We had to cancel our trip due to illness, but could not cancel the reservation through your site. Just got the run-around going back to the same screen time after time. Very disappointing!

Hotel connessiurs were very kind and helpful. The city-view was gorgeous at night and in the morning. Great restaurants are less than 2 or 3 blocks away, and the harbor nearby is beautiful. The hotel room was lovely and free parking was very convenient.

Great hotel, great suites and friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast is also fabulous! Parking availability could be improved.

We had a harbor view suite in late October. Very nice hotel. Excellent location. Nice view. Close to tourist spots, down town, trails. Took a nice walk around the inner harbor to Westbay, stopped for a very nice cup of soup & cheesy garlic bread at the Princess Mary restaurant and wakled back. Also had close access to bike rentals & trails as well as kayaking. Took in a couple WHL hockey games (15 minute walk from the hotel). Excellent weekend.

I love the fact that this hotel includes parking and wireless internet connections in the price of the room. I have been traveling throughout Japan and China and before that in France and this is the first hotel I have stayed in that doesn't charge extra for these basic services. I'll stay here every time I am in Victoria and recommend it to my friends.

We found this hotel satisfactory, had a good view from our waterfront room looking across the harbour towards the Capital Buildings. It is a bit dated for the price. Complimentary Continental breakfast was good. Close to attractions, very walkable.

This is a perfect place for a family to explore Victoria. We had a blast. The view was great, the room was clean and quite, and the location was conveninet to everything.

Very lovely hotel. Close to attractions, very clean, great personnel, with a good continental breakfast. Waterfront rooms have a terrific view.

The Hotel is in the heart of Victoria's beautiful waterfront district. Within walking distance of all tourist, shopping, and dining venues. Waterfront views are fabulous. Our room faced the Parliment Buildings which are lit up at night. Very ROMANTIC. Staff went the extra mile to assist and even made arrangements for flowers to be delivered to another hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel in a commanding position on the harbour. A great one night stay, should have been more!

This hotel is right on the waterfront. Because fo the very comfortabel outdoor temperature, they do not have air conditioning. The hotel rooms face west, so there is some heat on osme afternoons. Leaving the windows open can do a lot to address the afternoon residual heat. They even have fans in the room. But, the sea birds outside all over the roof the of hotel are pretty loud all night long and into the early morning. You cna turn the fan on, but the fan was as loud as birds. It took some adaptation.

The hotel is extremely clean and classy. The continental breakfast included is outstanding. The only problem is if staying on the city view side, it is noisy at night and fumes can be strong from street level below. Keeping windows closed would help. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel 100%.

Great place, nice room, Only one drawback, gets noisy at night

The room was nice, very clean but a little small. The bathroom, however, was much larger than one would expect in comparison to the size of the room. we likely hit one of the warmest days in Victoria and the air conditioner was a small dehumidifier that eventually did work, but it was very hot the first night and early morning as sun streamed in behind the blackout drapes. We did figure out how to work the dehumidifier and it helped. We are used to central air, and since it was missing, the room should have been priced slightly lower than it was. Separately, the room had no reading chair, which would have been nice. There was a nice deck with access to a street view. Staff was very pleasant, and continental breakfast was good with good coffee and service. Overall, a good hotel to stay at with fabulous view of the harbor in another room that my sister used. I would go back to this hotel. Good value, good location.

Lovely two room suite facing the harbor, great location, good beds. It's definitely on the A list. One bedroom ki8ng room facing the Street, was nice, it was a bit loud facing the Street.

An excellent hotel. Close walking distance to most attractions. Beds are very comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Will definately stay there again.

The Victoria Regent Hotel is a gem on the harbor of Victoria. The rooms are huge, clean and comfortable. The balconies overlooking the harbor were a constant delight. Tiny harbor ferries and float planes were accessible by elevator and a hundred yard walk onto the docks. Right in the middle of all the fun in Victoria!

