Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel - لندن

The staff are great but I once again strongly discourage a discretionary charge being applied to the bill at checkout.

I could not fault anything about this hotel as it met all of the criteria for me to have a fantastic break in London. I particularly like the boutique hotel as you there is always a feeling of a more personal service. The hotel felt special and the reception staff were very charming and helpful. The location could not be better as it sits on a lovely square only one street away from a great range of shops and restaurants however lacks the crowds and melee of other parts of London which suited me. I would definitely use this hotel again and would recommend this.

If you are a tourist to the great city of London or business, this is the place to stay!! Great location! Great Staff!!

The staff were lovely. The hotel is a fine one despite the amenities like the spa and gym being located at the sister hotel which is about a block away. The room service food was good - and value for money. Close to all the good shopping. I would recommend it!

The hotel is very nice for the price. Unfortunately, aside from the hotel restaurant, your other dining choices are limited in the neighborhood. Mostly designer stores nearby like Harrods and Harvey Nichols, which if that's what you're looking for then it's ideal. The hotel staff was informative and courteous. The rooms were modern and spacious and quiet. The only recommendations I would make would be to have the rooms include rubber mats for the bathtubs as I almost wiped out stepping out a few times, and have an electrical outlet convenient for a hairdryer to reach a mirror so you can see what you're doing.

Had a fantastic 3 night break to celebrate our daughters 21st. The hotel added a special touch to our weekend by giving the daughter champagne & chocolate strawberries on our arrival :-) The hotel is kept immaculate with the house keeping & room service also fantastic.Breakfast room was very nice & pleasant with a good selection of continental or cooked to order food..The staff are a absolute credit to the Jumeirah Lowndes, always extremely courteous & very helpful...We will most definitely stay in this hotel again on our next visit to London

Very nice hotel with perfect loaction.

Everything was good except for the size of the room and for the breakfast. Although I got an upgrade the room was quite small and the breakfast is not worth the price. If you have to pay for it you might consider other options close by.

The Lowndes hotel was in a convenient location, walking distance to Harrod's, Buckingham Palace as well as the Big Bus tour bus stops. It was also relatively close to the Knightsbridge Tube station (highly recommend taking the tube from Heathrow because the taxi to central London was rather long and we hit a ton of traffic). The rooms were small (but this is expected for London). However, they were nicely appointed and the hotel staff was always VERY nice and tried to be helpful. I'd stay here again!

I travel a ton for work and stay in hotels all the time so I'm extreamly picky and this hotel was outstanding! They greet you with a warm lemongrass cloth at the door and take your luggage to your room. They turn down your room each evening for bed, including filling your ice bucket, and so much more! It was modern and very clean! The day I left was my birthday and they wished me a happy birthday and offered me a bottle of wine. Loved this hotel!!

A great hotel well located. We will stay again when we are in London

People are very nice. Hotel is modern and clean. Front desk was pushing upgrades from moment 1. Service fees advertised by Hotel.com as included were added to my final bill although labled discretionary. THE BATHROOM WAS IMPOSSIBLEY SMALL AND THERE WERE TWO SMALL DRAWERS FOR TWO PEOPLE. It is not a 5* hotel.

perfect Hotel location and all, though being a small boutique hotel it is still part of jumeirah group which has a good name. Staff were unproffessional and rude, which ruined the stay..There is no Buffett breakfast as stated in the room rates. In Lowndes hotel Buffett means continental Breakfast. and the rooms are all the same but only with different names. the only difference with the executive and the superior room is that it has a balcony, though both are the same size. Cleaning staff are very polite and well manerred plus manager, though reception staff are unhelpful.

What a great experience. The people were great and the location was wonderful. I would definately stay with Jumeirah again!

Small but cosy and well maintained hotel. The front desk in particular are extremely helpful and have to mention Ankit from the front desk, he was superb! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to the others! We stayed in a junior suite which was spacious and could accomodate another bed, we can only complain that the bathroom was small in comparison to the room. Overall a great stay and would definitely go back to this hotel!

I can't praise this hotel enough. Jumeirah in general impressed me very much when, after my cab driver dropped me off at their location in the Carlton Tower (just around the corner from their Lowndes Street hotel), the receptionist actually left her post to walk me to the right place. The service was impeccable - friendly, helpful, courteous, and very warm. It was uncharacteristically excellent service for London, which always leaves something to be desired - even the most expensive hotels seem to retain snooty staff. But the people at the Jumeirah Lowndes Street gave perfect service. My room was extremely comfortable, with the bed being one of the best I've ever experienced. The in-room Nespresso maker was a nice perk, too. In short, I don't want to stay in any other hotel in London ever again. Thanks, Jumeirah team!

The hotel is well kept with good service. The rooms have modern decor and choice of coloring scheme coincides with my nature. However, the king size bed was two twin put together. It makes sleeping uncomfortable. I would highly recommend that there is only one mattress rather than two put together.

lovely attentive hotel, only down side is the bathroom is a bit cramped, no real place to hang towels and for tall people not a lot of head room in the showers, otherwise fabulous

As a frequent traveler to London, I would highly recommend this hotel. The location and the surrounding areas were charming and great!

