Great time with grandkids. Loved the pool and hot tub. Good location in Bangor , easy to get around to everything we wanted to do. Thank You

The stay was disappointing. The bed and pillows were lumpy. The breakfast food was so-so. The young man on reception when we checked in was very nice. He was very helpful.

Stay was average. Fire Alarm went off in the middle of the night. Think hotel management should of offered some discount towards next stay for major inconvience. Didn't get back to sleep.

Marriott Hotels are our first choice when travelling which is why I would recommend them to friends or family. However, our recent stay in Bangor was disappointing. The desk clerk that was on when I went down at 6:00 AM was unapproachable to the extreme. I was trying to get something to drink but was too early (the time had changed that weekend and I was just too early). I looked at him a few times to try to get assistance but each time I did, he made a point to look away. I was not expecting this from a Marriott Hotel. My other disappointment was when I got out of the shower and found I had to use the same bath towel as my husband as they only provided one to the room. Again, very surprised that this was the case at a Marriott Hotel. I am generally pleased with their hotels but do not plan to use this one again. I did complain on the comment card in the room but received no response.

Wasn't too thrilled about the housekeeping skills...hoping it was just a "fluke". But overall, the room, service and location were great.

Good place to stay with a family. Excellent complimentary breakfast.

The hotel itself was fine, however it is undergoing construction and at 8:30 AM on Sunday morning, a big ladder appeared in front of our window along with a work crew and their gigantic boombox. The sound of construction and club music was the last thing that we wanted to hear at that hour. The hotel management should have been more sensitive to it's guest and started construction after 11AM. Additionally, the workers should not have been allowed to blare their stereo, regardless of the time of day. I'm sure once the rennovation is done, this won't be a problem, but I am disappointed that the management team allowed this to happen.

The rooms were comfy and clean and the pool was nice too. Overall, a good place to stay.

Nive hotel but the complimentary breakfast was terrible. We arrived for breakfast at 830am and there was nothing left and there were only a few tables to accomodate too many people. We had to go back to our room to eat our yougurt because there was nowhere to sit. They advertise cribs available which is actually a pack and play and we got the last one in the hotel.

was easy to book on line. When we arrived the room was not ready, it was after 3pm. We had a concert to attend and needed to prep, frustrating to wait. Had booked for four people, room was only stocked for two, ughhh! with many more hotels in the area, will choose another hotel next time.

The motel was nice, but not really worth the price we paid. You could tell there used to be a small refrigerator in the room and it had been removed. (Would have been nice to have). There was no phone book to look up addresses to restaurants and stores etc. We asked why and we were told it was because they got stolen too often. Who in the world steals a phone book? Everyone gets them free anyway. I just thought it was inconvenient. The room itself was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. The tub was small and old which was unusual for the other part of the bathroom which was so nicely made over. It was quiet except for renos in the morning. I also think the breakfast should have been offered till 10:00 am, instead of 9:00 am. We were on vacation and couldn't get there by 9. And we obviously paid for it in the price of the room. So I guess we thought the room was nice overall -- just not worth the price we paid considering th above concerns. Thanks!

Did miss the hard boiled eggs at the breakfast thou...but very happy with the stay.

After paying top dollar for a room for 2 nights, we were very disappointed to find the pillow cases were dirty. The shower curtain was not clean either. Then, during the entire night, the heat kept kicking on and off (loud enough to wake us up). In the morning, there was so much condensation on the window that it had dripped all over our things. In the center of the ceiling (over the beds) was a patch job that was not too well done. The people at the desk were extremely fiendly though. I would not stay there for that kind of money again.

I understand this is a Fairfield BY Marriott but the name Marriott goes a long way with me. This hotel was less than average. The room smelled damp and wet and mildewy, the brackets for the shower were cracked and broken, the handle on the dresser was missing, and the sheets and bedding were ragged looking. It WAS very clean though but breakfast was another mess. 150 people trying to get breakfast and eat in a small room with just five tables. Lines for toast...it was just chaotic. I would not stay here again.

I am not happy about tyhe apearence and cleanliness of this hotel and the room. The rooms need improvement, The room smells. but the staff were great and the breakfast was incredible. I like the hotel because of that.

We've stayed in Bangor several times on our way home from trips to Nova Scotia. I still haven't found a hotel I would stay at a second time. I expected the rooms to be more up to date. The worst thing was the air conditioning unit that took up as much space as the desk. It was filthy. Gave me an uneasy feeling about the rest of the room's cleanliness.

My problems with this hotel are minimal. The beds were too soft for me, but that might be a plus in someone else's opinion. The person who was supplying the food for the complimentary breakfast was not able to keep up with the Saturday morning demand although she was trying very hard.