We loved our stay in the 2BR suite. We used the balcony for happy hour and to watch the sunset and lights across the bay. Great bedding, lots of room, well-stocked kitchen. A nice touch was having continental breakfast delivered, so we ate at our table. It was nice we could all stay together (4 of us). All staff were pleasant and accommodating. I would definately go back. It was a bit pricey, but worth it to us!

Good location great place BUT they DO NOT have Air Conditioning>overall was good , location is perfect . If more than 2 people they have suites request Ocean view is great

1) Updated room, well maintained and very comfortable. Very clean. 2) Top quality bed linens 3) Excellent hotel service with great breakfast overlooking the waterfront. 4)Downtown Victoria in the heart of all that is happening.

Hotel is located in a perfect spot, near to all of Downtone Victoria shopping, dining and entertainment. Room was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed our stay there immensely

The hotel is in a brilliant location and the service was fantastic without being ott. Secure underground garage means car can be left as hotel within walking distance of everywhere. Rooms facing road can be a little noisy but they even provide you with ear plugs, just in case.

We were promised a partial harbour view. We had that and more. We also looked out onto the drawbridge which interfered with our partial harbor view and was ugly in the bargain. The room was very nice but I felt the hotel promised more than it delivered. I would have paid less for no view and had a better view.

The hotel is located in the heart of Victoria. Great access to everything from this location. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was great. Overall a wonderful experience. My only complaint would be that it is a little noisy from the city view room. Fortunately, the city slows down early enough that it is not much of an issue.

This location was perfect! Always something going on in the harbour and very centrally located. Excellent accessibility to downtown and for our elderly mother within the building. Highly recommended!

Really like the hotel, excellent parking facilities and great location for visiting Victoria. The room facilities were exceptional, even included CD player. Good choice of breakfast options and with a view over the bay.

Very convenient location. Potentially very good view if we had booked a room that would actually oversee the waterfront. Most staff were very hospitable, friendly, and helpful except for one - the male receptionist that works the evening shift. Rooms are clean and comfortable. A king bed is actually bigger than a king which was great. Breakfast is light and healthy - continental style but no hot items.

We loved our Victoria Regent Waterfront suite - we had a small child and everything was comfortable and so easy to live in with ample space and great facilities. Parking and breakfast was free, something we found rare on our travels and all staff were very helpful and friendly. The location by the inner harbour was perfect and we wish we could have stayed longer!

Excellent hotel, great location. Within walking distance to all places of interest. The king room was huge with a private balcony, flat screen TV and small frig. Cannot say enough about the comfort of the bed and the teriffic location. Very good continental breakfast included and room service available from restaurant across the street. Great views of the inner harbor. Definitely planning a return visit.

The hotel's location is perfect-- right in the heart of Victoria a few blocks to the Empress. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, continental breakfast is great, and room furnishings were beautiful. We requested an waterview room and for a small fee, were upgraded to an incredible room with a view of the harbour. It was worth every penny. We watched planes land and ships sail out to sea. Perfect hotel-- made our whole trip!

Hotel is on the waterfront and close to everything. It also has a balcony with a table and chairs. Ther breakfast area has great views of the harbor. We were able to walk to all attractions with the exception of Buchart Gardens. We were very satisfied with this hotel and would recommend it highly. Room was spacious and comfortable. It had an indoor a/c unit but it was sufficient due to the mild weather conditions in Victoria.

The location of The Regent Hotel is why we stayed there, just park your car in the secure undergroud parking & go...the only drawback to the location is the noise. Having a room on the 5th floor we thought it wouldn't be too bad, but we were woke up many times during the nights with people walking the streets. If you have an ocean room view instead of street view, most likely this would not be a problem, when asked the price difference to change rooms the price was way too much to bother with!! So would I recomend this hotel? I guess but I will warn people that the street rooms are not recommended for a good nights sleep. I did notice on the last night that the hotel supplies ear plugs in the bathroom drawer...guess they have had a noise complaint once or twice. On the positive the breakfasts were great!!!

Very accomodating staff.Delightful continental breakfast,clean premises.Location exactly where i wanted and loved the balcony.
