Best Western Hotel Los Condes - مدريد

Hotel is right off Gran Via but the street the hotel is on looks a little rough. Bed was comfortable and TV was HD. The breakfast was quite sad.

We stayed for three nights. The hotel is near the heart of Madrid. The room was very nice - clean and well provisioned. Windows opened to the street providing fresh air. The street was very quiet for the location. The shower was excellent, powerful with lots of hot water. The only minor issue was the gurgling of the drains in the bathroom (and occasional slight odor). Maybe this was due to the rain we had that week? We would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel down an alleyway from the Avenida de Liberdade. Wonderful staff. Did not try the breakfast buffet. Walked to the Prado and many other places of interest. Would love to be back at this hotel now as Madrid is great!!

We wanted a cheap central hotel for the evening prior to travelling to Toledo and that is what we got. The hotel is in a good location 2 secs from Gran Via and theatres and 10 mins from Puerto del Sol. The room was comfortable and clean, had everything needed for a good nights sleep.

Clean, relatively well located and super nice staff! The only thing I didn't like was the street fights at 2 in the morning lol it definetly get a bit too crazy at night specially if your coming to the hotel late. Other than that good, nice hotel that is affordable.

A little noise.

Very close to sights, great value for money if you not planning on sleeping.. but the rooms are hollow, you can hear your neighbour, both sides, upstairs and in the hall.. which is not great when you trying to sleep. Room is extremely small, not enough room to put your open bag on floor or table - had to have open bag on the bed when sleeping. So you have to unpack everything - if that works for you.

Great location, you can get every where by foot. Good service. Really good value.

Pros: good location close to city attractions, shuttle to the airport available, clean hotel room, friendly receptionist service. Cons: Not so good room service, our room was noisy close to elevator and at night you could hear street noise. Wi-fi internet worked in the hotel lobby but not in the room as advertised. Average morning breakfast.

The hotel is in a great location, close to everything and yet it is not in the hardcore which can be relaxing after a day of exploring the city... It has all metro station just around the corner and for people who are genuine tourist it is a great deal..

Clean, nice helpful staff, quiet, right on Gran Via- close to two metro stations or you can walk to all the main attractions by foot! Will definitely come back.

In the 2 nights there was an irritating buzz. They changed our room but the noise remained even 2 floors up. Won't stay here again.

Location excellent, close to 2 metro stations. Breakfast OK, not fantastic but adequate. Room was comfortable and cleaned every day. Staff helped with wi-fi connection issues. Staff very helpful generally. Storage cupboard for suitcases offered and used after checkout. One negative aspect - lots of TV channels but NOTHING available in ENGLISH. Perhaps they could include BBC, CNN or whatever.

Small hotel in a quiet street but in a convenient location near to metro station. Only used this as a one-night stopover but suited our purpose. Helpful and friendly staff. Good value.

Good value for money. Breakfast is good with a large selection. I stayed here alone and I would not recommend it for other single travellers. Although staff are friendly, there are no windows with a 'view' just close-up views of the next door buildings so felt isolated when in room . There is a lot of noise outside from people passing and people living close by. There are no English speaking television channels. I would recommend it to couples, families or groups.

The location of Best Western Los Cabos was excellent. Close to shops and restaurants at Gran Via. However, the room itself was less impressive. The single room I had was very small and old. There was hardly much space to do work on the study table. The electricity also short circuited on the first day of arrival. Which meant that I have to leave the room and bring my work somewhere else early in the morning. What was perhaps most uncomfortable was the strange odour that emits from the toilet. I have to close the toilet door in order to sleep in the night. Overall, good value for money if you are not spending too much time in the room.

I spent two nights at this hotel and for sure I will not recommend it. The room are very small and the bed is totally UNCONFORTABLE. I don't know if this hotel represent the Best Western standard in Spain, but it definitively not represent my quality standard. I have seen yought hostels with more comfort. The hotel is located in pedestrian street. Public parking is available in the area, but very expensive (89 € for 3 days). Staff in the hotel is ok, but they cannot fix a lightbulb if you are not in the room. Location is good near a commercial street.

It fulfilled a need. The room was very small, I think the term you prefer in your marketing literature would be "compact" There was everything I needed to be fair, but I could reach it all too easily without much room to spare. If I were to return I should not want to be put into this room (512) For that reason I would not prioritise to stay at this hotel again. One enormous plus however, was that the staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional and gave me a warm welcome.

The hotel was situated very centrally and was close to the metro. It was clean and tidy and the breakfast was ample, small room but a good choice and a friendly waiter. The hotel didn't cater very much for english people and only had 1 channel on the tv which was BBC World News. The hotel itself was fine however it was really noisy on a night outside and there was lots of banging doors internally.

The hotel is ok. The room has a good size, it was clean and with comfortable bed. I have not used any service besides the breakfast, but the staff seemed gentle. Its location is very good (about 100 from the Gran Via, 150 m from the Callao metro station, 5 minute walking from Plaza de Espana).

