Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel - كولومبوس

Nice hotel. Problem was there was 4 of us, and even though I specified that when I booked they gave a room with 1 king bed. When we checked in they couldn't switch us because they were booked full. Wi FI and Breakfast were not free either. Parking was valet, but it was $23 per day. I'd recommend the residence inn not too far away which has the same price but has free breakfast and wifi. Location was good though.

Although I booked this hotel partially for the quick walk between Renaissance and the Greater Columbus Convention Center, I also liked that the rooms were nice and the comfortable bed & linens were reported by other past guest. I had a room with a king size bed on the 11th floor. The room was very nice and clean. The shower was always hot and the bed provided a very comfortable and restful sleep each night. I walked to and from the convention center each day. I did not eat in the hotel or visit bar, but ot always seemed busy when I passed coming and going. I would definitely book here again and would love to stay just for a visit to the city to sight see.

I made reservations fine. Then called night before my arrival as I always do to make sure my reservation is in place. They said it was told me the type of room and all my questions answered. I arrive and they do not have the correct room and I get a horrible employee at the desk, she was rude...after waiting when I should not have had to I finally get a room. I called ahead and there should not have been a problem I was also very nice to all and to get a rude attitude back was horrible. All the other employees were very nice I wish I would have gotten one of the other front desk people. the next stay will be else where.

right in the downtown, walk to places you want to go to. shower had no door and no tub. for the price I was NOT impressed, slamming of room doors all night long.

Good room mostly. However, the bathroom is far too small for 2 people - heck, it is even too small for 1 person. The fact that the door has a hinge in the middle is a dead giveaway that there is no room in there. Also, left a bottle of water on my nightstand. When I came back, it was gone. I've never had that happen in a hotel before. It was an unopened bottle, so the cleaning people couldn't have mistaken it for a trash item. Kind of disappointing for this hotel.

OMG!! I wish I could find out where the matress cover and pillows were made!! IF I could only sleep like that at home! Great place am looking forward to my next Ohio visit and I am going through Columbus again!! And, going to stay here!!

This was one of the most miserable four days I have ever spent in a hotel. The reason - the bathroom. Whoever made the decision to outfit the bathrooms should have been fired. The toilets were "toddler toilets." They were very low to the floor and gave no consideration for accomodating seniors or any one with long legs. Everyone in our group complained about them. We were there for a wedding, and had I known this, I would have quickly moved to another hotel. I would never recommend this place.

I know it wasn't the fault of the hotel but Columbus had a Independent's Day celebration with incredible noise late into the night. That plus fire engine sirens all through the night made it a very bad stay.

I was very happy with everything at the hotel for my wedding weekend. All the guests were taken care of, the whole facility was top notch, and our event coordinator Kate Jewell did an excellent job with everything we asked of her and made the whole weekend go smoothly and seamlessly. Thank you!!

Wonderful experience. More extensive bar at pool area would be nice!!

We were celebrating our 40th anniversary. We ate at Mitchel's right across the street - really nice restaurant, and walked to the Ohio Theater where we saw 'Jersey Boys'. Fantastic weekend. The service is impeccable. The only thing I would say is that the room looks bigger in the pictures, but we weren't there except to sleep, so it didn't matter. Also, I'm allergic to feathers and they had feather pillows and a down comforter. It's a good thing we took our own pillows. All in all, a great stay!.

Can't wait for next year to stay aging.

The rooftop pool was a blast... Stayed in a nice room during the Jazz and Ribs Fest and was pleasantly surprised with the food and service.

This hotel was very comfortable. Very impressed with the look of the hotel lobby and room. Beds were very comfortable, great view of the hotel poo,which was on the roof, from our rooml. There was only two things i didn't enjoy about our stay. First was the hot tub was not working on the first day of our stay, butit was fixed by the second day. And second was paying for the valet parking. We stayed two days, and had to pay a lot just to park the car that we never took out. We were in town for a concert at the Lifestyles Pavilion and even though the hotel was a little further away than others, this hotel was worth it and the walk around the city was not bad at all.

Nice location for visiting downtown Columbus. The room was clean and nicely appointed, but a bit small. The large flat screen TV did not make up for the postage stamp size bathroom with its shower only/no tub and nursery school size toilet. And where were the robes that were promised? Add to a steep parking fee and what should have been four stars fades to three for me.

