Holiday Inn Tijuana Zona Rio - تيخوانا

We arrived in town prmarily for business at the US consulate but with time for some side trips. This hotel was identified on some websites as a Fiesta Inn and some as Vita Spa and we arrived during the rushed and final preparations to unveil its new ownership under the Holiday Inn flag. We mistakenly booked at this Hotel thinking it was the Fiesta Inn near the consulate but were very satisfied with all aspects of the hotel including the location. It is located on the Paseo de los Heroes in the Rio Zone - you are within long walking distance of fine shopping, the cultural center and some excellent restaurantes and a statue commemorating Abraham Lincoln. Will recommend this hotel to others and will return if in TJ again.

I would like to stay here when remodeling is finished and converted t the Holiday chain. They absolutely should close the hotel until remodeling is completed. The "restaurant" in a sterile conference room is not acceptable. The check-in table and computer is ridiculous. Also, the fumes from the remodeling bothers some people. The outside is beautiful and will be spectacular. Don't try to stay open now. Just finish remodeling. Let me know when it's done. The massage I had was totally neutralized by the cold room. Body work was good; but the cold room negates the body work. A good masseur ALWAYS keeps the client WARM.

No buttler service. No control remote for tv...hotel was to boring....for old people....

I felt safe there but the comfort issue is a problem if you like a normal mattress to sleep on. The bed is rock hard. Bring your own pillows, this helps!

The service it was ok the calls to us are so expensive $14.00 the toilet it was not clean

Nice hotel but thin walls

Great location, Staff was very fast and helpful. We skipped the breakfast after they told us that the price was 170 pesos or about 16 dollars, that is probably ok for most but a little steep for us. Overall you cant beat this deal in Tijuana. Great hotel for the price! Will be staying there every time, Unless Holiday Inn who is buying the place jacks up the price. Hopefully not!

My wife and I stayed here in May 2011. Bar none, this hotel probably has the friendliest and most helpful staff of any hotel in North America. The staff bent over backwards to help us out with issues (non-hotel related) that came up during our stay. They also did everything possible to make us feel at home. They even moved a table from the dining room to the pool area so that my wife and I could eat outside. The highlight of the brunch buffet are the local dishes which are outstanding. Try the chicken mole. The only downside is that the top floor of the hotel is currently under renovation but the distraction was minimal. I'm looking forward to seeing the renovated rooms. I can't wait to stay here again soon.

my stay was made wonderful at vita spa the room was spacious and very clean the only thing the location a little confusing in my opinion i would give them a 4.5

We rented this room and wasn't sure what to expect. I am very sensitive to certain scents or smells but hotel was perfect and this place did not have a single smell. The rooms weren't very big but they were very clean and very comfortable.The hotel was right in the middle of everything and still far enough from the party scene which was great for us and the people there at the hotel were very friendly and made us welcome they received us like if we were old friends. They have this spa that has a natural springs very theraputic, it was great and if I come back here I would stay here again and recomend it to everyone I know.

me and my wife stayed there for 3 days and everything was great. the service was great and the hotel was over all great. i loved the fact that they had security tower outside the parking lot, i had no problem leaving my car parked there.

Stayed for 2 nights Apr 2011, service was excellent the breakfast buffet was fine....but the room service food....not so good. The green peppers in the fettuccine Alfredo were off...too acidic I know...green peppers in the sauce...I am a Chef student so I have an open mind....decided to play it safe with the next meal :) cheese burger and fries, tasty except for the toothpick hidden flat between lettuce and cheese..bit into it...yeah..next dinner meal was very safe :) deli meat platter and nachos from bar menu. Hotel not so close to the border to have cell phone work....Pueblo Amigo is....I like the room service and restaurant at Pueblo Amigo too...This Hotel will soon be a Holiday Inn....hope they get a new Food and Beverage Manager.. HIRE ME :)

Their staff really go out of their way to pleased you and make you feel comfortable. Reasonable and helpful. Cozy and relaxing place to stay.

Good Hotel..Good Location... Great Customer Service... Would have liked a bigger Pool.

Great quality service. There is a main artery next to the Hotel and some times traffic was heavy at night, making the room noisy. Also there is a railroad track close to the hotel. The train made some noise at night.

El taxista no sabía que el hotel había cambiado de nombre y preguntamos a muchas personas y no conocían el hotel Vita Spa...una hora más tarde y econtramos el lugar (que antes era el Fiesta Inn). Al principio me dieron una habitación que olía de humo pero me cambiaron a uno de las nuevas habitaciones (remodelada) que fue muy muy cómoda. Me gustó mucho y estaba muyy a gusto. Está situada en un lugar tranquilita y lo recomendaría este hotel a mis parientes y amigos. Está muy bien para el precio!
