Very OVERRATED! Carpet filthy, vent covers clogged with dust and grime. Valet left my car unlocked so anyone could have reached in and grabbed the GPS.We were not allowed to have a luggage cart if we were not going to use the bell hop. Seriously? Signage not clear. Check-in attendants at the counter rushed through everything as tho' you understood all the facts they were relating in 30 seconds! Not personal or caring in the least! I will never stay there again. BTW, the plants, running brook and flowers are gorgeous. Advertised park. fee as $25, charged $26 and a TAX ON THE VALET PARKING????? Seriously? A tax on valet parking - unbelievable!!!!!

Beautiful property. Very clean and quiet. Their are choices of food but, they close at weird times and a little expensive. It is better to eat off site.

Just wish access to coffee in the hotel was easier in the mornings! Beautiful hotel - the best of all the Gaylord choices!!

Would Not recommend this hotel. It is supposed to be a resort but most of the restaurants were closed. Expensive ones open. Food at the Irish pub bistro very poor. Parking is an extra charge, beware. gardens are lovely though.

The room was nice enough however, the room has only two small bars of soap,when the room was cleaned the next day the did not leave any more soap. This really bothered me considering the price of the room. The service at every resturaunt in the hotel was terrible. The food was way over priced and was very poor in quality. I will not ever stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Hotel is absolutely beautiful!! Pristeen clean. The enormity of the entire complex is a bit overwhelming and it took us sometime to feel like we could find ourselves around complex. Hotel staff friendly and always greeted us with a hello and a smile. Received phone calls to make sure we were satisfied with everything. We had a couple of requests and they were met in a very timely manner. Easy drive into Nashville, a trip we made several times. Would definitely stay at Opryland Hotel Resort again and hope to, as we want to come back to Nashville!!

Although getting checked in was a lengthy process due to a large number of guests arriving at the same time because of multiple Nashville events that weekend, the staff handled it very efficiently, professionally and almost flawlessly. The condition of the hotel is immaculate and the attractions inside the "complex" were above and beyond. The price is a little high, BUT I think it's worth it. There's almost no need to even leave the hotel except for the fact that downtown Nashville has so much to offer in night life. There is a shuttle downtown, but a cab ride is cheaper and faster in my opinion. Be prepared to pay for parking when you get there. The price between self-parking and valet is a difference of $6. My advice...pay for the valet. It's worth it also.

Beautiful gardens, but the hotel is overpriced and the "Resort Fee" they add to your bill is outrageous.

This was my second stay at Opryland resort in 4 months. On both occasions the room I booked was not available. The first time we were given complimentary dinner vouchers. On the recent stay, the booked room was not available, and they gave me a handcap room. Unacceptable for the visit. They eventually gave me a room that was not the booked room. Although it turned out to be a nice room, it was not what was booked. Needless to say, I will find a less expensive place to stay in Nashville area the next time I go there.

It's a absolutely amazing facility. A bit off the beaten path, but being close to the Opry was definitely a plus.

It was a wonderful experience. I've never seen or been around any more friendly or welcoming people who want to do everything in their power to make our stay a memorable and comfortable one. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

It was so fun and the hotel was gorgeous! We actually stayed an extra night bc there is so much to do!

Though this hotel was beautiful, I would not recommend it to any first-time visitor to Nashville. It's too far from downtown area and the hotel directory maps were a bit confusing and not very helpful. We didn't like getting lost just trying to get to various places within the resort. Also, we wished they had informed us that the indoor pool was closed for renovation, instead of discovering it for ourselves after walking the long hallways and corridors. Just not worth the money.

Great place to stay would like to come back. Beautiful hotel

Loved the city-within-a-city feel to the indoor area. Excellent decor and landscaping throughout the grounds. Food at Old Hickory was tasty but pricey; waits at the eateries for Saturday morning breakfast/brunch were long as expected. Valet parking wasn't super quick because we got stuck behind a bus tour of folks getting on their bus, but it was a welcome and convenient option during a downpour of rain! Overall we were pleased with our stay and would go again!

