Embassy Suites Chevy Chase Pavilion - واشنطن

Had a very nice stay in Chevy Chase. Rooms were clean, but seemed a little smaller than other Embassy Suites I've stayed at in the past. Loved the full, hot cooked-to-order breakfast that was included with the room. Makes a huge difference in the food budget with 5 people! Kids had a good time in the pool, and the hot tub was really relaxing after a day of sightseeing! All the hotel staff, from the women at Registration to the cooks at breakfast were very friendly and super helpful! And having the Metro rail stop directly adjacent to the hotel was REALLY convenient, especially when it was raining on the first day of our stay. CONS: 1) Parking fees! Not used to paying to park at a hotel. As a guest of the hotel, you would expect parking to be free or at least discounted. But $25/night parking fees ARE the norm for any of the hotels I looked at in the DC area. 2) Elevators/Escalators - They are a maze at this location. Escalator from the front entrance to the Registration lobby, then an elevator back down to parking. A different elevator from registration to the rooms. And another different elevator from registration down to an escalator over to the Metro entrance. Not bad once you got used to it, but was a little confusing the first day.

Excellent place, except Valet would not call back about serious delays in finding taxis. Expect delays, and zero info.

Nice place- convenient to shopping, dining, movie theaters, subway. The only strange thing is finding the entrance. There are a couple - and the check is on the second floor- and it is tricky to find. I had to ask security. The breakfast buffet was also very good.

Easy access to everything we wanted to see. Also, mattached to a Cheesecake Factory.

Over all the hotel was great but unfortunately was undergoing maintenance during my visit. It got pretty loud pretty early in the morning.

I WILL NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN...FIRST TIME ME AND MY FAMILY GOT 3 SUITES IN LAST SEPTEMBER FOR 1 WEEK AND CONSTRUCTIONS WAS GOING ON EVERYDAY,TOO MUCH NOISE EVERYDAY AND NIGHT AND THE GIRLS AT THE RECEPTION WERE NASTY,SECONDLY ME AND MY FAMILY BOOKED 3 SUITES FOR A WEEK FROM LAST WEEK BUT ENDED UP MOVING TO TO A DIFFERENT HOTEL AFTER 4 DAYS BECAUSE OF BAD SERVICE...STAY AWAY

The train station is in the downstairs of the mall so we didn't have to go outside to catch the metro! There was a great mall attached as well. Great buffet breakfast and the rooms were very nice. Wish every hotel was like this one!

We enjoyed our stay. We had no problems or complaints and the service was very good. They were very polite, friendly and quick to bring extra towels, pillows, etc...We will definitely stay here again. The garage is still bad, but you can't beat the location on the metro. And the buffet breakfast is a HUGE hit with my kids.

My husband and I love this hotel will stay there again.

It was good. But not without it's issues. When we first arrived, the hotel apparently had no idea that five of us were staying there. There were only two towels, not enough pillows , shampoo, sheets or blankets for everyone, etc. But they got that fixed, and everything was nice and smooth after that. And the parking garage was extremely poorly designed. Very tight spaces and not enough room to navigate, and very confusing signage.

We stayed here over the Christmas holiday. The room and service were fine, but the breakfast left something to be desired. A little more cheerful food staff would have been nice. Pillows were lacking in quality. And the parking garage needs more clearly marked signage.

This hotel was our home for 9 days over Christmas. The place was perfect for our family. The daily breakfasts made it an ever better value. Most surprising was the staff. Friendly, helpful, and efficient. Wifi was the only shortcoming. ES should be proud of this place!

Quality of the room was not where it needs to be for a price this high. The happy hour was very very disappointing. All they had for food is chips and dip...weak sauce. Parking is easy but $24 a night which is crazy.Overall it is nice but expensive. There is good shopping and places to eat in walking distance.

outstanding, great property, great location

This Embassy Suites is located next to the Friendship Heights Metro Station (red line) so it's an extremely convenient location to get to from Reagan or downtown. They are still doing renovations in the Chevy Chase Plaza, but most stores & associated amenties are open. The escalators to the Metro have reopened (they were closed for renovation earlier this fall), and some new stores are finishing their renovations for openings. H&M isn't open yet, but it looks like most of the other stores are open. My HQ is next door, so for me this is extremely convenient. The Cheesecake Factory and Mangiioni's are next door, and PF Chang's (among many others) are across the street. Also close to high-end shopping.

My boyfriend and I decided stayed here last minute so we wouldn't have to drive home after my company holiday party. I was most impressed with the cleanliness of the room, specifically the bathroom and bathtub (they have Crabtree and Evelyn products which was nice). I loved that there was a separate tv room and bar area. Our room was located right in front of the elevators, but we weren't bothered a bit by noise because we just shut the interior door and slept perfectly! The location of the hotel is wonderful; it is literally steps to great stores and restaurants! The cocktail hour was very nice (sangria was delicious!) and the free breakfast exceeded expectations. My only complaint is that when we got off the elevator from the parking garage it was hard to figure out which direction we should go to to get to the hotel... maybe we took the wrong elevator because when we left the hotel there was a separate "Parking Garage" elevator right near the hotel lobby. Overall it was a great experience and if all Embassy Suites are like this it will be my top hotel choice in the future.

Very close to METRO, so easy to get around despite being out toward MD. Recently renovated. Excellent value and often special low prices. Great for American University visitors.