A lovely hotel, had a triple room. Only one comment to improve Wifi connectivity.

The hotel is very well located, close to 2 metro stations. Service by lobby staff is good. Transport system in Madrd is excellent. Totally, it is value for money.

Hotel was okay, but an ice machine would have been great. Needed a shower curtain because water leaked. Overall it did its job.

We stayed at the Hotel Los Condes for 5 nights in order to see Madrid and attend the Madrid Masters tennis. The hotel is extremely well situated for both tourism and transport to La Caja Magica (where the tennis is held), being very close to several well-connected stations on Madrid's efficient Metro system. It's set back from the traffic noise of Gran Via, so noise wasn't too much of an issue at night, other than the odd loud clunk, which I presume was from people on the fire escape. The rooms are small (don't stay here if you expect a vast and glamorous room) and quite 70s looking but are spotlessly clean and well-maintained. They don't have the advertised tea and coffee makers in the rooms, but will bring you tea and coffee 24hrs a day for free if you call reception, and the service is incredibly quick. Everything else in the room worked fine, though you have to remind them to switch the air-con on if it's under 30 degrees outside (the Spanish are used to the heat!!). The reception staff were incredibly polite, very helpful and spoke good English. The breakfast was pleasant and plentiful. All in all, a good budget hotel in a very convenient location in the centre of Madrid.

it is conveniently located to everything. If you are looking for a place to stay at night, which is ok. No other activities. It says you have a wireless. But it takes a while to connect to it. If you have iphone or ipad, you have to ask how to go through it. But it allows only one electronic item to connect. So if you connect your iphone, your computer or ipad will not be allowed. The price is ok but not great. We found another one with similar price, better location and same price.

Location was excellent. Front desk personnel was excellent, very helpful and professional. The cons were: problems with the wi-fi (very weak signal) and decoration looks a little outdated. But on balance we were highly satisfied.

Since it is a Best Western, you know what you are going to get, nothing fancy but nice. It holds to all the standards of a Best Western and it was clean.. The welcome shampoo and body wash are the same thing so i would recommend bringing your own. We didnt have any problems and everything was nice. The location is great for walking to all the popular sites. I would recommend it.

Pretty good hotel near the sites in Madrid and close to public transportation. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. Very satisfied with the hotel for the price we paid.

The location couldn't have been better, 90mts off the mail shopping street, Gran Via and easily within walking distance of the Palace, Temple de Debod, Cable car and all major attractions. the hotel is basic but clean and the staff are top notch. I booked my return shuttle to the airport for the wrong day and they sorted it out and we make it to the airport with plenty of time. The breakfast buffet is fresh and filling plenty to set u up for the day ahead. right beside a KFC and McDonalds with two lovely local resturants across the road on Gran Via at reasonable price. I would definatley go back again.

situated up a laneway, hard to find if your not familiar with the area. Nice hotel but much better available nearby for similar prices

I came by myself for a quick three day vacation in early March to Madrid from the US. I'm not really an experienced traveller and this was my first visit to Spain. The staff was friendly, spoke english, and helpful with questions. The room was very small, especially by US standards (maybe 8ft by 12 feet). Never felt closed in though. It was clean and had a good size bathroom considering the size of the room. The bed was hard, but it didn't bother me....but thought I'd mention it. The room had a TV with 30+ cable channels, only found one in english (BBC news), but that was fine, I wasn't there for the TV. The location was good right off of Gran Via. The hotel is located on a little side street off of Gran Via...slightly sketchy for that 1 minute walk off the main street, but nothing that would make me change my hotel. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but only because I'd want to explore other parts of the city and stay closer to those areas. Overall, this hotel was perfect for a first timer wanting to be near everything in central Madrid and for a very good price. Great location only a five minute walk from Puerta Del Sol and Plaza Mayor.

Fine for our purpose of visiting Madrid for few days. Close to the metro, many restaurants within 10 minute walk. Heart of theatre land. Actual location of the hotel a little of putting at first but no bother. As avid walkers we went most of the sites on foot quite easily.

Stay for 4 days & near central point. Breakfast - Good & helpful staff that I request hot water everyday & kind, nice to provide, especial restaurant staff is very kind & gentle- remember what I need, cheerful everytime. By the way, improvement for map that find in hotels.com -place is easy to find but unclear director

There was construction going in the hotel in which I did not know that when booking room. The water was shut off in the hotel for nine hours. They said for six hours, but not true. No alarm clock.

This is a great place to base yourself for a weekend in Madrid. The hotel is comfortable, reasonably priced and in a very good situation just off the Gran Via. We booked room only and with the offer of free coffee/ tea served in your room 24 hours a day it was very good value. Breakfast was available at an extra cost of 9 euros each. We had this the first morning but after that took the free coffee/tea and ate breakfast elsewhere.There were 3 of us in the one room. We had 2 double beds,one single and a decent sized bathroom with a bath. We loved Madrid- so vibrant and interesting. The bus from the airport to the centre of Madrid is only 2 euros each so best to get that and then take a taxi. Ole!
