The Lucerne Hotel - نيويورك

لقد كانت المرة الأولى التي نقيم فيها في الجانب الشرقي العلوي من مدينة نيويورك - موقع جيد وفندق لطيف بالنسبة للسعر. مسافة سير سهلة حتي حديقة "سنترال بارك". ركوبه سريعة حتي الجانب الشرقي والمتاحف ومناطق التسوق.

فندق "ذا لوسيرن" كان مثالياً - الغرفة كانت متسعة وديكوراتها جميلة. طاقم العمل مهذباً جداً وصالة الرياضة كانت مجهزة جيداً جداً.

الفندق كان تماماً كما هو معروض على الموقع الإليكتروني. شعرت بالأمان الشديد في الفندق والحي. العاملون بمكتب الإستقبال ومساعدي النزلاء كانوا مهذبين ومتعاونين. تناولنا الطعام في مطعم مجاور وكنا مسرورين للغاية. لقد شعرنا (كنا سيدتين) بالراحة بالسير في الحديقة وحتي "كولومبوس سيركول" وعدنا سيراً (بعد الغروب) في "برودواي". أنصح بهذا الفندق بشدة للأصدقاء والعائلة.

هذه هي المرة الثانية التي نقيم فيها في فندق "لوسيرن", وقد كنا سعداء جداً بإقامتنا. الفندق نظيف للغاية وكان هادئاً رغم وجود أعداد كبيرة من النزلاء. مطعم الفندق "نايس ماتين" لديه قائمة إفطار روعة. سنقيم هنا مجدداً عندما نعود لمدينة نيويورك.

لقد أقمت لـ4 ليالي ولم أنبهر بالغرفة. السرير لم يكن نظيفاً, كان هناك شعر علي الملاءات. أشك أن الملاءات لم يتم تغييرها قبل وصولنا. أتينا من أستراليا وإحتجنا لإستعارة أو شراء محول للقابس. طاقم العمل بمكتب الإستقبال لم يكن ليساعدنا بإعطاءنا محول وحتى لم يعرضوا علينا أي نصيحة عن مكان شراء واحد! إشترينا تذكرتين لأحد عروض "برودواي" وهو "ويكيد", أماكن جلوس ثمنها 60 دولار إنتهى بها الأمر بأن كلفتنا 180 دولار للفرد بالإضافة إلى 60 دولار أجر الحجز. كان يجب إستلام التذكرتين من فندق "شيراتون"! شعرنا أن الخدمة سيئة جداً.

Very clean and comfortable hotel, with a wide array of restaurant choices nearby. Museum of Natural History is a 5 minute walk away, which also means 5 minutes from Central Park.

Staff very friendly, hotel clean, room is small and could use two soap bars not just one in room.

we had a room with 2 double beds. I could see a room with one bed is would be really too small. The beds were very comfy, the room was quiet but we were on the 10th floor. Lower rooms on the street probably wouldn't be. The decor was a bit gloomy, brown and gold. Very good overall.

The hotel is very well located for the meetings I attend. It is in a neighborhood setting which is very nice and very different from a midtown hotel.

Overall we thought the hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and the neighborhood was perfect. However, the reason we are rating this hotel a 3 instead of a 4 is because the room was really tiny for a family of 4 and the air conditioning unit was terribly loud which made it difficult to sleep. I don't think the room could really accommodate two double beds...there should have just been one queen. If they could fix this and also fix the air conditioning unit then we would rate it a 4.

Nice, clean hotel; however, the bellmen/doormen not so good. It was pouring rain and several people needed a cab. One doorman simply said that it was very difficult to get a cab from there. Basically told me I was on my own. Fortunately one of the doormen actually did something about it. It took 15 minutes to get a cab/car!

The Lucerne is very well-located, one short block to the subway, and is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and very responsive (we asked for extra towels following a late-evening arrival, and they sent up more than we asked for right away). While the bathroom was updated and very clean, the room furnishings are a bit fusty -- heavy window treatments and the like -- and could use updating. Also, I prefer that the bedding be all changeable, without exposed blankets.

Loved the Lucerne, it was in a great location, close to the subway and close to plenty of places for eating. The room wasn't huge but elegantly furnished and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again. We loved the restaurant Coppolas, across the road - we ate there once and had take away twice. Great food, huge portions!