The location is perfect and the service is impeccable. The hotel seems to have been recently renovated, so it has a new, contemporary feel. However, the rooms are small. Most quirky was the bathroom and shower. A relatively small piece of glass serves as the shower curtain, so if someone is at the sink while the other is showering, they'll be splashed! It's very tight. The tub was extremely slippery and the knobs were not marked. A little experimenting was needed.

Definatly a must for comfort lovers who like to able to walk to good resteraunts. I would recommend this hotel very highly, the staff were polite, helpfull and very willing to please. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable.

My husband and I got a great deal through this website and went without any personal knowledge of the hotel. We were warmly surprised! The room was quite small however had all of the amenities we would have wanted and was very clean. Postives: Just a block from the train, Harrods and tons of shopping and in a beautiful part of London. Very good staff, make the stay feel warm and welcoming. Negatives: The restaurant was pricey and not totally worth the quality, we recommend eating elsewhere.

The Lowndes is a good 4 star hotel, but service levels keep it well below 4.5 or 5 stars. Simple things, like not having a full time doorman or good room service dining, make it impossible to consider this a 5 star hotel. Borderline criminal charges for telecom services ($1.25/minute to call a TOLL FREE number; $1.50/minute for internet access) make it a poor choice for business travel. It was adequate, it was comfortable, but not the experience it should have been.

The rate booked included breakfast and internet use. At check out the hotel insisted to charge us extra. Only a printed copy of the reservation through hotels.com could prevent this overcharge.

Veldig bra! Men svømmebassenget er i et annet bygg. Utrolig upraktisk, så det ble ikke benyttet selvfølgelig. Kan ikke spasere rundt i Krnsington i badeshorts;-)

Ett fantastisk hotell som anbefales på det sterkeste. Standarden var over all forventninger, ansatte var utrolig hyggelige og hjelpsomme med hva det enn måtte være. Rommene / bad var veldig fine/nye og ikke minst veldig rene. Badekar kommer godt med etter lange gåturer. Små detaljer som sjokolade på puten, vann i flaske på nattbordet og tøfler lagt ved siden av sengen hver dag det ble rengjort gjorde at du følte deg ekstra godt tatt vare på. Utover det var det svømmebasseng / bobblebad, internet på rommene, spa, golf simulator, treningsrom for de som er interessert i det. Alt var gratis utenom golf simulatoren. Orker man ikke gå ut og spise en dag så anbefales maten på hotellet på det sterkeste, utrolig god mat og service. Beliggenheten er ikke til å klage over heller.Trygt område som ligger 2 min gå avstand fra Knightsbridges (hvor du finner bl.a Harrods og andre div. kjente merkebutikker) og 10 min gå avstand til Picadilly circus og oxford street / soho. På veien kan du få med deg Buckingham palace. Vi kom via Gatwick Airport (må ta tog inn til London sentrum) og hotellet ligger 5 min unna central station. Hotellet bør sjekkes ut før det velges ett. Topp karakter og anbefales på det sterkeste.

Veldig bra hotell, hyggelig betjening. Små, men pene og moderne rom. Eneste som trekker ned var en dyr frokost på 30 pund pr pers. Ellers topp.

Stille og rolig område, grei nærhet til t-bane. Hotellet har ekstra belastning for rengjøring og uten kontroll på minibar belastninger. Små rom og ikke en standard som forventet av 5 stjerner. Vil ikke anbefale dette hotellet.

Hotellet uppfyllde alla våra förväntningar på skicket och bekvämligheter. Restaurangen provade vi inte men baren var bra. Rummet var alltid välstädat. WiFi på rummet fanns utan att det stod det innan, dock så var det otydligt att detta kostade pengar och hur mycket.

J'ai passé trois nuits dans cet hôtel avec mes deux enfants, et au moment de faire le check-out, j'ai appris que les petit-déjeuners n'étaient pas compris. Au total, l'addition était de plus de 180 £ pour les 3 petits déjeuners, alors que nous n'avions pris que 2 tartines et un bol de céréales...

Jätteskön säng, rent o fräscht o hög standard på badrum o teknik. Lugnt o välisolerat, man sov gott. Jag kommer definitivt att bo här igen om de har priser som är överkomliga. Trevliga frukostställen i närheten.

Quando reservamos 2 quartos vimos q o buffet de café da manha estava incluído. No fechamento da conta não concordaram, não tinham comput p hópedes, não tinham nada de facilities, teria q usar o outro jumeirah d lado oposto da rua o q não condiz com um hotel dito no site "5 ESTRELAS???". tive q voltar ao meu quarto pegar o meu IPad p encontrar o email de confirmação da reserva e ainda estava em portugues, queriam traduzissemos e ainda enviasemos p email deles. Mesmo assim queriam cobrar mini bar q nãããõ usamos, café extra de um dia acusando um consumo de terceira pessoa "um amigo" como disseram, Afinal depois de tanta ironia começamos nós a ter a mesma atitutde e finalizamos o check out sem as despesas "criadas de mini bar e café da manhã.