My stay was good - the only negative part was the parking! The garage is tight but that wasn't the problem. We were given a "voucher" to have access in and out without charges. the voucher was accepted but when I received my final bill, there was a $24 charge for parking. I have since called your offices and they have assured me of a credit for same. Also, my AAA rate was not put into effect. Help!

The hotel is very conveniently located in Friendship Heights (Chevy Chase), right across from the Metro station. It's part of a small shopping center. Unfortunately, the entire shopping center (which includes the lobby of the hotel) is under MAJOR construction. There is jackhammering from morning until about 8 at night. Other than this, I would rate this very highly.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Nice stay despite Chevy Chase mall being closed for remodeling. Workers were active until late at night, trying to complete noisy & dusty construction for re-opening on Nov. 19th. Breakfast makes up for inconvenience-- always excellent with made to order eggs, pancakes, excellent real oatmeal, excellent assortment of breads & fresh donut treats.

Large, comfortable suite. Very close to Metro (subway). Wonderful breakfast (included). Beautiful building (being renovated). High class shopping. Courteous, helpful staff.

We had a great stay except for the construction noise in the atrium that went 24/7. It was fine if sleeping in the bedroom, but when sleeping with my child in the front room, it was pretty loud all night. Other than that - a great stay. Excellent breakfast, enjoyed the family friendly happy hour with goldfish and board games, and the room was very comfortable.

Nice hotel, convenient to lots of shops and restaurants. Right now they are undergoing renovations, so it is noisy and a bit of a mess getting around; however, everyone was accommodating and helpful. The room was fabulous--spacious suite, very comfortable! Great cheesecake Factory connected to hotel! Parking is expensive.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was. It is right on the Metro which makes it very easy to get around. There's a Whole Foods and shopping center nearby. I was here for work and was very pleased with my room. It was large, had a flat screen TV, nice bathroom and desk to work on. The wifi is expensive (14.95) and there was construction going on, but the included breakfast and service made up for that. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. This is a great value for DC!

We always stay in an embassy suites, however this one was not quite worth the price. After paying a higher noghtly rate than most other embassy suites, we realized we didn't read the details and were charged an large extra fee per night for parking in a huge parking garage which required us to walk a good deal to the elevator to the hotel. The location is good for shopping as it is attached to the Chevy chase shopping pavilion. However, we heard sirens, traffic, and construction all night!

Our was a llitle confusing due to construction

Hotel under construction but under the circumstances it was not bad at at all... Will be nicer when it's finished.

Good Hotel near Metro with good nearby resturants. Only bad thing is the construction going on in the atrium.

We stayed during the construction, and other than seeing the canopy in the center of the hotel, we had no direct affect. It did make parking a little tight, but otherwise it caused no disruption to our stay. We would definitely stay here again, very easy to get on and off the metro and great shopping/dining surrounding the area. Also an easy commute to the hotel off the highway. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel staff was very nice...very friendly and accomodating...the hotel is still being renovated which was a disappointment as your sight indicated it would be completed by the time we arrived for our stay and the staff said it would not be complete until November...I would still recommend this hotel and so would the members of my family that stayed there as well...

We should have been informed there is extensive renovation at the hotel before we checked in.

Very nice, clean. Great neighbourhood. Close to subway station. Very good breakfast with made to order food included. Managers special everyday incl beer and cocktails. Some construction going on but wont notice

There is a big renovation going on the lobby area and at the moment I would not recommend this hotel to any body, it' very noicy. Wait until the job is finish

I stayed at this hotel a few months ago. It was under construction, and the atrium was dusty and noisy. The same applied this time, except that it was dustier and the atrium was overly warm. The service is very nice and the staff knows about this issues: too bad about not getting any warning ahead of time. I thought it would have been done by now!

The hotel atrium was under a major renovation, so was a little disappointed to discover that when we got there. Therefore, during the day it was noisy and you stared at a big white tent where the construction was happening. The only complaint I have about our room was the shower. You were standing in water to your ankles while you showered. Drain needs some work. Other than that, the hotel is in a great location and the manager's reception and free breakfast bar are definite perks to the place!

The hotel was in a great neighborhood with lots of nice restaurants. Metro station is downstairs from the hotel which is on the line with zoo stops.. Hotel lobby and parking garage are under construction but this was not a big deal. Complimentary breakfast was was good but needed variation. Evening happy hour Was nothing to write home about, chips, salsa, goldfish, Chex mix, obviously geared towards the kids. Our kids likes it. Rooms were in good condition and comfortable. Having a fold out sofa for the kids and a refrigerator was handy for the leftovers from Maggianos and The Cheesecake Factory. Potomac Piazza was around the corner and suprisingly good. There is also a CVS downstairs which came in handy. Parking was $24/day. Overall good place to stay and would stay there again.

Hotel was great, even though the renovations continue. NIce surprise was the complimenary happy hr and hot buffet breakfast! Very satisfied and would stay here again.

Rooms were nice, location was perfect, and breakfast was delicious! Drawbacks: parking was Expensive and they were doing construction in the lobby,.which doesn't sound bad but we were on the 6th floor and it was still Loud in our room until 9:00 at night.. Thank goodness we didn't have little kids with us.So,.just make sure they are done with the construction before visiting