My mother and I took a girls trip to New York and really enjoyed our stay at the Lucerne. The location is fantastic, close to Central Park. The subway stop is a block away and gives easy access to Times Square area. The hotel was clean and service was good. One day our room was cleaned very late, but other than that we had no complaints. We had a suite with two queen beds, and it was spacious for New York. Good restaurants in the area.

Stayed only one night, but would stay here again. Convenient location. Nice hotel staff with attentive service.

The Lucerne is perfectly located for pedestrian access to Central Park, the American Museum of Natural History, the Hadley Planetarium, and the red and blue lines of the subway. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and the restaurant is first rate. There are many other excellent restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. This is not a budget hotel, but it offers great value. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful visit at the Lucerne! The staff was lovely and very accommodating. The location is terrific for seeing the city. It's far enough from the crowds but close enough to walk or hop in a cab to broadway and museums.

It was a great neighborhood with easy access to the subway. Plus it was one of the few hotels that had rooms with 2 double beds.

When we arrived to our room, the room was not made. The linens were folded on top of the unmade bed and the shower had no curtain so we called the reception and they moved us to another room. Overall the size of the rooms is very small but the rooms are clean, well kept and comfortable.This is a good hotel if you need to stay in the upper west side of Manhattan. Overall, my wife and I agreed we would use it again if nbecessary.

Hotel was extremely inviting--Lobby was lovely, Rooms nicely decorated and comfortable. Would recommend it to everyone--service couldn't have been any better. Restaurant adjacent to Hotel--so convenient!!!!!

Very good service, subway close by to visit Columbia!

Found the Lucerne online. Wonderful experience staying there. Room was clean and modern. Would stay again. Only had one issue, the door lock did not work when we arrived but the maintenance guy had it fixed in short order which was a nice surprise. Over all vary nice for the cost.

We were visiting NY from Rhode Island to hear a Philharmonic concert. The hotel is so convenient to Lincoln Center, the best stay we have had for this purpose by far. Two subway stops and you are there. We only wish that the hotel bar was opened later at night for after concert drinks with friends, but this of course is NY and we were able to find suitable places for this elsewhere.

Location was great and the hotel/staff were well worth the price.

We have stayed at the Lucerne every year since 2003 and it has consistently been clean and the staff always has a warm welcome. It's just two blocks away from the Hayden Planetarium and the Natural History Museum. Nice Matin restaurant is adjacent to the hotel and there are numerous other restaurants within a ten minute or less walk from the hotel. Additionally, there is a a CVS pharmacy across the street and just five minutes away is Zabars market on Broadway. The subway entrance is located a three minute walk away on Broadway and 79th. street with trains both north bound and south to Times Square and beyond. We highly recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely time; the hotel is very service oriented which I love. The room was clean and spacious. Only one little glitch was the shower. The water was either very hot or very cold and quite difficult to get to a middle ground.

We had some trouble with our hot water for 2 days. We had to wait for them to fix it both times, but people were nice and everything else was fantastic! Beds were very comfortable.

We stayed in The Lucerne for one night after an opera visit. The service was very good and the room clean and comfortable. For those with little experience in NYC, we booked a superior room. I haven't seen the regular room in this hotel, but I know the shoeboxes in other hotels. So, this category was definetly worthwhile the higher costs. The only (minor) complaint was that the top sheets came late (but they came and were still warm from the dryer). The hotel is conveniently located close to good restaurants and not far away from the Lincoln center, our main destination. We will come back for sure.

this was my second visit to this hotel, and I highly recommend it. The only criticism I have is that there is no mini bar and no room service. there are stores in close proximinty, but it would be nice to get a complimentary bottle of water and have a bottle of wine and snacks for purchase in the room. The staff is very attentive!

Forgot to put fresh towels in the room, but came up to replace them very quickly. Not able to check into room till 4pm. Rooms comfortable, shower great pressure.Take ear plugs, doors thin.

Hotel was very quiet, very nice rooms, staff was extremely nice - we felt very pampered. rooms were very clean. great location for what we needed. right near the subwa. We would definitely stay there again. Niceest hotel we have stayed at in the area.
