My friend and I had the best time at this hotel. The service was quick and very friendly. I loved the girls who work in the Restaurant! So friendly and accommodating. The chef even came to our table after our meal to see how everything was! Our bed was so comfy.. I loved the duvet!! And the pillows...Oh the pillows!! Will come back for sure.!

The location was great. Booking was easy. We checked in late, otherwise, would have phoned to complain. The glass were dirty, i.e, toothpaste on the bottom of the glass, only one coffee cup. Small things, yes, but cleanliness is important.

the staff are polite.hotel has pool, hot tub and gym which is what i wanted.hotel needs updating.bathroom very old and needs work. first flush of toilet-overflow, so maintenance was called in, he made a mess, so housekeeping was called in. we were at WEM within 20 mins for a fun time

A must if you're in Edmonton for oilfield business. Close to Nisku and Edmonton's major oilfield manufacturing. Right on the corner of Gateway and Whitemud means you're at the hub of manufacturing. Great staff and service. Heated u/ground garage means you don't need to plug in during cold months or worry about vandalism. I stay here every time I'm in Edmonton for oilfield business.

The vale is good for the deals but not for the regular price. The room is noisy because it is located next to major free ways and railway. The ramp used for the luggage carts are too steep and narrow.

We do have a train fairly close to the hotel however it is not often heard by our guests as it is far enough away that the sound doesn't usually carry. I would suggest booking a room facing the North side in the future as you should not hear anything from this side. We are looking into redesigning the ramp to the front doors in the near future as we renovate the parking lot and make our whole arrival area more welcoming. We do have bellman at the hotel that would love to assist with the luggage up the ramp in the meantime. Thank you again for your feedback.

I like Delta hotel, and usually I don't get disapointed, again this time around, we got our money's worth. Upon check in they gave us a free appetizer which was nice since we had been on the road for 14 hours. in the lounge the service was impecable, what more is there to say other than, overall, this hotel was well above my expcetation. will stay here again if I come back this way.

Stayed here for 6 days during a business trip. Comfortable hotel, good location for the southern part of Edmonton. Surrounded by good dining, etc. The hotel itself has a great restaurant, try their Canadian / Alberta beef. The breakfast buffet was somewhat disappointing. The rooms also need some upgrade, as the carpets are a bit dated and old. Otherwise, highly recommended.

I was amazed by a wonderful, modern lobby and lounge area with friendly staff. The second impression though was very different. Getting to the room the hallways are very dated and have a weird smell to them. The 'premier' room was dated as well. A mini bar that was advertised on the hotel site was not existent. Prints on the headboard of the king bed from previous guests were visible. The climate control unit kept blowing a steady stream of air into the room, the vent was not adjustable. Temperature control was not sufficient which resulted in a bad sleep quality. The toilet flush tank did not refill itself. A voucher for up to 25% savings on a future stay will not convince me to give this location a second chance.

The bed was so comfortable, the room was clean and spacious. The tub could use a little upgrading to a soaker type tho. The pool and hot tub was clean and warm and soooo relaxing! I called for a massage but never got a return call but it was a holiday friday so perhaps they were closed. I would definitely stay here again!

The room continued to be very cold even after complaining and maintenance saying they made an adjustment. This made for uncomfortable down tme in the room.

In-room dining and restaurant had absolutely delicious food and great service!! The hotel also offers great services but is showing some wear (holes in our sheets, curtains needing repairs, fussy shower head). We had a great stay and we would book there again.

Noise from adjoining rooms was bothersome. Just normal talking was quite clear from adjoining rooms and made getting to sleep difficult.

Service was great. Property seemed to be in the first stages of renovations, but the staff was very attentive and all ammenities were functional and in good repair. Housekeeping was average, the room was comfortable. Nice little excercise room... A great place to stay if your activities in Edmonton are focused in the South End.

since moving to cold lake alberta 3 years ago we have stayed at several edmonton hotels due to edmonton pediatrician visits for our youngest child.since our 1st visit to the delta edmonton south we never stayed anywhere else.the staff are always friendly and helpful which is hard to find in edmonton and the rooms are always clean fresh and updated.that is until our last visit.the shower had soap scum around the soap holder and the bathroom light switch was hanging partially out of the wall.this hotel is a little pricey compared to the super 8 s but weve never minded the extra money due to the quality we received and became accustomed to there.i think well unfortunitly have to try another hotel next time.which is unfortunate since we love the location to everything we do when in edmonton,this was not meant to be a dis for your hotel just a heads up.sincerely yours alisha and jamie bramwell.

