I have stayed here several times and find it convenient to family, friends, highway access, stores, and numerous resturants. Even though it is an older venue I find the rooms large and airy, beds and furniture comfortable and kitchens convenient for simple meals and snacks. The separate bedroom from the living area allows me to bring back family and friends for visits without having them have to sit on a bed to visit me as in most hotels.

Nice spacious accommodations. Great location. There was Internet connection for laptops but Not for my iPad. I had to go to the lobby area To be able to connect to wireless Internet. The mattresses on both beds were hard. Continental breakfast ends at 9 am, which is too Early for me. Rates are good however.

Perfect for a young family like ours. The mini-kitchen let us save a lot of money by cooking in. Disappointed to only have a microwave and rangetop though - no oven. Only negatives: the executive breakfast could use a little sprucing up - more fruit than just oranges, and more bread/pastry besides toast (muffins, bagels, maybe?) Some of the amenities in our room were old - the sofa sleeper had been used so much as a couch that, when unfolded, it sloped at an angle - not very comfortable. Overall, a very good stay. Not too expensive. Would highly recommend and stay again.

It was a very nice big room. Clean, lovely, everything worked. However, I was given the option of choosing a smoking or non-smoking room when booking the reservation and it's a completely non-smoking hotel. So that sucked for me. But I survived it.

This place looks great, probably was great in it's day. Bed was rock hard, very uncomfortable. With my first step into the hallway I was assaulted by the foul aroma of curry. I understand many like that, I'm not one of them. They provide non-smoking areas; perhaps they should consider non-curry areas as well. Breakfast was average to good, but late. I like the spacious room; I like the area, good food close by. But I did not sleep well, which is the main reason to stay in a hotel.

We were on our first road trip with 2 young children, the King suite layout allowed us to put the girls in one room, and us in the other, so bedtimes, etc. were no problem at all. We got a great rate, too, so no complaints here. The bathrooms and main hallways could use some updating, but otherwise a nice little find.

Our family (wife and I, two small kids - 7 and 4) stayed in a King Suite and loved it. Although I had some back discomfort due to a lifelong injury and was unable to relax due to an upcoming job interview, I was still relatively comfortable. The entire staff was pleasant and courteous - especially Teri - and very hospitable. Until we eventually move to the area, this is where I will be staying on my weekly visits.

Located approx 30 mins drive from Hartford. Our room was quiet, overlooking trees and set back away from the busy Route 6. Although we (father and son) rented a 1 bed apartment it would be acceptable for either 3 persons or 2 couples because as well as the bedroom, the sofa in the lounge area converted into a very comfortable double bed. The kitchen included a fridge, microwave and dishwasher. A regular supply of ground coffee satches was provided for a filter coffee machine. The kitchen and the rest of the apartment was serviced daily. On the downside, the kitchen was poorly equipped if you wanted to cook a main meal. The stairway and corrider approach to the apartment was somewhat depressing, but once inside the rooms were large, clean and bright. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay at this Inn despite the poor breakfast taken with the unceasing din from the television. The reception staff couldn't have been more helpful and there is free access to the Internet via the hotel's computer. Good value for money if you want self catering in an attractive part of New England.

This hotel was more than we expected, with kitchen and master bedroom. Would have been nicer if we stayed longer to enjoy the outdoor pool. It was a littles noisy, plumbing and ac. I feel the guests need to be a little quieter. Maybe there isn't a quiet time, guest came in around 1:00 am and were vey loud.

Place seems to be on the older side, all staff needs to be friendlier, tvs old, no wifi, executive breakfast was fully self-serve,

If it is important to you to have a full operating kitchen(including dishwasher), this is the place for you. The staff was not that friendly and the place has an overall feeling of needing an update.
