Parc 55 Wyndham San Francisco - Union Square - سان فرانسيسكو

I stayed here 03/19/12. The front desk staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome. The whole check in process was about 5 mins. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast served in the lounge was pretty good, nothing spectacular. Now, location; this hotel is located just a few steps from Union Square where you will find plenty of shopping and restaurants. Also just steps from the hotel is the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station. Which will take you to the hotel from SFO or OAK as well as other locations throughout the Bay Area. I would highly suggest you take BART to the hotel or risk paying $50.00 to park overnight. The hotel states that you have in and out privlages, but the beauty of SF is that you never need to drive, the public transportation and taxi systems are much cheaper than paying $50.00 for a night of parking, and they're reliable. I will stay at this hotel again.

The Hotel is located in the middle of Union Square and shopping. In addtion it is within walking distance to the Wharf. I have found my many stays here very convient and a good value

Delicious continental breakfast was provided with the room. Would highly recommend this hotel - convenient, nice location to cable car route and shopping.

I was just passing through on business, and had never stayed in the Union Square area. The size of the room was huge for the rate I paid. After my business, I was able to walk around, and the location of the hotel is right next to all the shopping you would ever want to do! Staff was very polite and courteous.

This is the second time I've stayed here and have been satisfied both times. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Views of the city are unmatched! I've found the front desk staff excellent however food service and bar staff have been disappointing. The first time, I ordered room service (bowl of soup and salad) and it took +90 minutes to be delivered to my room and was nearly inedible. This time I was having a drink at the bar and the young female bar waitress was complaining about co-workers and her job for the entire duration of my drink! I'm sorry, but I'm not here to hear that.

Good Location, Walkng distance to Shopping, cable cart and public transportation. The only drawback is there is Lots of traffic at all hours, making it very noisy, specially at night.

The only reason for us not staying at your hotel again is the over night parking fee totaling over $50.00.

Overall I'd stay here again for business or pleasure. For newcomers to Union Square adjacent, the homeless/sketchiness factor is very high, but I've lived in Manhattan, so for good or bad didn't mind the interactions. Note also that there are no outlets near the nightstand, which is strange given that we're all plugging our smart phones in at night and using them as alarm clocks. I had a hotspot thankfully, as wifi was a steep $15 a day.

COnvenience of the hotel and the staff are very helpful. Other than the parking rate, I would highly recommend this hotel. We are even considering to use the same hotel whenever we go for our overnight getaway in the city.

The Wyndham is a good choice for downtown SF. Very centrally located, clean and updated rooms, comfortable beds. I found the woman at check in unfriendly and not very sharp, but everyone else was terrific. Good restaurant, but lousy gathering areas (no real lobby for meeting people or waiting). Also, they nickel and dime you to death, including for wifi, breakfast, parking etc. so I would take that into account. Overall, better than I thought.

Stayed there for a girl's night out. Three of in the room, but it was a very nice room. Comfortable bed, plenty of towels and nice big bathroom. Great service and hotel. Would definitely stay there again. Only negative was there was no fan in the bathroom.

Its a 3 minute walk from bart at the Powell street stop. ATM next door, Cable Car stop next door, walgreens, great food and night clubs one block away. Also the ART theatre and other places. Union square is a block away as well. The only thing we didnt do, due to the cost but parking at this time was $48 per day. ouch! so we elected to take bart. This hotel has people opening doors for you, greeting you and there is also a restaurant and bar upstairs.Have fun!

I've stayed here several times, but this was the longest at 4 nights. The hotel is great, the location is great, and the staff is great. My only complaint was the nightly garbage/recycling pickup that seemed to be outside my window (though I was on the 12th floor). Not sure if that was the hotel, or the neighborhood but it kept me from getting a decent night's sleep and from giving them 5 stars.

We were advised we received a free breakfast buffett. We were given a bill for $51.00 for two persons meal.

I was very impressed with the staff and how professional everyone was. The hotel manager Daniel J. was extremely kind and made sure my stay was comfortable. The hotel is very clean, and modern. The beds are very comfortable, and the coffee maker in the room is a very nice touch. There is coffee and continental breakfast in the lobby.

