doubles again. The next morning, went to go get some of the complimentary breakfast to find out you are not allowed to take the food in your room!

Our room was filthy. Within five minutes, our 9-month-old son had blackened the knees of his pants, his feet, and his hands simply by crawling on the carpet. We went to the desk immediately, and while they offered us another room, the same thing happened in our second room. We chose this hotel (a bit more expensive than other options), because we hoped it would be cleaner. We also liked the convenient location.

I checked in on Saturday, Febraury 18th around 7pm and was greeted by Kenneth, the night clerk. I was originally assigned to room 163, which was at the very back of the hotel and asked to be moved to a room a bit closer to the front of the hotel. Kenneth was gracious enough to find me a room a little closer. I was then assigned to room 132. The room was fairly clean. I really did not have any problems with the room in the beginning but closer to the end of my stay I had a problem with the cleanliness of the bathroom area. I walked into the bathroom and noticed that the hair that I left in the bathtub the night before was still there after I had washed my hair and also the coffee stains were still in the sink. I addressed the issue with Ms. Cheryl Luke, who was the Manager on Duty and she offered to clean the room herself, after she told me that she had one of her "best housekeepers" clean the room earlier that day. Every house keeper should be one of the hotels "best housekepers". I told her that I would not allow her to clean my room because it was not her responsibility to do so being as she assured me that she had put her best housekeeper on the job and noone ever thought to check behind him or her. I travel a lot with my job and I am in the Alexandria area 2-3 times a year. I will not stay at the Baymont Inn and Suites again because if my room was not cleaned thoroughly while I was staying there, it makes me think that it was not cleaned well enough before I checked in. I recieved a great rate by going through Hotels.Com but unfortunately it will not be enough to convince me to stay in this particular hotel again.

Overall the hotel was nice. Clean room, comfy bed. Breakfast was just ok they had ran out of a few things by 9:00 (served till 10:00), most items on breakfast bar were breads.

Arrived at the hotel with a warm greeting from the staff. Not sure what to expect. The lobby deco was ok, but once I entered in my room I was impressed! It was updated and nicer than some of the more pricey hotels. The suite made it nice to spread out my work and enjoy the space. This is a place I will return to.

The outside appearance of nearby buildings makes it seem to be a little run down, but the room was in very nice condition and was exceptionally clean and well prepared for the guest in a very neat and precise manner. The cost was exceptionally low for the city of Alexandria.

Had a great experience at the hotel. Rooms were clean, so was the bathroom. Just may want to bring your own pillow if you don't like soft pillows. I recommend this place very highly and price you couldn't beat.

The hotel was clean. The room was clean but sheets were not changed. The breakfast could have been better.

all I can say is this hotel obviously has no problem hiring really unprofessional & rude ppl..the front desk lady that checked us in the night we arrived was so unprofessional, and made it seem like we weren't welcome there..her name is Jackie I believe, and she is by far thee worst hotel personnel that I had the discomfort to have ever met..idk if the manager just doesn't care whether employees exercise proper customer service, but my husband and I were very unhappy and dissatisfied with the poor servicr we recieved

Excellent value for the money; clean room, good breakfast, friendly and helpful front desk. Room was quiet as this hotel sits off the highway (which makes it a little hard to get to because of Alexandria's wierd access road system)... Would definitely stay there again.

While its not a top line location it was clean and quite. Good pool to relax by. The staff was very helpful. The internet Provider in the area has alot of work to do! Easy to get to MacArthur Dr. both directions. Good stay for the money

The hotle was great, even though I was a little concerned about the baseball teams that were in house. it was still very quiet and organized. I do have a concern about the slippery tubs. I was fortunate that I had a handicap room and had a bar in the tub shower area. Overall -great stay!
