Too pricey for this type of a hotel. Rooms are old need updating.

The ocean view, and proximity to the ocean, was great. Friendly, helpful staff. The room was a bit run down - loose handle on the sliding glass door to the balcony, bare spots in the ceiling stucco.

there were aunts in our room. The room service food was bad. Attitude of employees - seemed uninterested in satisfying the guests.

I stayed here two years ago, and completed a survey afterward, pointing out that the hotel itself is lovely, but the rooms need some work. I specifically pointed out that the bathroom door in my room looked like it had been kicked, as there was a dent big enough that the surface was broken, and it looked cheap. I received a nice letter from the manager thanking me, and assuring me they were going to fix up the room. I returned two years later, and I am assigned the exact same room, and the dent is still in the bathroom door! This is so sad, because the public spaces in the hotel are quite nice. A dent in the bathroom door is not a big deal at all, but it does reflect the general lack of concern for maintaining the rooms.

The perfect place...if the service was better. I spoke with the hotel 4-5 times while booking, and was NEVER told that reservations were needed WEEKS in advance to get spa appointments. This is a Resort Spa. Not one member of my party could get an appointment. Staff was a little snippy telling me "You should have known better" I realize New Jersey has tough laws on not serving alcohol to minors but they need to use a little common sense. I am a 57year old woman. I do not ever bring my ID onto the beach. Again, I was told in a snippy manner by a young worker, that if I wanted a drink at the outside bar, I needed to show Id. Really?? They expect their guests to walk from the beach (wet & full of sand) through the lobby , up to their rooms to get ID??? They lost my business. I walked into town with my husband and friends and had drinks there. I would love to visit the hotel again.(Because of how close it is and how nice the beach is) However, next time I will speak to a manager first. Make my spa appts., show my ID at the front desk and request a special bracelet to use during my stay. My suggestion to management is to screen their staff better. People on vacation are looking to relax and be pampered a little.

The hotel is too expensive,- it's not that nice. (Other hotels at this price has a much better quality)There was no minibar in the room, and the TV was really old and had bad connection. The only thing the spa had to offer a couple, was a couple-massage(no jacuzzi together) and that was not possible at the time. We stayed at several hotels on our hoenymoon, and only this hotel disappointed us.

We loved this hotel. The staff was wonderful and the hotel was very clean. We would have liked to have a small kitchen area in the rooms.....microwave and refrigerator. The meals were a little on the pricey side but the food was excellently prepared. The workout room over looks the beach which is wonderful motivation. Long Branch is a beautiful town and this hotel is greatly situated in this jersey shore location. We would recommend this hotel to another.

The key is the having the ocean and the convenience of all the stores and restaurants around you. The rooms and lobby could be updated abit. But overall we seem to always come back with the family.

If you'd like a weekend getaway at the Jersey Shore with a lot more class than the TV show, this is the place. The indoor and outdoor heated pools & hottubs (facing the ocean) make it a great location in good and bad weather. It is conveniently located next to Pier Village with numerous great restaurants and shops.

Was nice having an indoor and outdoor pool & hot tub, but both were dirty though and the jets on both hot tubs were only half working, ceiling above indoor hottub was peeling & bubbled from moisture since vents didnt seem to be working. Carpet in room looked like it wasnt vaccumed from pervious guest, found empty beer bottle in room from previous guests. No microwave or mini fridge. Only good thing was being right on the beach. Would NOT stay there again!

We really enjoyed our visit. The hotel setting makes it. Everything was clean and staff were nice. Loved the lttle pier shopping/restaurant & it's close proximity. The gym could have use towels and air cond. but equip met our needs and the view is great. Room was adequate and rated accurately. It's a little pricey for the type of room, but this is all about the beach and outdoor dining. the breakfast buffet was great. You feel like you went to a mini island outing! I would def. go again.

This place is amazing great service - food and resort. Would recommend it to anyone. We have already made reservations to go back.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was courteous. The beach was clean. I would definitely go back
