This is a very nice art deco style era hotel that has been well kept and a very friendly hotel staff.. about 8 miles from airport which is about a 20 min cab ride. Great price for the comfort and location. Will stay at again when visiting Bogota.

Arrived late in the evening, obviously they were expecting me and had me checked in and bags delivered in just a couple minutes. Very courteous, bellman made sure everything in room was perfect, nice little kitchen, spacious living room and bedroom. Very clean. Wish I needed to stay longer than 1 night to use room a little more, sit on balcony, etc. Next time I'll stay a little longer. Keep up the good work!

Overall this was a nice hotel located in one of the better lareas in Bogota. The room was nice, big and clean with a kitchenete and large patio. I would recommend the hotel. However, in this same area of Bogota there are other just as nice or even better hotels that range at around the same price levels. In my room the mattress was too hard and the bathroom was a little bit too small. On next trip to Bogota, I will likely stay in another hotel although I would stay in the same area which is the North part/Unicentro area of town,

We spent two nights at the Lancaster House and found it to be very nice. It is an older property, but the suites are very spacious and comfortable. We had a kitchenette and living area in addition to a separate bedroom. We felt the space could have been better utilized by increasing the size of the bathroom and decreasing the living area, but this was not a major problem. Be careful in the shower as the tub is slippery. Also, there are two sets of soap, shampoo, etc., one which is free of charge and the other which costs extra. The free ones were fine and we recommend them. The hotel does not have air conditioning but they provided an evaporative cooler upon request and it worked fairly well. It is generally cool in Bogota, but we did not want to sleep with the windows open and found the room a little warm without the cooler. There were no towels in the room when we arrived, but they were sent up quickly when we notified the desk. The hotel is in the northern section of Bogota in a very safe area but we found little in the way of restaurants in walking distance and ate elsewhere before retiring for the evening. Due to the awful, and I mean truly awful, traffic in Bogota I would not recommend this hotel for those who need to do business in the downtown area. Taxis are cheap but it takes forever to go anywhere, especially during peak periods. However, the hotel served our needs very well and we enjoyed our stay. Others have complained about noise, but our room was quiet, maybe because we kept the windows closed. The staff was very pleasant and seemed to appreciate our business. They let us keep our extra luggage at the hotel at no charge while we took a two-day side trip out of the city and generally did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The staff arranged a cab for a 3:00 am departure for the airport, and it arrived right on time and charged the prearranged price. Because of our schedule we were only able to eat one breakfast at the hotel, but it was

Would be an excellent hotel except for the noise level of the traffic, and even more annoying, the noise generated by the water pipes in the walls. Whenever the guests in the room next door or above, the water flushing down the pipe is very loud to the point where it wakes you up at night.

The best part was the breakfast, awesome. Very typical with many different choices, different tropical fruits and juices. The staff was very accomodating and most important very honest. We left our passports and cash on the desk by mistake and found it exactly how we left it. You don't see this kind of honesty that often anywhere in the world. The hotel doesn't charge for internet nor parking, also not a common perk. Some hotels like marriott and hilton will charge for this. Great value!!

Great hotel, staff is great and will assist you at any time.

Try to get a room facing the back of the hotel. The front rooms face the street and the road noise is horrible all night long.

Good place to stay .room are realy clean . i do like food and every one working here are very friendly .

the staff is marvelous, and it's a beautiful hotel. HOWEVER, Bogota is traffic-choked and the hotel isn't walkable to much, just some basic necessities, and although taxis are cheap and available, the traffic often doesn't allow them to move. so you're kinda isolated. Bogota is not a great tourist city; consider other Colombian cities. But the Lancaster House is close to impeccable.

I've stayed in three different hotels in Bogota, and the only one that has my repeat business is Lancaster House. It has a great location in a good neighborhood and the service is outstanding. The facilities are great and the staff is always extremely helpful and good at their jobs. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and the free breakfast buffet is one of the best I've had. The restaurant and cafe are also excellent. The hotel is within a short taxi ride from most business areas, as well as from many of Bogota's night spots. The surrounding neighborhood also has a number of decent restaurants and is close to some fun bars and lounges. I would recommend Lancaster House to either business travelers, couples, or families...they have something to offer everyone. I will absolutely be staying at Lancaster House again.

A very comfortable and roomy space with great service and great food.

Fantastic hotel. Large relaxing rooms with living, dining, and kitchen. Fantastic service avilable 24/7. The best food; no need to go out since they will make anything you want. Overall great experience.

Este hotel es un lugar muy acogedor, las habitaciones son muy agradables, limpias, espaciosas y muy tranquilas. Está muy bien ubicado por la autopista norte, puede tomar cerca el transmilenio. Las personas que trabajan en el hotel son muy atentas y agradables. El desayuno tipo buffet también es variado y abundante.Es el sitio ideal para alojarse en Bogotá. Se los recomiendo.

Buen hotel. Cómodas habitaciones. Está ubicado sobre la autopista norte. para todo hay que tomar un taxi.

La limpieza de la habitación la realizaban un día si y un dia no, el día que no limpiaban solo arreglaban la cama. La ubicación del hotel no te permite salir a comprar nada porque está en la autopista. Se siente mucho el ruido de los salones que el hotel alquila para eventos: La noche del sábado fue casi imposible dormir y la mañana del domingo hubo un evento con música que tampoco permitió descansar.

Mi estadia fue muy agradable, muy buenas atenciones en el Hotel, un rico desayuno incluido, todo el personal muestra mucha amabilidad, lo visitaria de nuevo si tengo la oportunidad

Quede muy encantado del confort organización , limpieza y servicios de la habitación donde me hospede. No tengo queja alguna.

le rapport qualité prix est convenable surtout par rapport aux prix exhorbitants des hotels à Bogota mais la position en bordure d'autoroute rend l'établissement particulièrement bruyant devant comme à l'arrière et de jour comme de nuit

El comfort y la atención son propios de un hotel de 4 ****,Las habitaciones y las areas comunes son de mucha calides asi como el trato del personal que atiende en las diferentes áreas Lo recomendamos a cualquier persona que desee ir solo o en familia es seguro y esta en buena zona

Cuando llegué no me tenian en su sistema, estuve como 20-25 minutos tratando de hacer el "check in", hasta tuve que entrar a mi computadora a buscar el correo electrónico de hotel.com para imprimírselo, pues ni idea tenían. Y para el "check out" les tomo de 15-20 minutos para salir, demasiado lentos con su sistema de operación. La alfombra de camino a la habitación estaba en muy malas condiciones, sucia, manchada, vieja y barata (como industrial). En la habitación el dormitorio estaba muy bonito. En al sala los muebles eran muy baratos y viejos, lámparas y sin buen estilo, etc. y no hablo de retro ni antigüedades. La cocina muy fea y vacía, mejor dicho horrible. El baño estaba muy bonito, antiguo pero con clase al igual que el área del lavamanos fuera del baño. Pero no siento que vale lo que costó la estadía, especialmente muy caro para los estándares de Colombia.

Me dejo altamente complacido el servicio que recibi y mas que esto la disposicion de las personas que me atendieron. Las suites son mucho mas de lo que uno espera ya que las fotos de la publicidad no muestran de manera objetiva la amplitud y el confort que uno encuentra. De otra parte el sitio en donde se encuentra ubicado el Hotel, permite llegar a cualquier sitio con prontitud aparte de ser una muy buena zona.