When we arrived were told to park & enter through aide door. Were not told where check-in was located. Told concierge would help us which was no where around. After wandering around for quite some time we finally found front desk. Then were told we had to pay extra resort fee & parking fees which totalled 41.00. Resort fee was for a some things we would not use. We got 2 bottles of water for $18.00. Very expensive water! When we went to leave were told we had to pay parking again. I said I already paid it last night when we checked in. They said we hadnt paid for their parking. I told them no it had already came out of my checking account. We finally got out of there without paying for parking twice.

Was there for music city marathon! They shuttled us to an from starting line! Took care of us very well! Very awesome expercince!

Spectacular facility. Multiple atria or glass domes make you feel like you are outside on a nice spring day. Worth staying in just to see facility. Very large with multiple levels that aren't always connected so somewhat challenging for folks with mobility issues. You can walk a long way in this hotel.

Especially if you stay a Sunday or weekend....most restaurants and shops closed. Also everything is way overpriced - the priciest restaurants indeed remained open Sunday. Also miscommunication between the staff, eg waving us into a valet lane and then telling us its a thru lane only when we get out. Its great on weekends and when splurging but otherwise avoid it

Our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. The staff was very polite and helpful. We will be staying there again in the near future. The hotel is beautiful and very welcoming.

Loved the hotel but you have to self park for 20/day or valet for 26/day. The valet took over 45 minutes waiting and they were very rude about it. The valet center gest easily overwhelmed. Hotel was beautiful and very fun but parking was horrible.

Very Clean, Opryland Hotel never disappoints.

Only complaint was that half the restaurants inside the resort would be closed on any given day.

The hotel is nice for conventions because of the space. However, food choices were limited during the day because everyone went to lunch at the same time. Lines were backed up so far that people either had to skip lunch or miss an after lunch meeting. It is a wonderful atmosphere, but does not justify the cost of an overnight stay.

This is a must-see hotel and a must-stay hotel. The inside atriums are a treat. Well maintained and very scenic landscaping at every turn. Room was a little too cold and several of the restaurants were closed on Sundays. Those were the only negatives in an otherwise awesome hotel.

Everything about this was unacceptable. From other people trying to access my room (it was double-booked) while I was in it, from being told that my room is "vacant" and waiting 10 minutes for the concierge to deign to speak to me. Add to that the billing issues and fact that this hotel doesn't tell you upfront that they HAVE NO reservation desk & I can GUARANTEE I'll never stay here again.

We read over many of the reviews prior to our arrival and we were a little worried about the "hidden" charges everyone complained about, but we were pleasantly surprised that there were not that many-Yes parking is $20/day but it is also very convenient and secure. The only complaint we had would be the cost of the restaurants inside the resort. We spent $27.50 for three pieces of pizza and two sodas! Needless to say, we ate outside the resort for the remainder of the trip. There is a shopping mall behind the Opry that had plenty of restaurants to choose from and, of course, there were many more downtown! This is a nice family place and we will go back.

Enjoyed our stay. Close enough to walk to the Opry & the Opry Mills Mall.

Very nice mini-city. No need to leave the resort! Finding the Grand Ole Opry on foot was difficult!! Very poor signage, missed our tour time :(

Expensive

This is one of the best hotels that I've ever stayed at in my life. The staff was completely awesome! Whitney, at the front desk, was the best help!! Everone that we talked to with the staff was so much help that we had a blast!

I will never book by 3rd party again. When we arrived we were told due to full occupancy we would not get the room we paid for. We were 4 adults and they wanted to give us a room with a sofa bed. They had to bring in two uncomfortable rollaways and certainly not comfortable. Towels for 2 and a 1/2 roll of toilet paper. No pillows. Many calls to front desk. Certainly not up to Marriott standards I am a Marriott Elite member and I honestly wonder if I hadn't showed them my card if we would have even gotten a room.

This is such a great place to stay. It is worth it to indulge every once in awhile while visiting Nashville. My kids and I had so much more fun staying here than we would have anywhere else in the area. If you have kids, they will love Gaylord!

I thought that the hotel was great. My wife and I visited the hotel and had decided upon it because of all the things that could be done within the hotel and the surrounding areas. We were a little disappointed that they did not tell us ahead of time when an area of the hotel would be closed for a different event. If they would have told us ahead of time we could have shifted our plans and used that area sooner in our trip. Other than this little incident the stay was great and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