Highly recommend!

perfect location, good value, really nice room. no complaints at all. will go back whenever i need to stay downtown.

Having read some of the negative reviews about the service and friendliness of the staff, I was pleasantly surprised to find that both qualities were up to par for a hotel of this caliber. Management must have either taken action after those reviews, or staff was in better mood. Also joined Parc 55 Wyndham club, so I did not have to pay for internet. Parking fees were high.

Extremely friendly staff. Our room was a nice size and comfortable - overlooking the city. It was a corner unit away from the noise of the hall. Unfortunately the room shared a pass through door with the next room. I believe the three rooms in our corner all shared pass through doors. At times we could hear our neighbors as I'm sure they heard us. Maybe something to consider requesting not to have if capacity allows. Our room did not have a small fridge but we called room service and they brought a mini fridge up.

The 55 Parc Windham San Francisco Union Square hotel was conveniently located, just a block from BART, the Powell Street cable cars, and bus lines. The hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean, and we had a wonderful stay there.

I never actually stayed at the Parc 55 before, but I visted there quite often as it was the layover hotel for visiting flight crewmembers that I knew. It always struck me as quite nice and I was duly impressed during my first brief stayover. The rooms are small, but very nicely appointed and comfortable. We got a great weekend rate and the location was perfect for hopping on the Muni Metro early morning.

a clean room is #1 to me; and our room was super clean. the location is great - it is right by union square without being right in the mix of the craziness.

I arrived in the afternoon around 2:15 to find there were no rooms ready - I was directed to go to the hotel restaurant to wait until they called me (hopefully around 3:00) The restaurant wasn't serving their lunch menu anymore and when asked why they told me they were in the transition time between lunch and dinner......very frustrating start to the hotel stay. It did get better and the room they finally got me in was a corner room with windows everywhere....comfy bed - nice size bathroom. I was woken up in the morning by sirens outside at 5:30 am.....very noisy downtown area! The location was good close to public transit and right in the shopping district.

We spent three nights at the Parc 55, and we were very satisfied with the room and the service. The only surprise was the price to park the car at the hotel. Parking in San Francisco is expensive, but this was more than expected. I guess it's the price you pay for the great location.

I stayed at the Parc55 San Francisco on two separate occasions, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I had a Club Level King room both times, on the 28th and 29th floors. Fabulous views from both rooms, especially the City view. Breakfast was included too!

Don't give many perfect scores but this place is great. Much more affordable on the weekends than the week days due to the amount of business travel they do during the week. The parking at $48 is ridiculous but I usually can get away without a car because there is a BART station right outside the door.

Its a beautiful hotel but very expensive. THe location is convenient but not great having so many homeless around. I was surprised by how many people would come up to you asking for money or just harrassing you. Our room was nice and the view was beautiful but not sure it was worth the price.

The hotel and staff were great. Close to shopping and dining. Operator that took reservation assured us that parking was complimentary if not full. Hotel staff advised that this was not the case and that they could not waive fee but upgraded our room which was nice. I have paid for parking in San Francisco at various hotels before but this was highest fee ever, even for my oversized vehicle.

Well located. Hotel is very modern and classy. Great service. Would definitely stay again.

I reserved a shuttle to the Oakland Airport and I was assured to get to the airport by a certain time with no other pick ups. There were actually three pick ups and I was literally three minutes from missing my flight.

The hotel was walking distance to everything. The mall (westfield), bars and restaurants. There's also a burger king right across the street that closes pretty late, i think midnight. The only thing I would say that I didnt like about the room was the walls were a little thin. I could hear the neighbors talking and their shower. But overall the room was clean.

Great Hotel was very satisfied, Great People, Great Bar. Great weekend!

Bed was horrible,pillows were flat, ordered room service and while the food was fine we wanted a pot of hot water for tea . Which we had brought with us .. the tea tasted funny and when we opened the pot it smelled like a crap .. I mean like someone went to the bathroom in the pot .. called room service but they were closed by that time .. left a complaint with a manager but nothing happened
