Everything was as expected except for one day my bed was not made instead a note was left saying they didn't want to touch my CPAP mask, so they didn't change the sheets or make the bed.

This property is the best one for staying on the beach near St. Augustine. The staff are so warm and friendly and there to help in any way needed. The property is very well kept. They pride themselves on cleanliness and it was indeed very clean. The bed I slept in leaned a little to the side, but was overall comfortable. The balconies are spacious and very private, a delight to sit on and watch the sunrise.

On Friday 5/3 the water/sewer system failed and the hotel failed to inform guest in timely mannner ..I had extended my stay due to the weather and business conference. The hotel did not offer any guest incentives.

It was very nice and clean the only was the TV remote did not work and some amenities we had to ask for. The breakfast was okay. They had egg bagel sandwich instead of scramble eggs and bacon.

Hotel was totally booked. Not good value for money but it is difficult to get a room in season. Beach was great.

Hotel was clean and effiecient and beds comfortable!! Located perfect spot for beach, St. Augustine, Amphiteathre, Zip lines at zoo ... great location!

We had a great time! The staff was awesome, friendly, helpful. The breakfast was more than we expected and was different everyday... The location was also great, just close enough to the attractions, but fair enough away to be quiet... finally, the beach was outstanding!!! We had the entire thing to ourselves, except for a few seagulls. We will definitely be staying here again!!!!

Hotel staff was extremely friendly and likable bunch. First time in florida for us..we had 4 rooms each one was very nice beds were comfy..it is an older hotel i think but maintained well..very close to the beach and st johns county pier is just a short walk..many restaurants close by we enjoyed sunset grille right across the street. My one complaint was breakfast..it was mostly terrible but its in a hotel so i don't expect much

We stay here everytime we go to St. Augustine and its always a great place to stay. Great access to the beach and not far from town!

Average hotel at best. We had a beachside view, which was nice; however, one bed's mattress was wornout (we kept sliding to the middle), refrigerator was very loud (unplugged it at night) and breakfast was just ok. We were on 3rd floor and pipes made loud dripping sound whenever room about us ran water. IMO, rooms are overpriced (especially this time of year) for what hotel has to offer. I will get a 3 night condo next visit to St. Augustine instead of a two day stay at this Hampton Inn.

Paid a lot for ocean front and got a bush with no ocean in site. Very disappointed. They were totally booked and couldn't move us. It was disappointing.

Great staff who knows the area. Friendly and filled every request FAST. Great coffee 24/7 is a plus. Ocean view was awesome. Breakfast was what you expect at a hotel but there are amazing restaurants with unique breakfast menus within walking distance Pool area and other common areas were spotless. Didn't care for the beds but that's just me. Can't wait to return and stay here again.....

dirty hotel, things falling apart, paid for oceanfront view to get a parking lot view.

hotel was picture perfect except for one thing, our room was right next to the elevators and the maid service area which is tile floors(heard carts rolling around at 8AM). Wouldn't be a problem if they would start cleaning bout 10 am but i know that's not possible. Next time we will be getting a room that's not 5 steps from the elevator. Great restaurant directly across the street. Clean/nice/polite staff always had coffee/tea available and cookies at night. Breakfast was also above most standards.

I was very pleased with the overall service of this hotel. Our room had the ocean view & it was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel.

Very please would go back and the staff was very helpfull

Manager and all personnell went above and beyond to service any needs. They made sure our stay was excellent.

We were a little surprised at the condition of the property. We fought to get the door open as it scraped on the floor so bad you had to put a shoulder to it. The shower head was broken and the sofa bed was so worn that you could not sit on it.

I would rate it straight 5's except for the noise generated by neighboring rooms with jacuzzi tubs. Pretty noisy! However, the tub itself is great, as was the ocean view, the room, the desk, etc. GREAT location.

Right on the beach. They also have a kids playground. Close restaurants and the breakfast was nice.

My husband stayed in this hotel and took a street side room since it was jsut an overnight stay. When we looked at the ocean side rooms we realized that's what we would be booking next time. We havejust booked the oceanside King suite for 2 nights and can't wait. Hope weather is sunny....,

Great to have fresh coffee all day and cookies every night! Jacuzzi was great at night. Great beach location. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We very much appreciate Hampton Inn's amenities -- free WiFi, free breakfast, the assurance of clean duvet covers and sheets, etc. -- all at a reasonable price point. This particular hotel is right on the ocean front. We had a good stay.

Great hotel front staff was really nice. We asked for a late check out and they actually gave us till 1 and we actually left before 11 cause my husband had to go to work. Breakfast was good. Very nice place and definitely would stay again and would like to stay longer. Would be great for a romantic getaway!

Arrived at 4:15, several people waiting to get checked into rooms, as rooms were not ready yet. When we did finally get to our room, first thing we noted was cleaning items left in the bathroom. Additionally, cigarette butts on our ocean view balcony. Finally, when we sat on the bed we noticed it seemed very crooked. We contacted the front desk and they immediately came to fix the bed. However, it to just shy of an hour to fix as they had to completely disassemble the bed and fix it. This made us pressed for time for our dinner reservations.

Hotel was nice, clean & great location right on the beach, Breakfast was good but a larger dinning area would be needed we had to stand 15mins to wait for an available table

We loved staying at the Hampton Inn @ St. Augustine Beach, Fl. Nicole at the front desk was very friendly and we were given a lovely room with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Unfortunately, because of recent beach renovations, you couldn't walk to the water; there was a 6 foot drop off. Having stayed here before, I was really shocked. However, someone had created a sand slide to get down and we used that and then walked down the beach to get back up to street level. This is one of the most beautiful beaches around. The local restaurants are delicious and priced well and this hotel is a short drive to the Historic District, the Bridge of Lions and several other tourist attractions. And the best part, the sunrises are spectacular.

beach location is great. I was amazed at the development that has occurred since my last stay at the hotel.

The WI-FI signal in the room was extremely weak. Was pleasantly surprised with the spaciousness of the room and a large dorm fridge included. Hotel rooms still felt a little "old" although they had put some effort into freshening them up.

Omelette never appeared and bagel toppers were all we had both days in the way of hearty food. No sausage & gravy . In addition, check in time at 4:00 is rather inconvenient - especially when it turns into 5:00, and even then you have to apply pressure to be in your room by 5:00 with the manager. Wifi was hit or miss. On the ip side, the room itself was very nice - beach too ( although chairs would have been nice at the price we paid).

A extended weekend away with my wife. This was the updated room with ocean view and in room Jacuzzi. Very comfy bed, very nice view of the beach, very convenient to a great restaurant across the street. Only negative is that the place is a bit noisy with lots of hallway chatting and slamming doors. Housekeeping came by twice dispite the do not distrub sign on door. I would have never thought a Hampton's would be so nice! Would go back again but sure wish housekeeping would learn to read the do not disturb sign. Highly recommended for a time away from it all for a couple, and even a "low budget" honeymoon stay as well.

Great location, Frienedly Staff, Breakfast was okay but bland. Machine generated noise out by pool was very loud. Hotel door seems to cause lots of guests usability issues - (even while we were standing there). Manager could fix the couple of issues within a couple of days if he/she set their minds to do so. Overall good budget hotel. Would recommend.

Unfortunately late arrival turned out to be a bottom level room with No view. The room was originally chosen for its view of the ocean. Spoke with front desk 2days ahead and requested one of the top two levels. Information was never notated. Results were less than desireable.
