The Motel 6 in Augusta, GA is a nice, convenient place to stay if attending the Masters. It is not steeped in luxury but the onsite staff are extremely nice and very accomodating to the needs of their guests.

Nice place, clean, good price, expecially last minute and VERY convenient to Augusta National. Would definately stay there again.

The hotel staff were awesome! Took care of every need immediately. Although the room was costly, as were all rooms for the Masters Week, the Staff, Location, and Excellent condition of the room made this a good value. Would highly recommend!

The hotel was nice in general. It was a little hard to find and the beds were not very comfy. But overall the room was clean and the staff was friendly, I would stay here again.

I felt dirty immediately upon entering the establishment. The floors, walls, and air stunk of tobacco, musk, and just plain body funk. If I had not prepaid with hotel.com, I would have sacrificed and spent more at a different hotel. The building was a smoking one and the stench greeted me like an evil green monster. I reserved 2 rooms one for myself and a second for my daughter and granddaughters. I apologized profusely for exposing them to such a low class facility. I'm sure there were drug and sex parties going on....On a different note, my room looked just like the picture on the internet. Yes, flat screen tv and modern furniture but the bathrooms were not updated and the sheets were dingy. Was told place is undergoing renovations, but I think that is a coverup.

Sheets were stained, the tub and towels were blackened. The floor was also sticky. Don't stay here!

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The customer service was just okay but the hotel itself was horrible.

It was creepy when I was there. Military kids were standing around being loud and obnoxious. They even recorded me as I was leaving the parking lot to get some food. It was just uncomfortable. And the front desk didn't do or say anything. Lame excuse

Dirty rooms, got smoking room when i requested non smoking

i went to the pool there were beer cans around there was a lady drinking vodka at the pool im not complaining about the lady drinking vodka at the pool but this isnt the place for it there was a child there as i drink but not a t a public pool the othere people were not rude and after we were done swimming the people brought a boxer into the pool area a dog should not be allowed there !but then also i had a penskee truck there were some young black guys thinking of seeing what i had because they were walking toward my truck they went around back and seen a pad lock and hollered dang its locked at that point another guy hollered over and said the dude on the balcany in the orange shirt is watching you the ran away hard to belive that a reputalble named motel would allow this type of activity

You pretty much get what you are paying for. A cheap motel with hard beds (I actually liked that) Dirty elevator and the third floor not only held loose tiles and carpeting but it looked like it was never vacuumed either. Housekeeping stole my external harddrive still trying to get a hold of the staff to see what we can do about it. (Really sucks when you don't live there to actively pursue the issue)

i think if I had shut my eyes as I made my way to my room in the Motel 6 it would have been satisfactory. The hallways and stairwells are disgusting. Food, debris, and other trash items were everywhere. The room itself was new and pretty modern, but I didn't even have a bath towel. Overall pretty terrible experience.

The hotel was okay. We stayed on the 2nd floor. It was HOT in the hallway/elevator area and the ice machine was broken. There was NO hairdryer, or microwave/fridge although we requested one, and they only provided complimentary hand soaps. You have to ask for any additional blankets/pillows and ashtrays if you smoke. We got a smoking room, as we do smoke, and it smelled HORRIBLE when we first entered. One reason it smelled so bad is because they do NOT turn on any air in the rooms, even if it's 100+ degrees outside. I understand energy conservation but the rooms smelled disgusting. You naturally expect an odor in a smoking room but this was beyond any I've ever stayed in. There was a pool, however, the water was not fully clear it had a dingy haze to it & was overrun at night by loud & noisy guests which no one tried to quieten nor was the curfew enforced for the pool so the noisy disturbance lasted till the early morning hours.

The room smelled awful. Air condition was loud could not sleep. Rented my room to another customer that walked in as I was getting dress

the rooms are great....new, modern furniture and a platform bed....there was some construction going on next door, but it was not a big deal....the staff in the lobby could have been more pleasant, but overall a great hotel

Has an indoor hallway and fridges in the room. Seems to be a step up from other Motel 6 motels I have stayed at in the past. Free wireless, nice room, nice service, nice location. I will be staying there again and told them so.

Even though our room was renovated the entire entrance leading up to the room itself was under construction and not pleasant odor and decor was not good.

This Motel 6 was recently renovated and the room was one I'd expect to find in a hotel that is much more expensive. My only complaint was that the doors do not seal very tight and you can smell some cigarette smoke from people who are smoking outside.

There was a lot of remodeling at the time of our visit. The rooms were being newly rennovated and had a very nice retro kind of feel. The rooms were very clean upon check-in. We had to request everything we needed such as extra blankets, refrigerator/microwave, room servicing (clean towels etc) and there was no phone directory or area info in the rooms. However, the desk staff was quick to meet all requests and the location was great. It is near all the major interstates and highways in Augusta with nearly every store & restuarant nearby imaginable.

Walked to Augusta National for the Masters. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definetly stay again.

I had to unexpectedly stay out of town, and this hotel was perfect for the job. The only negative was there was no one at the front desk when I checked out...it was very early in the morning though. Overall, a great visit.

They put us in a newly renovated room which was very modern and spacious, had flat screen tv, laminate wood floor, modern sink, etc. Very impressed with the room. Only downside, there were a few kinks they still needed to work out. For example, hot water in the sink did not work (no big deal since it worked fine in shower), and the bathroom door did not lock properly (again no big deal). The room did not have a trash can or alarm clock, and no fridge or microwave. Overall though for the price of the room, I was thrilled with what we got! I did tell the desk clerk at checkout about the small issues with the room and she assured me they would take care of them all. Very polite and helpful staff!

This was the filthiest hotel room in which we have ever stayed. The air conditioner was literally filled with dust which blew all around. The bathroom was dirty and falling apart. I still don't believe the sheets were changed before we arrived. The ice machine barely worked. The shower had good water pressure, though. We will definitely spend a few more dollars and stay elsewhere from now on.

I reserved two rooms for two nights.The first room the ac didn't work. They did move me to anot her room. The phone in neither room worked. They didn't clean the rooms or replenish towels. When we asked for towels they didn't have any available so we had to go buy towels. At @ 9pm we called about towels again and they had some but we had to get them. The stairwell was wet and smelled horrible. And the pictures looked alot better then the real thing.

I booked a King size smoking, even called ahead to confirm. When I arrived, I was told no more King size rooms were available, and I was put in a queen size non- smoking room. The bathroom floor was black from all of the dirt, it was obvious it has not been cleaned! At 8AM in the morning, I I was trying to sleep, I was awakened by hammering and grinding, as the door to the room next to ours was being sanded and refitted with new hardware. A few hours later, I turned the heater on as the room had become quite chilly, and the smoke detector went off. I had to go down to the lobby to have them reset it and they wanted me to go back up to the room and come back downstairs to see if it had been reset. This exhibited laziness on their part, as there was not a phone in the room and they refused to put one in the room.

The room was clean and nice. Hotel was very pet friendly. However, in my room we had to keep looking at the spot where an iron had burn a spot on the carpet, no hair dryer, no shampoo, no breakfast, no coffee in the room (had to go to lobby), same to get a towel to dry hair with since there was no towel in the room. Halls were dark and not especially clean looking. Broken tiles by the elevator door. Please note the hotel is undergoing renovation, maybe better some day, but not now.