Had a loud party going on at the pool deck, could not hear the tv. The toilet was very close to th floor. The food at the restaurant was a litle over priced. The hot tub should have been for adults only but had tomany children in it. The room was very nice and had plenty of pillows for the bed.

I will never stay at this hotel again the rooms are very small they have no hospitality and just let u. Walk around aimlesly without informing u of what's going on... not kid friendly at all

I took a 2-day "Staycation" here to enjoy a pool during the first weekend of 90-degree weather in Columbus. While there is no pool bar (you have to go downstairs to get a drink), the pool and furniture are very nice, and access to the gym and bathrooms were very convenient. Really loved the view, too. Can't wait to come back.

$14 for internet, valet service only-parking is $23/day, $16 for brunch, ONLY DRINK BEER YOU PURCHASE AT THEIR BAR!?!!!?! Very nice place, just be ready to pay!

I can't say enough great things about this hotel! Awesome, service! Everyone made you feel like you were right at home! Phenomenal room service, when we called for anything, they were there in minute's! Check it out!!! Thank you! keep up the great job! :)

Hotel was really nice...clean rooms, friendly staff, valet parking. I prefer hotels that I don't have to pay to park at though. If you like to waste money, this is a good hotel, but if your more thrifty, there are definitely other hotels in the area that would offer free breakfast and free parking with roughly the same kind of service and cleanliness, although I'm sure a bit less lavish looking.

The rooms are beautiful and the patio area of the hotel bar is awesome! But, the bathrooms in the rooms leave a lot to be desired. The door is weird but that alone wouldn't be a problem. The glass wall in the shower instead of a door means you get wet turning it on and then there is no vent fan so everything steams up and makes it impossible to get ready in the bathroom. And the toilet is super low. Just a really unusual set up for a Marriott. I would go back but I don't know what they were thinking designing the bathrooms.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. Cab service was very accesible. I felt safe.

The room was great. Wish they gave us more than 2 towels though.

This hotel is extremely elegant. It looks and feels like a hotel that should cost twice as much as it does. The employees that we came in contact with were all very pleasant. Valet parking was very quick and convenient. We never had to wait for our car. By the time we got downstairs, it was always there waiting for us. The room itself, was roomy and comfortable. There was a small fridge and a safe. No microwave. There was also a coffee maker, coffee, hot tea and condiments. BEWARE the giant bottles of Evian that are there. In the fine print on the tag it says that you will be charges almost five dollars each for them if you drink them. The shower was strange. It has a glass "wall" instead of a door, and it only goes 3/4 of the way across to the other wall. So, when you are showering, you're not completely enclosed. It is also awkward to turn the water on, because you can't really do it without getting soaked at the same time. My only big complaint about this hotel is their lack of Do Not Distub signs. I don't need housekeeping to come in, and I always put out the sign so they don't have to come in. Not only does this hotel not have a sign, but when housekeeping comes, even if you don't need anything from them, you have to let them in so that they can use the phone in your room. I assume this is to show that they were in the room, but this is seriously annoying, and even though I really liked the hotel, this would be enough to keep me from staying there again.

The room, which had two queen size beds, also had a sitting area. However, the size of this area left the size of bathroom wanting. In fact, you'll find a folding door was required due to the proximity of essential fixtures to the doorway opening. Had issues with room services providing everything that was ordered for breakfast over the two day stay

The price was just right for me, especially during times I'm trying to save. The room was exceptionally clean and the beds were VERY comfortable. The employees always went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and found us great places to visit. I was more than satisfied with my stay and would strongly recommend this hotel to all others!

Hotel was great except for odd collapsing bathroom door. Food from restaurant or room service was phenomenal. But the hotel had to cut off heat/hot water in the evening, expecting it to be back up by 11 pm, but it was still out the next morning. But the hotel was on top of it, either giving us some credits or moving us to another hotel.

My overall experience was satisfactory. I had a problem with check-in as I was given a double room when I reserved a king size bed. Also the outlet in the bathroom did not work so my girlfriend had to blow dry her hair by the TV outlet (room 2005). So I would stay there again but I can't give it a 5 star rating.

Very nice customer service. Excellent room service. Excellent restaurant. Did not receive tour of lobby area as other guests did.

combination business trip and family vacation - hotel had something for everyone. hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient.