I always look for cleanliness and hope for a comfortable bed, we got both. The only thing we had issue with was our last night there were two weddings and a lot of booming music coming from downstairs and loud voises from people in a room near by, this meant not much sleep saturday night. The breakfasts were terrific and waitresses excellent, we had our two Granddaughters with us and they were treated very well.

The guest rooms are long overdue for a makeover. The lobby appears to have been updated, but the exterior of the hotel and guest rooms really let down the Delta's reputation. Booked a 'premier' double queen room hoping for a nicer room. Not. Small, worn looking and way too hot (better air conditioning needed in July!). Turned the thermostat all the way down and still had to sleep without covers. On the upside, lots of convenient parking, but maybe that's because the hotel has plenty of vacancies. Delta needs to overhaul this hotel or unload it!

I've stayed at the Delta South with my family a number of years ago and that's what brought me back to the hotel for my recent stay. But the hotel will need some updating and maintenance. The hot water for the shower wasn't very good, took a while to get hot and it's not very stable. They should clean out some of the pipings as the water was draining slower in the shower, had quite a pool of water collected after a shower. Some updating to the whole room would be nice since it is a Delta Hotel in order to upkeep with their name. If they are willing to update the whole hotel, I would consider staying there again for my next visit.

Our water temperature is normally very consistent however we did experience an issue with the boiler recently that caused the inconsistencies that you speak of. It is part of the housekeeping standards that slow draining tubs and sinks be immediately reported to maintenance and we clearly overlooked this standard in your room and I do apologize. I would like you to know that we are expecting a complete renovation of all rooms starting early next year as Delta is very committed to putting forward a product that we can be proud of and is of the same high standard as our service. We do understand that the basic requirement of a positive hotel stay is to receive a clean, comfortable and modern room and we are committed to provided exactly that. I hope that you will give us another chance in the future as I know we currently have a better product available and it is only going to be getting better in the future. I completely enjoyed my stay at the Delta South. The service was impecable, the food delicious, the fitness room was well-equipped and they even thought to provide bottled water and towels to refresh oneself. The entire experience was flawless and I would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary. They brought complementary wine and a cheese and fruit platter to our room to help us celebrate. They even had an anniversary card signed by the staff. Very friendly staff and very nice pool and hot tub area.

They try. After the fire some parts were rebuilt and and very nice. Restaurant is great with a great evening menu and buffet breakfast. however rooms not so great. My toilet didn't flush. Curtains didn't close properly and were too short.

We do have guestroom renovations scheduled for the beginning of next year that will put our guestrooms in line with the renovations that have already been done to our lobby and restaurant. Our rooms are dated and in need of a renovation however that should not be an excuse for existing products in the room not functioning. We have processes in place to ensure that all aspects of a guestroom are clean, comfortable and in good working order and these processes were clearly overlooked. Hotel Staff is Wonderful, Very Accommodating. Food is very good. My room was comfy clean and even though it faced a main roadway, amazingly quiet. Would highly recommend this hotel.

You can't come to this hotel expecting a 5 star hotel. However, with the renovations complete, the main floor boasts of modern architecture...though their floor plan is a bit odd. The room was nothing to right home about, but worth what you pay for (3 start hotel). I didn't eat there so I can't comment on that. What I truly enjoy about this hotel is it's location. Close to all types of eating, shopping, and not that far from downtown, entertainment, and right on major roads.

Over all we had a pleasant stay. However, we did not appreicate having screaming children in the pool and hot tub area at 10:00pm at night. I think there should be a time limit for children being up that late. Sometimes you just want to go to the hot tub to relax and have some peace. But when there are 15 children screaming and playing in the water that late it is not relaxing at all. My suggestion would be to have a time limit for children.
